19 Quirk Apprehension Test

Today was the day when school will start. Kenshin woke up early as usual and did about 3 hours of heavy exercise and 1 hour of meditation to calm his mind and relax. Then he got ready and prepared his breakfast. After breakfast, there were only 40 minutes to the classes to begin.

Kenshin joined Mei and both of them reached school when there were only 10 minutes for the classes to start. Kenshin searched for a bit and found his class. There was barely a minute left for the class to start. Kenshin was inwardly cursing UA for being so big that it is difficult to find a class.

When he reached the Midoriya and Uraraka were standing on the door and talking and Aizawa was sleeping in his sleep bag while looking at them.

"If you are gonna hunting for friends do it elsewhere. This is the department of heroics", said Aizawa said which startled everybody in the class. They soon get to their respective seat and Aizawa was going out of his sleeping bag.

Kenshin entered at the moment and quickly took the only seat available that is seat number 19 beside Momo Yaoyorozu. Aizawa who was near the door thought, "How he managed to enter without even me noticing his presence". He was fully shocked by the kid's talent.

"It took you all about 8 seconds to calm down, kids nowadays lack common sense. I am your homeroom teacher Aizawa Shota. Please to meet you", said Aizawa in an uninterested tone.

"You don't look pleased with all" this was the thought running down everybody's when they heard Aizawa's introduction.

"Wear these immediately and shove off to PE grounds where we will conduct Quirk apprehension Test", said Aizawa while taking out PE clothes from the sleeping bag.

"Quirk Apprehension Test" they were shocked to see a test on the very 1st day.

"You have 15 minutes to come to the ground or you will be punished", said Aizawa after looking at the kids who were shocked or were talking among themselves. After that, he went out of the room.

"Hi, my name is Momo Yaoyorozu. You must be Hayate Kenshin, the one who scored 1st rank in the entrance exam", said Momo.

"Yes, I am Hayate Kenshin", said Kenshin calmly. Kenshin had to admit Momo is really smart as the anime says.

"SO, you are Hayate Kenshin"

"Yeah, you broke through All Might's record"

"You are amazing"

After hearing Momo's voice, all of the people in the class knew that he was the top scorer in the entrance exam. SO, they congratulated him and talked with him. But Kenshin is as always just smiled and nodded at them without much talking.

After that, all the boys went to the changing room to change into PE uniforms. Kenshin usually wore slightly loose clothes, so he appears to be thinner than he is. When Kenshin took his shirt, everybody was looking at Kenshin with shock.

They thought that he would be skinny but when Kenshin took off his shirt, they saw his 8 pack abs and fully developed muscles all around his body. These muscles are not buffy like All might but they knew it contains explosive power.

After that, they went to the ground where the Test was going to happen. Aizawa began to talk, "softball pitch, standing long jump, 50meter dash, endurance running, grip strength test, sustained sideways jump, upper body exercise and seated toe touch.

You all know these as they were used during PE tests in your middle schools but you were not allowed to use your quirk. But now you will all do these tests while using your quirk or using your full strength".

"Bakugo, how far you can pitch softball in your middle school", asked Aizawa.

"67 meters", said Bakugo.

As expected Bakugo create an explosion near the ball to propel it to a large distance.

"Before anything else, one must know what they are capable of. This is the rational metric that will form the basis of your hero foundation", said Aizawa while showing them the distance that Bakugo has thrown. "705.2"

Some excited students saw this and said it will be fun using quirk. Many were happy using their quirk that they were normally banned to use.

"Fun? fun you say. Are you planning to spend the rest of your 3 years having fun? What happened to become a hero. Okay new rule- The one who will score last in today's test will be deemed unfit to continue in UA and will be instantly expelled", said Aizawa.

After that everyone understood that this was UA they were talking about Japan's best school. So they would have to leave their casual attitude and have to always be in serious mode.

Soon after that trial began. The 1st one was the 50-meter dash. Tenya Iida with his engine quirk completed it in 3.04 seconds. Likewise, many people completed their trail using their full power. Soon after it was Kenshin's turn to start this trial. Kenshin used his full power and used 'dodging shadows' technique to dashed forward.

It took him 2.01 seconds to finish the race. This shocked everybody. Aizawa didn't expect him to have such speed. Aizawa thought, "This kid either improved within this month or he was not showing his full power during the entrance exam. This kid is interesting".

After that, the 1st trial finished and it was time for their 2nd trial-The grip strength test. When it was Kenshin's turn, he put pressure and the machine broke which again shocked everyone. Aizawa quickly noted down whatever he was noting down.

After that, all the tests were conducted and except for the softball pitching where Uraraka scored infinity, Kenshin aced in all his exams. All other students were impressed by him except Bakugo and Todoroki who looked at Kenshin with fighting intent.

Kenshin was very shocked when he saw Midoriya's using his finger to propel 'one for all' quirk to send the ball flying away. He somewhat admires Midoriya as someone who has been quirkless throughout his life was suddenly given a very powerful quirk. And to prove himself Midoriya put his life almost on the line.

After all the tests were over, before handing the results to the students Aizawa said, "Ohh the expulsion was just a lie to push yourself to the limit". Everybody had a very weird expression as they worked their ass off only to know that it was just a joke.

The result was obvious with Kenshin scoring the 1st rank in it. Except a few, others were happy with their scores.

"Most of you look happy. So a piece of news for you. Kenshin is quirkless which means you got your ass beaten by a quirkless guy", said Aizawa. He said this to increase the pressure on the students.

Everyone who heard this thought it was impossible. They have seen Kenshin's performance. They thought it was just his quirk was amazing but to find out that, they were shocked to their core. Bakugo was very angry as he found out that his childhood quirkless friend have a quirk and he was defeated by another quirkless guy. To say he was angry was an understatement.

"I will fucking kill you", Bakugo who was angry rushed towards Kenshin to punch him with his explosion quirk. Kenshin quickly dodged that and closed the distance before even Bakugo realizing, Kenshin punched Bakugo with an uppercut that sent Bakugo a few meters back and made him unconscious.

Aizawa who was watching this scene thought, "This kid has skills even if Bakugo attacked without much thinking, it was still commendable how easily he countered it. Well, I did a good job creating this rivalry as it will help them improve much faster".

Throughout the class the one who was most shocked was Midoriya. Midoriya thought, "How is this possible. Kenshin-Kun is so strong and to think he didn't have a quirk and all this is his training". He was very angry at himself at the moment for wasting his time but then calmed down and swore he would train harder and will not slack off to make All Might proud who gave him a powerful quirk.

Others also began to ask Kenshin on how he trained to become this strong and all. The one who pestered the most was Kirishima who was a fan of muscles. He began to ask Kenshin a lot of questions. Another was the smartass of the class Momo, she asked a lot of questions.

So all in all, the very 1st day of his high school was very happening and he made quite some friends and rivals…...
