143 Principal Waters

Saint Timothy' school San Francisco.

Li Jun was greeted by the principal as soon as he entered the pricipal's room.

"Mr Li, I am Thankful for your time today. I am the principal of the institute , George Waters." They shook hands. Li Jun did not introduce himself.

"I had not realised that Mr Li is Katherine and Tianna's father. Please, have a seat". The renowned principal said full of respect. Earlier he had not known that the Chinese man coming to his office today was the billionaire Mr Li.

After all, there were many Lis in the world. But after he saw the man surrounded by bodyguards, get off from the car from his office window and noticed the platinum hair, he realised that the Mr Li he had summoned from a very busy schedule was indeed the very Mr Li he was afraid of. It was too late to cancel.

The principal was a little confused. But wasn't Mr Li too young to have kids this age and the girl's documents had said nothing about an adoption. This was weird. Maybe the young billionaire had sowed his wild oats in his young days, he concluded. yep that had to be it.

After all, he could see a little resemblance between the girls and Mr Li himself.

" Hmmm. I am sorry, T has caused you trouble again. I will transfer her to another school immediately" Li Jun sat down at the head of the sofa seat, a practice deeply ingrained into his habits.

The principal let the gesture slide. He knew when someone had overpowered him.

"Mr Li, it is not a bit deal.She does not need to transfer at all. She is but a child. She will do better in the future, I am sure of it."

Principal Waters was full of praise for T as he elaborated on all her good points. He kept praising both K and T about their good academic results until his secretary brought in the refreshments he had ordered as soon as he had seen the esteemed guest.

" Mr Li I am not sure about your tastes but please enjoy this caviar and pearl breads with your tea"

This tea was a very expensive Chinese tea that he himself drank only once a month and he was hoping to please Mr Li further with it. So far Mr Li seemed harmless enough.

He did not seem like the smooth business man everyone feared him to be.He was a normal dad, apparently.

Li Jun studied the tea for a while and looked at the smiling principal.

"Mr Waters." Li Jun said with a drawl. "Why do I have a feeling as though you have called me all the way from China to drink tea with you?" Li Jun had no expression on his face.

Mr Waters' heart thumped in his chest.

"No, of course not Mr Li. I am sorry. I know you are a busy man. Katherine is a good child and even Tianna is a brilliant child but I am afraid Tianna has some issues that we wanted to talk to you about.

Li Jun nodded. This was why he had travelled so far and away from his sick wife.

"Tianna has been causing problems for a long time now. But that's not why I wanted to meet you personally. She has been having destructive tendencies, I am afraid" The principal paused.

Li Jun looked at his watch and said irritably when the principal paused for a second longer than he liked.

"I haven't got all day mr Waters" He still had not picked up the expensive tea.

"Yes." The principal picked up a pink paper from his side table and passed it near Li Jun. "This is a report given to me by the school psychiatric department. It clearly states their analysis of Tianna's mental health. Also when I question some of her classmates... " The principal hesitated a little again.

Li Jun raised an eyebrow. He was just about to read the report.

".... I was told that Tianna even tried to commit suicide a few times". The principal was also startled when he had first heard about this.

Li Jun paused and looked at the principal.

" I hope I can see some proof about your claims Mr Waters " Li Jun tried to keep away the warning in his tone. He could not believe T would do such a thing. Hadn't he given the girls whatever they wanted. He had bought them whatever amused them. They had spent more than a normal employees' lifetime earnings only in a few months. He had allowed that. T could not do that. He would have heard of it from Dr Sam.

YET! The proof was in his hands. The psych report said that Tianna was a very intelligent child with a very high IQ. Tianna hated been called Tianna, she'd rather be called T - a single alphabet. She showed aggressive tendencies. She had obsessive and compulsive tendencies. An obsession with also talking about her "great" father from China, about a new stepmother that she had not yet met.

Li Jun read on, his eyes darting on the pages.

SUICIDAL AND HIGHLY DISTURBED. The report summarized.

Immediately Li Jun stood up.

"I would like to see my children" He ordered.

Just then a gentle knock came and the door opened slightly.

K timidly poked her head inside and looked around the room , landing her eyes on Li Jun. She gave an embarrassed smile and took her head back out without closing the door.

Li Jun heard her whisper " Yes, he really is inside with the principal"

The door suddenly burst open and T entered like an Amazonian queen, followed shyly by her twin. They were wearing uniforms and looked identical but everyone who knew them could differentiate between the timid looking girl and the girl who was energetic in all she did.

"PAPA!" T cried loudly with emotion.

"Hello dad. It's been a long time" K said in mandarin and bowed like a good daughter. She also apologized to the nervous looking principal.

T had already ran over before Li Jun could ask them about their unruly behaviour. T immediately Jumped into Li Jun's arms hugging him close, still bawling her eyes out.

K watched. Also with wet eyes.
