2 Chapter 2 :- A Normal Life??

As the morning came the sun was brought the birds were chirping and the entire locality was relaxed, it was the time for the beginning of spring. A thin figure lazily kept his head up and faxed at the alarm clock on the table, he was momentarily stunned,"Shit I'm late, I'm late again today,this is the third time this week, if I didn't make it on time today Mrs. H. will kill me." The figure jumped of and hurriedly went into the washroom.

Five minutes later he came out and started to get dressed."Hey,you guys should've helped me here, ok? We're on the same boat if I get detention you'll also.","You stupid people and your puny problems ,Give me reason why should this God should interfere in any of these worldly problems of yours?" A heavy voice sounded which could terrify the entire world.

"Come on 'Yan' you should be more considerate of the host in which you reside." A joyful and cheerful voice sounded which was full of life."Don't interrupt me 'Zhao' he should solve his problems himself rather than hanging on us all the time." "Alright everybody shut up don't disturb me in getting ready."

Both of them chuckled when they heard Micheal. And readily he got dressed and came down to the table, where his mom had laid the breakfast."Late again today." Hearing his mom he grinned and did not say anything but rather just sat down and ate the breakfast."Ok, Mom I'm going, I'll be late today , got an extra class so don't wait up for me. Bye!!" He stormed out of the house and jogged his way to the bus stop. A silent dark figure followed Micheal silently at some distance.

Bus Stop

"Hey Guys" Micheal shouted when he saw his friends and started running faster."Hey, Micheal where the hell have you've been I couldn't find you yesterday?" Micheal dryly laughed and said," I was kinda busy yesterday so couldn't come to your place, I'm free today where you wanna hangout?"

James stared playfully at Micheal and grinned, seeing this Micheal felt something was wrong."What happened, I didn't forget anything important did I??" He asked nervously."Today we're gonna find out our partners on the assignment that we have to give after the spring break."Micheal face ashened,"Damn I completely forgot about it." He thought for a moment and said,"Then..then there is a chance that I can be paired with her right her?" At that moment Yan. Zhao and James both started laughing in unison."Yeah right there, I don't wanna dishearten you but there is slight possibility.So hold on brother."

They boarded the bus and sat down while Micheal's head was in the clouds, he didn't even realise they had reached the school. James shook him furiously" Hey dream boy we're at school come on let's go." They got down started walking towards the entrance.

A crowded hallway with loads of students, some chatting, some carrying projects and many other stuff."Hey Michael you have thought about the assignment for today?" Michael grinned " Nah, we'll see when I'll get my partner." All of them then were casually chatting and making fun. When the bell rang they went to there classes and the hall was empty.In the classroom everyone was casually chatting and making fun when the class teacher Mrs. H. came in, Thew entire class descended into silence and then they saluted the teacher and then sat down.

"Ok, everybody settle down, as I had told you all yesterday that we will be pairing you up for the assignment for this spring break, so now as, I'll call your names come here and take a slip from this box and that would be your partner. Does anyone has any doubts. If not then we can continue our work."

Saying this she placed a big cardboard box on the table and started to call out names from her name sheet."Mark........then Jude.........Then James, Michael stared towards James, hoping that the latter would take out his name,suddenly a voice stiffened Michael,"Mister Young you don't have to be that anxious I'm not eating your friend here and it will be on luck that you both come in the same group, though I don't want such a catastrophe to happen but," she sighed " We'll see." Listening to her Michael felt embarrassed and sat straight, while everybody laughed. James went up and took out a slip of paper and read out the name,"Jennifer" Michael secretly grinned as he knew that Jennifer had been pestering James for a while now so it was amusing. Seeing Micheal smiling James starred at him was eyes of fury he knew why Michael ws suddenly so happy, but nevertheless he could do nothing about this situation at hand.

He looked where Jennifer was and found that she was starring at him for a long time he gently smiled at her, she also gave him a bright smile showing that she got what she had wanted for a long time. James sighed seeing all these action Mrs. H. came behind James and smacked the latter's head with her ruler."Ouch" we he looked behind, he saw the frightening Mrs. H. and any urges to oppose instantly died."Stop daydreaming at my table and get back at your seat there are still a lot of students left."

James with an ashened face came back to his seat where Michael sat waiting as he came the latter grinned without saying a word he sat down."Now let's continue, shall we or is there anyone who has yet to say something?" While saying this she stared at Michael, he nodded and the process continued for a while."Tim...........and then,Leonard........" name after name were called but Michael couldn't find is name as well as his partner.He felt bored and sleepy.

At that moment a beautiful voice came to his ears as he was startled,"Michael is my partner." The sweet looking girl smiled at the latter. He also smiled and lowered his head," Guess you can't defy destiny eh? " Michael grinned, " Why, Why the hell is it her? Can't it be any other girl." This was Michael shouting inside his head." Then a voice sounded in his head," You can't always keep dodging her." "Ya I guess you are right I'll have to face her this time on." " Well it has been a long time since I talked to her." Michael sighed " Then its set, This time around I'll tell her everything and leave the decision on her." "Its been awhile since we've met hasn't it...'Sarah'."
