“Puuu! Aren’t you the shameless one, Braelyn?” a young woman dressed luxuriously, wearing branded items from head to toe, scoffed disgustingly as she looked at the drenched young woman sitting down pitifully.

How dare she look as if she was being bullied when she was the shameless one?

Braelyn clenched her fists angrily as glared hatefully at the young woman who had been calling her names in the past few minutes.

What did she do wrong? She couldn’t help but scoff as her attention shifted to the young man sitting across from her.

Just looking at his relaxed demeanor, Braelyn wished she could snap the man’s neck and get it over with.

How could he just sit there and allow a shrew from nowhere to come and insult her on such a day like that?

“Tch! You think that by looking at him, he would help you?” the luxuriously dressed woman snickered after seeing how Braelyn was looking at the man. “He is mine; do you hear me? We are expecting a baby already. So, I would advise you, you fake woman, a freak of a person, to leave my man alone. Otherwise, the consequences would be dire!”

And that shattered everything.

Braelyn raised her head in shock as she looked at the young woman she had met for the first time today during her third anniversary with her boyfriend, who was sitting across her and yet didn’t seem to care much about her.

“You are what?” she asked with a trembling voice as she looked at the home wrecker, who wasn’t only shameless to confront her in public but utter such embarrassing news.

“Brae, you heard her. We are expecting a child. I didn’t think that you would be so slow-witted to not catch the hints I have been throwing at you all this while. Even if you are desperate, you can’t go on latching onto someone who doesn’t love you!” Braelyn’s boyfriend said icily as he looked at Braelyn as if he was looking at a discarded thing.

Braelyn could see the disgust and immersed hatred and dislike he had for her. And to think that before, the same person who was busy telling her so many hurtful words was promising her the world. Why was this all happening?

“Richard, you ….. how could you do this to me? Don’t you know what day this is?” Braelyn, no longer caring about her image since she had already been embarrassed in public, yelled angrily at him.

Richard scoffed as he looked at the girl, who didn’t even know how to dress properly and make herself look presentable.

He understood that she was poor and wasn’t well off, but did she really think that she deserved to stand by his side even when dressed like that?

“Hehe, Brae, for our past relationship. I hope that you will mind your words and accept this outcome. You wouldn’t want me to get angry!” he growled at her, glaring at her with that familiar gaze that always made her shudder and tremble with fear.

“You heard the man, Brae. You need to stop being delusional. If I ever see you anywhere near my man, I will deal not only with you but with your family too. Do you think that your measly money can match with mine? I have everything he could ask for, but what about you?”

Braelyn’s hands shook beneath the table as every single word her boyfriend’s mistress or girlfriend threw at her really hurt.

Yes, she wasn’t rich, and these two were much better than her. But why were they including her family when they were the ones who were wrong in the first place?

“Is that what you really want? We have spent three years, Richard, and just because I am a freak, as you say, I am no longer worthy of you. Who was it who pursued me despite being a freak? Weren’t you the one who promised me the world and how you would love me till eternity? Just because she is a real woman, and I am considered not, you bully me today and embarrass me on our supposed anniversary day. If you no longer loved me, why didn’t you just break up with me amicably and not cause a scene like you and your mistress are doing right now?” Braelyn emotionally questioned as tears streamed down her cheeks.

Despite wearing glasses, even those seated tables away could see how red her eyes had become. Without making a sound, she cried silently while confronting the adulterers.

“Tch! You should be happy that Richard even paid you attention. With a structure like that, a freak like you, do you think that you are worthy of anyone’s love?” the girlfriend sarcastically said, sizing Braelyn with a smirk on her face.

“Babe, forget about her. She is already troubled. Otherwise, why would she go around parading like a woman when she isn’t?”

“You …. are you supporting her?”

“Nancy, my dear. How can I support you? I just don’t want you to stress yourself. You need to pay heed to our baby!” Richard said coaxingly as he looked affectionately at Nancy.

Braelyn watched all that like a bystander and every single second she spent while sitting there, she felt as if she was being cut a thousand cuts.

Her heart ached, everything just hurt, and she was going crazy.

“Umph, at least you know!” Nancy harrumphed as she raised her chin up while giving Braelyn a provocative look.

Seeing that he had been forgiven, Richard smiled enthusiastically at his girl before he went cold as he looked back at the person, he had spent three years with.

“This will be the last time. Don’t ever call me again, otherwise the consequences will be dire!” Richard warned Braelyn as he stood up from the chair.

“Freaks should be associated with freaks. Always remember that!” Nancy tauntingly said as she hooked her arm with Richard, the two ready to leave.

“You …”

“You have been warned, Brae! Stay clear in your lane!” Richard warned without looking back, leaving Braelyn.

Watching the two leave, Braelyn cussed under her breath, her eyes blazing red, “Scumbag!”
