11 Going to America

The crowd was silent as they were shocked. It first looked like Kenshin was receiving the punch but then suddenly Kenshin started attacking and within only 9-second Kuzan was critically injured. After some time crowd clapped and started cheering Kenshin's name loudly.

Kenshin's parent was very happy. They were scared at first but then soon saw that none of the punches hurt Kenshin, then they saw Kenshin quickly turned the tides and won. They were also happy as they heard Kenshin could even defeat the World Champion if he fought like that. Which parent will not be happy after hearing such praises for their son.

Elsewhere in the commentator section, a short man of 28-29 years of age saw the fight with a fire in his eyes. He was the commentator but didn't speak after seeing the fight. This man was Date Eiji, the man who once quit boxing after his disastrous defeat to a World Champion. His fire which was dimmed down regained his light once again when he saw a young man of 17 years with such strength.

In the area where people of Kamogawa gym were sitting. Coach Kamogawa looked at them and said, "Do you also want this kind of cheering by 15000 peoples for you? Do you also want to defeat your opponents like that? If you do, then train more seriously from tomorrow and don't slack even if you are able to achieve something. Yo went to watch the brat's(Kenshin) training, so do you think it is all just due to talent and nothing else. You guys have power, you just need a resolve like that brat's in order to move ahead".

Takamura and gang just nodded and didn't say much as they knew that the coach was right, they need resolve and it is not just talent, there is a lot of effort is also involved. Seeing them silent Coach Kamogawa said, "Okay train but don't train like that brat Kenshin, you should take rest within. That brat is really abnormal. Okay, don't make so serious face. Kenshin just won Japan's Championship belt in the super heavyweight category. Tonight we should celebrate properly".

In the ring Kenshin received the belt then the host asked him to tell about something. Kenshin took the mic and looked at the crowd and said, "I am very happy that all my 12 years effort paid off. I am thankful to my parents who supported me throughout my way and my friend from the gym who kept me entertained and I learned a lot from them".

The host then asked, "What are your plans now that you won Japan's Championship".

"Plans… I don't have any I just have a goal that is World Champion and that goal is within my reach", said Kenshin.

After that the event ended, the members of the Kamogawa Gym went to celebrate. Coach Kamogawa was so happy that he drank until he fell asleep. Everyone enjoyed the night as much as they could because they decided to train seriously from tomorrow, so they will not be able to party in a while.

The next day Coach Kamogawa called Kenshin into his office to talk. Soon Kenshin entered the office only to see Coach Kamogawa with a serious face.

"Brat sit quickly, we have things to discuss", said Coach Kamogawa. Kenshin quickly sat down and looked at Coach Kamogawa to start the conversation.

"What do we do now that you have become Japan Champ. Do you want to join OPBF and fight there or do you want to go to America to fight for World Championship belt", said Coach Kamogawa?

"Hmmm… going to OPBF events will be a waste as they have similar to JBC's level. I want to go to America to fight for World Championship belt", said Kenshin.

"Okay brat get ready, we will then go to America", said Coach Kamogawa excitedly.

"Coach, if you go with me, will it not hinder Takamura san and Ippo's training", said Kenshin which cooldown Coach Kamogawa's excitement. Coach Kamogawa began to think about the problem.

"Hmmmm….Coach I have a solution, Why not we add my prize money and we let Takamura-san, Aoki-san, Kimura-san, Ippo, Yagi-chan and Shinoda-san with us. It will be enough for us to live about 4 months there and I am confident to win the championship within the time and Takamura-san also has the hope to win. Moreover, everybody will receive exposure and fighting experience which will help them to fight later. Ippo's goal is very small, so it will broaden his horizon and help him a lot", said Kenshin.

Coach Kamogawa looked at Kenshin for a bit then thought, "Your idea is nice, getting exposure will be beneficial for everyone. Brat you really are amazing. Even your ideas are amazing.", said Coach Kamogawa.

After this, Kenshin and Coach Kamogawa went outside where Yagi-chan called Takamura and gang to come near Coach Kamogawa.

"Old man, why did you call us. Don't you see we are training", said Takamura.

"I have an important announcement to make, The brat(pointing at Kenshin) is planning to go to America to train, so as a Coach I will have to go with him", said Coach Kamogawa. Coach Kamogawa was about to say something when Ippo interjected, "Coach, what about my training".

"Yeah old man, what about all of our training", said Takamura.

"Just let me complete what I have to say you damm brats. I am going with Kenshin but not alone. Kenshin added the prize money and we have enough for all of us to stay in America for about 4 months with food and transportation, and we will earn by fighting their boxers. So you all along with Shinoda and yagi chan are coming with us", said Coach Kamogawa.

Everybody became shocked after what they heard, 'they will all go to America'.

"Old man are you serious" "We will go to America" "I heard, they are very strong," Takamura said followed by Aoki and Kimura.

"What, are you guys afraid. It's okay if you are afraid", said Coach Kamogawa teasingly.

"We are not afraid", said the three of them at the same time.

"Okay, you all contact your family and ask for permission quickly so that we will make the necessary documents in time within a month so that we can go to America for about 4-5 month, then return before Ippo's rookie king competition and you guys will fight respective Japan champion of your weight category. Now go and start preparation", said Coach Kamogawa.

Everybody quickly finished training and went home to ask permission to which all of them got very quickly then they started collecting documents and other preparation for going to America.

Fuji-san came to talk about the rookie competition to Ippo but he was shocked to find the news about the 5 most amazing boxers of Kamogawa gym were going to America along with their coaches for training and fighting.

Soon, after a week everyone got the news that Kenshin returned the belt to JBC as he is planning to go to America in the next month. Then another 2 days later Monthly boxing Fan magazine was published in which Fuji-san wrote about 5 boxers from Kamogawa gym going to America. This news became sensational as 5 of the most successful boxers decided to go to America to fight and train.
