50 Healing and Return

Raven had to carry back Simon on his shoulder but the trip was on the contrary smoother than before . It was so because he had already familiarized himself with the locations of the dark swamps . Raven's memory was so good that it was difficult for him to forget something that he had learnt once . Thus the back trip was smooth and only took few minutes.

Soon the familiar green environment greeted then and Raven immediately dashed off towards the Rock Mountain in the distance . The power Divine Sense made it possible to avoid beasts for Raven because they all were scattered and the distance was 4000 meters radius around himself . Raven was like Daisy in water and crossing the plain area , soon arrived near the towering brown mountain.

Raven looked at the unconscious Simon on his shoulder and sighed because he had to carry him and climb the dangerous mountain until he found some small natural cave there.

There was no need for hesitation so Raven decisively tore his long white robe and tied the unconscious Simon with his body . Simon showed no signs of waking up despite the rough treatment but Raven could not blame him because the damage to vitality was too severe . Raven was sure that Simon would have died if he spent two or three more days inside that bastard Garden unconscious .

Fortunately the extra weight was nothing to Raven so he swiftly climbed the mountain by creating footholds with qi blasts on the way. The gales of wind threatened to make him fall but the pressure was close to nothing after Raven had advanced to Martial Soldier Realm.

The body would be automatically nourished with qi during cultivation which was even more so for Raven who had practically no impurities and pure qi inside his body . The climbing trip was smooth and finally they encountered a small cave which was more than enough for the two of them to rest .

Raven knew that he could take back Simon to the Sect now but it would better if he allowed Simon to wake up first and nourish his haggard body a little first . This way Raven could be more assured of the fact that Simon would not be injured on the way back . Raven doubted that those who had injured Simon would come back once more if they found that Simon actually survived . Naturally Raven would be forced to fight too thus Raven wanted to make sure that Simon was capable of walking by himself in the case they were surrounded by enemies .

Raven took out a bottle filled with water from his space ring and splashed it rudely on Simon's haggard face .

" Who..? Cough Cough.. " Simon started coughing hard but Raven dripped the remaining water slowly from over his head so that Simon's body could absorb it little by little.

" Have you calmed down now ? " Raven asked calmly while throwing the empty bottle outside the cave .

To avoid suspicion , Raven wore his Inner Sect Token on the chest so that Simon could guess his identity . Raven knew that Simon must be confused because he was facing life threatening situation before , so he choose to take it slowly .

" I'm fine .. Brother , how many days have passed since I went missing ? Did grandfather sent you ? " Simon had not calmed down fully so he started pestering Raven with question which made him feel annoyed .

Raven slapped the injured person without any care but only lightly to not accidentally slap Simon to death .

" Look , I saved you but we are not yet back in the Sect . I woke you up because I need you to recover and tell me about your enemies . Maybe we will be attacked by them and I'm going to be dragged into it . So shut the hell up and eat some food to recover first ! " Raven shouted loudly and Simon being a pampered young master was too scared to talk back .

Raven was both satisfied and angry as he took out some beast meat from his space ring and started cooking it with pill fire . Raven was angry at himself because he was actually impressed with this coward before because the will to survive he had shown was uncommon . But from Simon's previous behaviour , Raven could guess that he was just a coward who was too afraid to die .

With his Divine Sense, Raven had scanned Simon's body from up close thus he knew that his 8th Level Martial Master Cultivation only came from either treasures or pills because his foundation was too unstable . Raven was too unimpressed with this pampered one now but chose to suppress his anger because it was not Simon's fault that he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and had a doting Grandfather who spoiled him from young age.

The meat was cooked soon because Raven's qi fire was too hot and his control was excellent so he gave it to Simon and himself closed his eyes and went into meditation. Raven chose not to share his Blood Replenishing Pills with Simon because even though Simon would be completely cured of wounds with a single high rank Pill but these pills were too rare especially in this backward region . So Raven was sure that this brat could not hold such secret and Raven wanted to avoid such troubles.

The bodies of cultivators were amazing so with just eating little meat of Level 2 beast and recovering his qi in 7 hours , Simon could walk again without any troubles . But his skinny body could not be recovered so easily because the cells would take time to grow once more . Raven knew that Simon had sided more than one hidden injuries due to qi exhaustion and unstable foundation but he did not plan to tell Simon anything about it . As far as Raven was concerned, he wanted to have no contact with Simon after delivering him back to the Sect .

Raven did not chose to cultivate and only mediated for the night with his sword placed inside his lap . While Simon was too tired and went to sleep . Morning came and Raven once again tied Simon to his back and climbed the Rock Mountain . He had the Divine Sense on all the time so Raven did not fear any ambush attacks thus he climbed at full speed .

Simon seemed to be afraid of Raven so he did not talk at all which was good for Raven as he could not promise to not hit him , if Simon talked some nonsense . Raven hated spoiled brats most because they knew nothing about hardships and had the tendency to mock the poor . He had no good feelings about such people inside his heart because Raven had spent his past life being looked down upon by such people . Raven may be biased but his bias had some truth to it too .

The trip back to the Sect was smooth as Raven chose to hide Simon's figure with a simple black cloak inside the White Cloud City. The selfish bastard did not tell Raven anything related to the identity of his attackers but Raven also chose not to ask anymore because he did not need to anymore.

They had not encountered enemy attacks and safely arrived at the Sect . Raven dropped Simon at the main gate of Inner Court while himself went towards the mansion belonging to Head Inner Elder as he had to report some things to Sam while complaining about the selfish brat who was too pampered and refused to tell Raven about his enemies .
