10 Martial Heart

A month has passed since Raven entered the outer mountain . In the sect all the disciples were experiencing a quiet as they were busy training and cultivating for the upcoming Outer Sect Tournament. Not all of them could hope to compete for good rankings but still the rewards were too tempting to ignore. The fire lit in the hearts of youth cannot be extinguished so easily .

Meanwhile outside the sect main entrance rows and rows of outer disciples were lining up as all of them were returning to their sect after completing missions . They could not wait to exchange cultivation resources for their accumulated sect points and use them to experience Giant leaps in cultivation . They all wanted to perform well in the upcoming tournament and gain some prestige and prize.

Suddenly gasps could be heard from disciples and all of then were looking at the same direction . A figure could be seen advancing slowly step by step towards them but the ferocious aura emitted from his body actually suffocated them . He wore a tattered outer sect robe of Floating Cloud Sect and blood stains were too many to count on it .

The figure had average build and average face but his aura brimmed with extraordinary light and many disciples were left in awe . He carried a heavy sword on his back and the scabbard was too tattered which exposed the shiny sword to light but the light was red which meant blood . The demsneour of the figure was too extraordinary but everyone was confused as they had not seen such a nice brother in their outer sect before . Maybe there are too many disciples but all of the extraordinary ones have been etched in their minds already . So it was strange that they could not remember such a person .

The figure was actually Raven and he had now returned from the mountain after experiencing too much bloodbath and breaking through many limits . He had underestimated the sheer number of beasts which caused him to face situations where he had to fight with hundreds of beasts at once for more than ten times in this month . He had forgotten how many times he had cursed those wretched beasts and his own foolishness because he had actually forgotten to being medicine to heal wounds . Even though he could fight for long times regardless of the number of beasts due to his superior qi and special constitution but mental strain was too much. He was after all a person from modern earth inside and had underestimated the brutal environment of this world . Fortunately now everything has changed and his mindset is now firm . Now his Martial Heart is strong and he has scrapped the plan of acting low key because he discovered that mindset was actually linked with advancement in cultivation . After advancing to peak 6 th level , he was stuck on the same level for more than five days and had to fight hoards of bastard beasts in such condition . He could not guess the reason despite using his genius mind all the time . And just when he forgot everything and decided to slaughter the shit out of these damned beasts during a battle , he unexpectedly broke through during the battle . This discovery caused him to rethink his plans and finally after much deliberation he arrived at the conclusion that Martial Heart was the cause . If its strong then you are strong and if its weak then you are weak . Still though he does not plan to stop using schemes to kill his enemies because a genius will use everything at his disposal to slaughter his enemies including his mind .

Now he did not conceal his aura because he plans to make a strong debut at the tournament and it would be a hassle if he was bombarded with questions by other strong people . Now other contestants would know about him beforehand and he can be saved from their bickering and only focus on defeating them . But first it was now time for the Black Cat Gang to disappear and some plans need to made and implemented first .
