43 Chapter 44 - Jealousy

There was something different with Bian this morning. His happy smile invited people to pay attention to him. Employees often compared his new character with how he walked with the employees in the past. In the past, when he walked with employees, he felt like none of them exist. He preferred to put on an emotionless facial expression when meeting them. However, these days a smile always showed on his lips, especially this morning.

Bian stood in front of the dedicated elevator for the directors. His eyes were watching Mumut walking towards the employee elevator. Mumut seemed to be chatting intimately with a male cleaning service. Bian saw that the man was very concerned about Mumut even though Mumut appeared to keep a distance from him. Bian's heart was boiling when the elevator door opened, and the two of them entered it with several other employees. From the man's gaze, Bian could tell that the man liked his wife.

Bian did not immediately enter, even though the elevator door next to him was open. He was still staring at the employee elevator door until Randy came.

"Morning, boss," he said with a bright smile. Randy followed Bian's gaze, and his smile grew wider. "Why, boss?"

"There was a man who was too friendly with Mutiara," hissed Bian.

Randy smiled a little seeing what Bian said. Could it be that Bian started to like Mumut and felt jealous of Mumut's male friend? The elevator door opened again. Bian and Randy immediately entered it.

"The boss's wife is quite friendly with a lot of people here," Randy immediately guessed where Bian's conversation was directed to.

"Earlier, a man wore a cleaning service uniform seemed to be so close with Mumut, find out who he is?" Bian couldn't cover up his jealousy, making Randy have to hold back his smile so the boss didn't get angrier.

Ting!

The elevator's door opened, and Bian headed straight to his room. Randy chuckled. It seemed that the little girl had managed to turn Bian's heart away from Ristie, and it didn't take long for her to do so. It appeared that Bian began to fall in love with the girl to order him this trivial task.

Randy immediately walked to the pantry, and he saw Hari was there with Mumut and Harti. Mumut was getting ready to change her clothes with a cleaning service uniform.

"Good morning, sir!" they greeted Randy almost simultaneously.

"Is there something I could help you with, sir?" asked Hari with a smile.

Randy just smiled, his gaze fixed on Mumut, who just smiled while nodding at him and then walked towards the locker room. Randy also saw Hari, who was watching Mumut, and smiled softly at Mumut. Randy immediately concluded that the man Bian was referring to was Hari.

"Mutiara, the CEO asked you to come to his room immediately!" Randy said before Mumut entered the locker room then just walked away from the room.

Randy's cold tone took Hari and Harti by surprise. They were afraid that Mumut had made some mistakes because the CEO often summoned Mumut. After all, the quality of her work has decreased compared to her work in the past. Bian always saw the slightest mistake made by Mumut, and he wasn't hesitant to complain about it. They thought maybe it was because her mother was sick, making Mumut became less concentrated in doing her job. In the end, she made many mistakes that caused the CEO to call her out. Harti became even more anxious when she realized that The CEO should reprimand her if her subordinates made mistakes in doing their job because she was the office boy's coordinator and cleaning service here.

Meanwhile, in the changing room, Mumut couldn't hide her big smile at Randy's orders. Since Mumut asked permission to work after they got married, almost every day Bian would call her into his room either to kiss him or even make love there.

After marrying Bian, Mumut found out that Bian was both ignorant and ridiculous. Bian liked to prank Mumut and make her laugh. His attitude when he was with Mumut was very relaxed and not as severe as what Mumut had seen before when he was in the office either alone or with other staff.

Exiting the changing room, Mumut immediately went to Bian's room after ensuring two of her colleagues that everything would be fine. Passing the secretarial room, Mumut smiled and asked Bian's secretary named Via.

"Is the CEO in his room, ma'am?"

"Yes, he is discussing something with Mr. Randy. What's wrong?"

"Earlier, Mr. Randy said that the President Director asked me to come to his room,"

"What is it about?" Via looked at Mumut with concern, "Is there anything dirty needs to be cleaned, or is there something else that makes the DEO dissatisfied with your work?"

"I don't know, ma'am." Mumut swallowed hard. She was afraid Via suspected that there was a personal relationship between Bian and herself.

"Be careful, Mut. Lately, the CEO often complains about your work," Bian's secretary warned Mumut. A few days later Bian often complained that the room was still dirty or the coffee cup was not the right size and other things, Bian would tell her to contact Mumut to come to his room.

"Yes, ma'am. Thank you."

"I don't know what happened to you now, but before this, you have always been our priority. Cheer up!" Via patted Mumut's back gently.

Mumut didn't know whether to feel funny or touched by Via's words.
