16 UA Entrance Exam

Today is the day for UA High School entrance exam. Kenshin like usual woke up at 4 AM and did his training through less than normal as he will save energy for the entrance exam. He knew he is very strong compared to normal people but he doesn't know how much stronger he is compared to people with strong quirks.

After about 2 and a half hours of training, he quickly went to the bathroom to clean himself and freshen up. After that, he prepared his breakfast. Yes as Kenshin is living by himself, he prepares everything by himself.

After he finished his breakfast and he was just about to rest for a while when his phone rang. He looked at the phone and it was Aunt Yuuto who was calling.

"Ken-chan, are you prepared for the exam, don't push too hard okay, be healthy and be safe", said Aunt Yuuto in a single line.

"Okay okay aunty I am okay, I will try my best and will not push myself too hard", said Kenshin while sighing.

After that, he talked with his aunt then went to the couch to relax and watch TV. After a few minutes he got another call from Sakura-chan or Sakura-neesan as Kenshin calls her. He talked with Sakura chan for another few minutes and then continue watching TV.

Actually, it was only these two people that Kenshin is quite close and talks normally otherwise he behaves quite coldly(like Todoroki in Anime except the whole gayish vibe). After when it was half an hour before the beginning of the test Kenshin started to get ready.

Actually, it takes about 30 minutes of walking to reach there but for Kenshin, it will take at max 5 minutes if he ran slowly. Kenshin took 5 minutes to get ready and comb his hair and all these things. Kenshin wore black pants, a white T-shirt and a black jacket above the white t-shirt whose zip was open which looked pretty nice for him.

As the registration was done online, they didn't need to go there earlier to register before the event. After getting ready Kenshin took about 5 minutes to reach the area(auditorium where instruction will be given for the exam). All the females were looking at Kenshin who was looking like a model rather than a hero course student.

As all the females were checking out him, all the males were looking at him enviously and some of them had even started to curse him loudly. Kenshin looked at everybody and found many characters from the story, be it Midoriya Izuku or Katsuki Bakugo or others. [Well everybody had arrived earlier, so Kenshin was kin of the late comer]

Kenshin looked around and searched for an area where seats were found. Be it luck or whatever, he found a seat near Midoriya Izuku who was also quirkless(though not anymore). Kenshin walked towards Midoriya and sat between Bakugo and Midoriya.

"Hhh-helll-lo My name is Midoriya Izuku. Are you also going to take the entrance exam", asked Midoriya. Kenshin just looked at him and thought 'is this guy became brain dead after getting his quirk'.

"Yes, I am here to take the test. My name is Kenshin, Hayate Kenshin", said Kenshin.

After saying that Kenshin turned towards the stage and waited for the instructor to come and tell them about the exam. About 10 minutes later Present mic came to the stage.

"Welcome one and all to my live show. Everybody say HEYYYYY", shouted as soon as he reached the stage but the response was a bit underwhelming as everybody was tensed before the exam so there was no response at all.

"I got shivers down my spine too, listeners…. ", like this Present Mic began to spout nonsense for a few minutes but the audience was deathly silent.

"Oh my god, its voice type hero Present Mic. I listened to him every day on the radio. This is incredible, the lectures at UA will be given by the pro heroes…..", like this Midoriya also began shouting nonsense. He has shown his otaku power. Kenshin annoyed by him and glared at him.

"Shut it Deku", shouted Bakugo lightly. Looking at both Kenshin and Bakugo glaring at him, Midoriya timidly quiets down.

"Now pay close attention listeners. We will be testing your mettle by running a 10-meter practice run at our replica city district. There are about 20000 students in this test, so you all will be divided into 5 groups of 4000 students in each group. Take whatever you want and gather at the designated meeting area", said Present Mic.

"They didn't intend to let friends and classmates cooperate with each other", said Bakugo.

"They gave us serial numbers for the exam but it seems the meeting is elsewhere", said Midoriya timidly.

"Don't fucking look for me or I will kill you. This is probably a set up for me to not crush you", said Bakugo.

Midoriya who heard this gulped. Kenshin looked at both of them and ignored them completely. Bakugo saw Kenshin's calm face and he got angry for some reason.

"Fucking Manwhore. Tsk", said Bakugo. Meanwhile, Kenshin completely ignored his presence which angered Bakugo more.

"We will be sprinkling a large number of 'villains' over the battlefield. They will appear in 3 different varieties with point value scored according to difficulty (1point, 2 point, and 3 points). Using individual quirk defeat as many villains as you can and try to get a high score. And don't try to do any nasty stuff like attacking fellow competitors or any other anti-hero stuff otherwise you will be disqualified. Got That", said Present Mic.

"May I ask you a question, the handout we were given said there are 4 types of villains and you only explained about 3 types. This is an embarrassment for a top tier national level school like UA high school. We come here to train to become a Model Hero and this kind of irresponsibility is not worthy of UA's reputation", rated Iida.

Kenshin looked at it and thought 'he could have said this normally without all those bullshit model hero things'. Then Iida looked towards Midoriya and said, "And what up with you? you curly hair kid?you are blabbering too much and it's distracting. If you think UA is a pleasure joint then leave at once", said Iida while glaring at Midoriya.

Kenshin just looked over and returned his gaze towards the front while Bakugo just humphed.

"Okay okay, thank you for noticing this participant number 7111. As you mentioned it correctly, there is indeed a 4th type of villain but its worth 0 points. If you have played any game you will know there are arena traps that you must avoid. So the 4th type is an arena trap type villain", said Present Mic.

"Thank you very much for this valuable information and sorry for being rude earlier", said Iida.

"Okay if you have any other question then ask away otherwise get ready and reach your designated area within 15 minutes", said Present Mic.

After that everybody went to their designated areas. Kenshin went to his designated area and started searching who else is there among the popular or cannon characters from the manga or anime. He saw that there are quite a few known characters here like Koji Koda, Rikido Sato, Mezo Shoji, and Kyoka Jiro.

Many participants were also eyeing him as he is very handsome and moreover he has a height similar to Mezo Shoji. Though height has nothing to do with quirk still it gave a domineering presence.

While he was searching he found someone wearing Luffy's costume while another was wearing Zoro's type bandana. Seeing this Kenshin just smiled a bit as 'One Piece' manga that he drew became very popular within a few weeks of its arrival. It's an awesome story along with amazing drawing and the fact that it comes every 3 days made is very popular.

In the last 3-4 years, Kenshin has drawn about 500+ chapters though the last published chapter was 380 in which Luffy and gang reach Enies Lobby to save Robin. There were many quirks that were deemed useless but after reading 'One Piece', many such heroes or young men got inspired. The number of Heroes registered has increased exponentially in the past 3 years.

Now coming back to the entrance exam, Kenshin and many participants wait for about 10 minutes when they heard Present Mic's voice, "What's the matter, the countdown has started. There are no countdowns in a real battle. Go Go Go".
