Return to Sect

A space portal appeared suddenly out of nowhere inside the desolate cave . Raven crawled out of it like wind and collapsed on the hard ground . He was gasping for air as the fear was still imminent in his heart . He could swear that even death was not such fearful when compared to disintegrating into nothingness .

Finally after an hour Raven calmed down a little and sat up ignoring his smelly clothes which were drenched in his own sweat. Raven closed his eyes and direction his attention inside his soul . He smiled after noticing the change in power from before . To test the limits of his newfound power , Raven unleashed his Divine Sense outside and was flagbustered when he noticed that he could perceive everything in the radius of 500 meters around himself which was double from before . Still after calming down he was puzzled because even though the improvement was impressive but his soul had been strengthened at least five times from before so why was the Divine Sense only limited to double growth ?

Raven had little knowledge about too many things in this world and the matters concerning Soul were one of them . In the end he decided not to look into his newfound inheritance right now as he could instinctively tell that the amount of information was too great . Even with his memory capabilities, it would take days for him to assimilate all the knowledge into his brain . As for the pain from overexertion the brain ? It was simply of no concern for Raven . He was truly glad about this special constitution which saved him from one enemy which goes by the name Pain .

Raven looked at the sky and discovered that the morning had already arrived and from the looks of the blazing sun , it was already the afternoon . He must have spent quite a time inside the independent space . Raven had now brushed off the faer from before and only smile hung on his face as he wanted to quickly settle his mission completion and assimilate his inheritance slowly inside his mansion .

But Raven decided not to leave yet as he had to make sure to think of a proper excuse when handing the Token to the Sect Authorities. He had hundred percent confidence that he was assigned this mission because he was considered ignorant new Inner Disciple who had no knowledge about Formations . The Sect would definitely dispatch some Strong Forces to inspect this cave in the future and they were destined to discover only a high level Transport Fornation which is now linked to nowhere since the independent space had already collapsed .

Raven did not want to stand out much yet as he planned to not reveal his cultivation of 9th Level Martial Master to others . He would be either treated as a Monstrous Talent or suspected that he must have ingested some kind of treasure to reach such heights in the short amount of time . He was now feeling helpless at his own talent because he knew that he had depended on preservance and talent but others definitely wont believe him .

From the books he had read , even the God level talent holders had never shown such cultivation speed in the past . Raven had only took about one and half months to reach the Peak of Martial Master Realm from the peak of Martial Disciple Realm . He was not afraid of fame but the jealousy of others which would definitely follow with fame . He had no background which would protect him and others would definitely choose to eliminate him for good because he does not plan to become a pawn for them .

This world was cruel as deaths of geniuses were common before they can achieve much in their lives. Raven suspected that he would have the same fate if he revealed his talent . Fortunately Raven had perfect control on his qi so hiding cultivation from others wont be a problem for him unless they are too many realms higher than him . Now if he walked into the crowd of normal people , nobody would manage to differentiate him from others because his body would leak a bit of qi .

Raven mediated for another hour inside the cave while thinking of a perfect solution to this problems . In the end he reached the conclusion that he needed allies and needed to lay low for a while. Raven only had a little bit of connections with Elder Mark and fortunately he was the Highest Authority in the Inner Court . Raven knew that he would have to leave the Inner Court again for the Core Court when he advances to the next realm and becomes a Core Disciple . Then he would be on his own again . So Raven decided to lay low and spend his time learning Pill Refining, Forging and Formations for a while .

He was sure that the Inheritance from Master Wulomg must contain the scripture for higher realms so Raven doesn't have to worry about advancing to the Core Court before further cultivation advancement . Even if he did not receive such scriptures then He could use other means to procure them . All in all he had time so everything can be considered slowly .

Raven had at first planned to visit some areas populated with beasts and battle for another ten to fifteen days to temper his skills and simultaneously strengthen his qi to the limit before returning to the Sect . But now he wanted to assimilate all the new knowledge as quickly as possible and he had the time . So Raven decided to quickly return to the Sect and hand over the corpse of Bloom with his space ring of course the Token Key too . Now the Token Key was only a high level object which can be researched to gain knowledge in the Art of Formations . They can never hope to gain something else so this will teach them a little lesson . In fact Raven wanted to find out the Scheming Bastard who decided to use him and teach him a harsh lesson but alas he would have to take things slowly from now on .

He started climbing down the Rock Mountain and quickly reached the bottom because even the 1000 meter height pose no problem to Raven who had strong body which helped him resist the pressure from gales of wind that assaulted him . The footing were few but Raven created new ones by carving some with qi blades and using them to leisurely climb down .

He took a deep breath when the familiar grass plain greeted him which extended to great distances . Raven followed the road back towards the White Cloud City and reached there in a few hours . He deliberately traveled slowly to admire the scenery on the way which was special for him because the contrast from the polluted environment on earth was great .

In fact the disciples can choose to hand over their mission when completed to the shops or other establishments that were operated and managed by the Sect . But they could only redeem their rewards formally from the Sect Mission Hall . Still Raven who had recieved a Secret Mission had no choice but to hand over the Mission Completion straight to the Sect Authorities. This was the rule and Raven did not want to receive penalties from such a small thing . In the end he did not rest in the city and decided to return to the Sect which was only few minutes distance from the City.

He crossed the familiar barren no man's land and climbed the staircase which connected to the Sect Entrance . Soon huge Words Floating Cloud greeted him which were embodiment of calligraphy and were really imposing . He just flashed his white Token which was the identity Token for Sect Disciples and the guards did not dare to bother him . They simply did not want to offend an Inner Disciple with their lowly status and Raven was special because almost everyone recognized him from the Outer Sect Tournament . Raven ignored their gazes filled with admiration and leisurely walked inside through the huge gates . As soon as his figured dissapeared, the disciples who had too much free time on their hands started whispering not knowing that all their conversations could be heard by Raven who had his Divine Sense always unleashed and now it spans 500 meters radius around him .
