12 The Outer Sect Tournament

Despite the fact that tomorrow the Outer Sect Tournament was going to be held , the atmosphere in the outer sect was far from good . Almost all the disciples had gloomy expressions because they had suddenly recieved the news that last night a shaking incident happened in the sect .

All the disciples had some fear inside them now which suppressed the excitement of the tournament . They could not be blamed as even though they were considered Martial Cultivators but most of them were youths who were not completely accustomed to bloodshed yet . After receiving the news that whole Black Cat Gang had been massacred last night and there was not even a scream , disciples who had connections to the now history gang were especially nervous .

The disciplanay authorities of the sect were on the move and every outer sect disciple was interrogated. Naturally Raven was also interrogated but he just casually sat there completely bored . Of course after that their attitude completely changed and the interrogation changed into formalities to which Raven obliged and was then free .

To be honest Raven had no idea about the tournament except the fact that all outer sect disciples can participate in it and top rankers will win some good prizes . He had read some books so was knowledgable about beast cores , pills etc but his interest solely lied in sect points and space rings . If those two were included in the prizes then Raven will participate otherwise it would be much more worthwhile to only strengthen his qi to the limit and finally enter the inner sect after smoothly advancing to Martial Master Realm .

The other change would be that qi would experience a qualitative change and turn into liquid from gas like form . This liquid qi is generally called true qi which only belongs to Martial Masters and further . People generally use pills and natural treasures to fasten the liquidation process but Raven could not be bothered by such trivial things as if he was not suppressing his cultivation deliberately right now then his qi would have long since changed and he would entered the Martial Master Realm . He was only constantly strengthening his qi now because the stronger his qi , the stronger his true qi will be. For Raven foundation cannot be compromised so he chose to delay his cultivation a little for further benefits.

Finally looking through the notice , he came to know about the actual competition format and the prizes . To his surprise the sect has actually increased the prizes suddenly and Raven could guess that they must have done so to encourage the disciples who were hesitating now after learning about the slaughter . Well he could not care less about others but the prizes were good to him .

He did not even glance at other prizes and his eyes were fixed at the first prize .
