17 I'LL DO IT ALL WITH YOU

Ariana looked at the man walking beside her. He asked her to accompany him for a walk, but he hadn't spoken yet since they left the house. Did he ask her out because he was troubled about something? Was it about his brother?

"You went to see your brother this morning right? Did anything happen?" Arianna couldn't help but probe. "Can you share it with me? I don't like seeing you troubled."

Yago turned to the woman and smiled. He then stretched his arm and pulled her to a hug. "I'm just sad that I have to leave you. And I'm very worried about you. Please, miss me!"

Arianna's face felt hot, but she still responded without struggling from his embrace.

"Of course I'll miss you. You've never been away from me. Maybe it's you would forget about me when you see how pretty girls are in your country." she teased him to lighten up the mood.

Yago let go of her and stared straight into her eyes. "Of course not. My first times are all with you. I've reserved them all for you. I won't share it with other women!"

Arianna blushed even more, but her stubborn personality won't let her lose to anyone so she battled with his stare and teased him back.

"Then what about the second times? third times, and everything that follows? Only first times belonged to me?" she joked with a straight forward face.

Yago chuckled.

"I'll do it all with you!"

Arianna slapped his shoulder.

"Shameless! What were you planning to do with me!" Embarrassed, she then continued walking, leaving Yago behind.

Yago watched her back. "I mean it... All my first times will be with you." he whispered. He just hoped that Arianna's firsts will be his, too.

Right.

The night they were together, nothing actually happened to them beyond kissing. He didn't want to take her while she was in that state. She was far too precious to him. But his selfishness didn't allow him to reveal the truth to her. He wanted to occupy her mind, even if he couldn't take over her heart.

"Sir,"

From behind Yago, a man came running holding a small box.

"Sir, I've already retrieved the item from Mr.Vier."

he informed.

Yago nodded as the man passed the box to him. "Come with me." He ordered before walking towards Arianna not so far away.

Arianna looked behind to see Yago catching up. Behind him, a man wearing black pants and black jacket followed. Arianna furrowed her brows. He had never seen that man before.

"Rian, this is Tiger. I'll leave him here to protect you."

Arianna studied the man with scrutinizing eyes. The man's body stiffened as he was being scanned by her intimidating stare. She surveyed him for a while before lifting a corner of her lips. "Were you the one who bought the baby pink dress?" she asked teasing.

Tiger gasped but hurriedly pointed his finger at the man beside him.

"Sir chose it!" he exclaimed.

Yago glared at his subordinate. Did this punk just sold him out? What was he being pale and nervous for? Was Rian that scary? He's even more scared at her than at Yago who's his real boss!

"Leave!" he shouted as he glared at the man. Tiger complied immediately and hurriedly left. He didn't want any more scolding.

"I like him!" Arianna said laughing. She watched as Yago glared at her, too. She laughed even more seeing him look sullen.

"What do you mean by that!" he couldn't but ask. However, Arianna only smiled at him as she continued to tease him. "I'll leave Tiger and Viper to you. They'll protect you while I'm gone. But promise me not to get too close to the both of them!" he said, putting an arm around her shoulders. He then fished out a small box from his pocket and put it on Arianna's palm.

Arianna's brows raised in amusement when she saw the box. She opened it and found a simple ring. It was a white gold ring with something engraved inside. 'Yago, heart, Rian, forever'

Yago smiled when he saw Arianna looked up with questioning eyes.

"That's to remind you that I will always love you forever. Keep it if you take me as a brother. Wear it if you choose to take me as your man."

Those words left Arianna speechless. She closed the box and held it in her hand. Yago might be disappointed but at the moment, he knew, she has no intention to wear his ring just yet.

***

It was a bright day.

Dianna stared at the birds playing near her window. She remembered that her daughter likes watching these birds when she was young. She would bring her pink binoculars while strolling around the house and watch as the birds fly towards the windows. She even got her a small camera to take pictures of them. She said she will be like those birds. Free and unbound. She will lead her life the way she wanted to.

Dianna smiled. She wondered when she'll have a chance to see her again.

"Dianna."

The woman turned to look. There, she saw a man dressed in a dark blue suit. He was standing at the door, looking her way. When she smiled, the man came running in her arms.

"Your awake! This is good."

The man hugged her tightly. How long did she not see him? It looked like he aged a few years more.

"Carl..." she called his name. She missed him...

Carl... the man she loved during her youth. In fact, he was the only man she loved. They two grew up together. They were engaged since they were children, yet he fell for someone else. Now, this man's here hugging him tightly. Did he miss her, too?

"How are you, Carl?" she managed to ask.

Carl's words were stuck in his throat. It had been five years; five years since he last talk to Dianna. He owed her so much, and he wanted to make it up to her so much yet for the past five years, he thought he would never be given a chance. He had lost all of. They were even planning to give up on her after her forty first birthday which was about to happen in a month. He was glad, he was very glad she woke up before they remove her life support!

"You know, I've rested well. Can I see my daughter soon?" he heard her say.

Carl let go of Dianna and sat beside her. "Sure. After you recover, I'll take you home with me." he promised as he caressed her hair. Whenever he look at Dianna, guilt come drowning hid heart. When his parents gave Jane money to leave him, she took it and disappeared. He though, never gave up. He searched for her and when he found Jane, he ran away with her. He abandoned his loving fiancee who was then pregnant with his child. It was the biggest mistake he ever did in his life. Now that she's awake, he needs to compensate her even more. He will rebuild his family. They will be together. Him, his wife, and his only daughter.
