17 AMETSA ALWAYS REJECT IT

Even during his work, Daniel never stopped thinking about a figure sitting at the other end of the room, which made the man lose his focus a little.

Jilly, who had been calling him earlier, was now chuckling when he found out that the person in front of him was currently daydreaming like that, which made him shake his head at the sight.

"Daniel, how can you work like this? You're only going to bankrupt my business."

The man immediately turned around after awakening from his daydream then found his cousin who was currently silently watching him.

"There's a lot of customers coming in, so don't daydream too much, Daniel."

"I know," Daniel said with his head down and his hands resting on the wall. Only then did he resume his work and serve some orders that came with Jilly's help.

Since then, Jilly has been watching the movements of his cousin, which made the man sigh for a moment.

"You talk to me if you want," he offered with one hand currently patting his brother's shoulder. "I will gladly listen to your concerns."

Daniel who was baking bread immediately sighed and said, "Thank you, but I'm fine."

Hearing the words of his brother made Jilly shake his head. The man sighed before finally looking at Daniel's departure who was delivering orders.

Jilly scratched his temple with a furrowed brow. He was a little confused about what happened to the man today which made him worry that Daniel would mess things up.

"Don't worry, I will work properly this time," said Daniel, who had suddenly returned. "You go to your room."

Again Jilly looked at the person in front of him now with narrowed eyes and hands-on his waist.

"Are you sure?" he asked curiously. "Don't know why, I feel like you're a little off today."

Daniel who was washing the dishes immediately sighed, then turned his body towards where Jilly was with his hands tucked into his apron pockets while looking at his brother expressionlessly.

"You're afraid I'll destroy your Cafe, aren't you? Fine, I promise I won't mess it up this time, but..."

Jilly, who had been in front of him all this time, was still staring at his brother listening to what someone in front of him would say next.

"Even if I messed it up, you can ask me for the damages later."

His words suddenly made Jilly's eyes widen, then snorted in annoyance while turning his face the other way.

"I know that Uncle Hanzo is very rich, but you don't have to say that to me."

The corners of his lips pulled up, Daniel smiled at his brother who couldn't speak anymore.

"Are you still worried about it now?" he asked with raised eyebrows. "Then just tell me the truth, I don't mind."

"No, just get on with your work. I'm going to the room."

After that Daniel saw Jilly who immediately turned around and left him alone in the kitchen.

Now he had to do everything right by himself because he didn't want to get Ametsa in trouble just because the girl couldn't come to work.

"Ametsa, what are you doing now?" he mumbled and sighed. "This is crazy, I can't stop thinking about it."

Then Daniel pinched the bridge of his nose for a moment before finally saying something that made him sigh.

"This is crazy, I really can't stop thinking about it. She... is going on a date?"

On the other hand, currently, Hanzo and Meyra were on the edge of the bed with their eyes looking at a girl who was currently lying down making him sigh for a moment.

"Ametsa, how are you now?" asked Hanzo with one hand currently rubbing the top of the girl's head. "You know what? I was really worried about you."

The girl who heard it immediately pursed the corners of her lips upwards. It also makes Meyra and Hanzo feel like adopting Ametsa as their daughter, but Ametsa always refuses.

"Uncle, I'll be fine. Trust me, I'll be back at work soon so you don't have to worry about me like this."

Hanzo immediately sighed hearing what the person in front of him had just said. While Meyra is now looking deeply at the girl with affection.

"Ametsa, you'd better come live with us. I'll make you my daughter, come with us."

The girl is currently looking at Meyra with a smile that never fades, then one hand touches one of the woman's cheeks with a slow stroke.

"Thank you, I'm glad that you guys care about me and that's more than enough for me. Sorry, I can't take it."

Hanzo and Meyra were used to hearing answers like this from the girl's mouth, but whenever Ametsa needed her, they would help her because the girl had no one else in her life.

"Well, then you should eat first. You must not have eaten, right?"

Ametsa immediately nodded her head with a smile that still hadn't disappeared. Meanwhile, Meyra who saw it now returned her smile.

"Okay, I'll make something for you," she said to the girl. Then turned to where her husband was and said again, "Hanzo, please watch over her for a while, I'll be right back."

Hanzo also nodded in response to the words spoken by the woman who had now left the room. Then turned to Ametsa who was currently smiling at him.

"Uncle," called Ametsa. "I miss my dad so much."

The next second he saw Ametsa shedding tears, which made the man who knew about it immediately sigh. His eyes looked at the girl who was currently crying very pitifully, the girl also made him immediately take Ametsa into his arms.

"I told you, Ametsa," Hanzo paused with his eyes closed hugging the girl. "I can be a father to you forever because I will always be there for you."

After that Hanzo again felt the girl's whole body vibrate making the man feel what a girl like Ametsa felt.

It had never occurred to him that little Ametsa could survive in a House of this size alone with or without someone to be with him at all times.

No wonder, maybe at that time Daniel's presence was very meaningful to Ametsa.
