7 Onward Journey

Mivio, on his journey through the winding and dark corridors, finally arrived at a room that should be tightly closed, but whose doors, although massive and intended to withstand an enemy attack, was been completely destroyed, as if torn apart.

Staying alert on even the slightest signal of danger, the youth slowly entered the room filled with various types of documents and modern computers, whose appearance only made him confused more.

Looking carefully at everything, he was surprised to discover that he understood the language in which these documents were written, although he knew that this was the first time when he had encountered it.

But despite understanding the language itself, he didn't understand what these documents were about.

So, after a moment, gently shrugging his slim shoulders, he put back these incomprehensible for him these things and began to browse the electrical devices located here.

He tried to find something that he could launch and that would provide him with some information about this world, but unfortunately, despite many different attempts, he didn't notice that it brought him to any results.

The discouraged youth was about to leave this room when his beautiful, watery eyes, shining like the most precious and noblest jewels, caught in their field of view a strange little object, most of which was matte and black except for small silver elements.

Mivio curiously tilted his head gently to the side, making his long wavy hair tilted to one side, flowing down like a sea wave.

With curiosity in his usually impassive and cold eyes, he reached with his slender hand for this little device, gently touching it with his fingers and stroking its smooth, cool surface.

The deep matte black of the device against his flawless jade skin created a beautiful contrast, giving the impression that the youth's skin was becoming more ethereal and translucent, as if he was not a real human, but only someone's dream, an illusion that can in any moment to disappear.

Picking up this unfamiliar device to get a better look at it, Mivio discovered that through a strange strap serving as a clasp and a strange thin and small screen on the side with small buttons and a stylus that looked more like an elegant pen, this device reminded him of a watch connection with telephone.

The youth tried several times to turn on this exceptionally slim and light device, but unfortunately, all his attempts failed.

He didn't know that this is one of the most popular models of the so-called light brain, also known as a terminal, which, thanks to its good performance and an additional screen displayed in the air, has long replaced cell phones and often computers, which were even more developed nowadays and mostly used by the military and people who did more than simply browse the web or play games.

This particular light brain belonged to one of the mysteriously missing crew members of this spaceship, and it had in its internal memory a vast database, which would be at the moment extremely priceless for this youth.

But, unfortunately, the power of this device had long run out and it could not be of any help to this beautiful man, and at least until he will discover how to use this device, which was widespread to other inhabitants of this interstellar world, and how to recharge it so that he could reopen it and start them, which, unfortunately, in the current desert position in which the youth was now, probably will not happen soon.

After a moment of reflection, stating that it is better to take it with them than leave it, the youth put on the device on his wrist and, one last time looking at this abandoned room which contains a huge amount of knowledge, he left it, to continue traversing the vast corridors of this destroyed spacecraft.

When the sun was mercilessly illuminating with its brilliance the sands of the desert, making the tiny bright grains which it was composed of sparkling like millions of tiny crystals, the damaged fragments of this machine, which had been visible so far, slowly began to fall back into the abyss of sand, disappearing as if they had never been here.

The young ethereal man, feeling the sudden movement of the metal substrate on which he had tread so far, looked around in search of the closest possible exit from this, as it turned out, illusory hideout.

Along the way, he managed to collect yet some useful items, which he packed in a bit destroyed, but still completely, small travel bag, which he put across his chest for convenience, and which, among other things, contained water, and a substance, which was strange for this youth, and it was wrapped in plastic bags, which was signed as a nutritional substance.

It was one of the most popular things that could be found on all kinds of spacecraft, and even more so in ships and military facilities.

Some hated the taste of this so-called nutritional substance, and while others were indifferent to it.

It didn't focus on providing the recipient with good taste but on providing the body with the most necessary substances to survive and maintain the strength.

Also in the young man's bag was a long black jacket, a little too big for him, reminding him of military clothing, which half looked to him like a long cloak down to the ground.

The last thing he took was another knife, which was the same as the one the youth had girded to his body earlier.

Although Mivio found a lot of strange and interesting things in this machine, he didn't want to take much from there.

Especially since, when so far, he didn't know what most of these things were for or what their purpose or use was.

But what wondered this youth the most was that despite finding the traces of the crew of this ship several times and the discovery of several strange rooms in which it looked as if a fight had taken place, he didn't find a single trace left of the body or traces that would lead to it.

It was as if after the fight, the traces of which remained, everything else was gone. Disappeared a person who fought and this with what or with whom he fought as if they were evaporating in the air.

This gave the youth a bad feeling, and that was why he remained vigilant all the time while he walked through the dark and pleasantly cool corridors of the machine, and it is thanks to this that he so quickly drew attention, to at first the delicate and almost imperceptible sliding of the machine back into the sand depths from which he would not be saved.

But despite the early awareness of this emergency, however, due to the ignorance of the area, he managed to barely escape at the last moment before being buried alive in a machine that would instantly turn from a shelter into a steel coffin for him.

The youth sighed deeply and for the last time, he looked at the flash of metal disappearing in the sand, and then, covering his head with a breathable scarf to protect himself from the sunstroke, he moved forward without looking back anymore.

A long trek awaited him in the scorching rays of the merciless sun and the dangers of the desert still unknown to him, including those living during the day Desert Beasts, whose presence could only be detected by the most skillful travelers who had united with the desert.

At the same time, in the boundless space of outer space, the Marshal's military armored spacecraft slowly approached this desert planet, following the fading signal of the ship sinking into the sand.

The encounter, which could take place, was lost, and destiny turned its head once more, closing its eyes and allowing those whose souls were unity to pass each other on their journey without even realizing the existence of the other.
