140 Moving in

"This herb I tell you Jun er, it is the best!. If a man takes it, their sperm count increases substantially and also becomes very strong. It is such an amazing herb. The sperm also shoots far ,for better insemination. But unfortunately we can't get it here. I had to asked my friend from Antarctica to send it to me for you" Uncle Kao explained dreamily. " How was it? Does it shoot far?" Uncle Kao asked for confirmation from his test subject.

Li Jun nodded dumbly. It was indeed much more than usual, even though he never had a problem before. He had thought that it was because he had been celibate for a few days.

"Good, good. It will help in getting Yu Yan pregnant later on." Uncle Kao said as his assistant brought the medicine.

Li Jun had to feed Yu Yan all the medicines via mouth to mouth since she might spit it out in reflex.

After taking the medicine, Yu Yan's expression became calmer and she seemed to only be asleep unlike earlier.

Li Jun began to gently massage her fingers.

"I am impressed with you Li Jun. You barely passed my test" Uncle Kao said suddenly from his seat.

Li Jun turned to face him from his seat beside his wife.

Li Jun just looked at him expressionlessly.

Not getting the desired reactions or questions from Li Jun uncle Kao went to explain himself.

"I wanted to see if you would kill me, if I ever made a mistake with you or Yu Yan" Uncle Kao stood up and went closer to Li Jun. " I am glad you didn't get me killed..even though I deserved it in your eyes. Of course you are still heartless for hanging me but still..." Uncle Kao patted Li Jun's back.

Li Jun didn't say anything. He would never have killed uncle Kao.

"It means, you think of me as your real family. See Jun er, I have no children of my own but your father treated me like his real older brother. And I, in turn, thought of you as my nephew. I love you as my own son even. That makes Yu Yan my daughter in law." Kao looked down at the sleeping little girl and smiled. "But, ever since you found out about your dad's murderer... you have put up this wall.. this distrust. It's fine to be like that but I don't want you to do that with me. I will never hurt you ,because you are my son.. you understand?" Uncle Kao said a little harshly as he remembered the barrier Li Jun had always built up around him and against his many tries ,never reciprocated his feelings.

"I never distrusted you," Li Jun said after a while.

"Really? IS THAT WHY YOU LEFT ME HANGING FROM THE CEILING ALL NIGHT?" Uncle Kao yelled still unsatisfied.

"Sssshhh. Yu Yan is sleeping" Li Jun shushed the older man. " Also I am sorry. I do tend to overthink it sometimes." Li Jun apologised.

"Hhumm... I know that without you telling me. You have been weird since childhood but you got worst after you lost your dad. I don't want you to do that with me."

Li Jun nodded.

"You will forever be a child to me Jun er. You can come to me for help anytime. I will not refuse you. But you need to give me the love and respect I deserve..the trust."

Li Jun nodded again.

Uncle Kao was satisfied and walked back to his seat.

"I have no one but you in my old age Jun er. " The old man said in a sad voice.

"We will take care of you " Came the stoic response.

Uncle Kao burst out laughing.

"Hahhahahah. Jun er, you know, if I had this discussion with you three years ago, I dont think you would have stayed long enough to even listen to my first sentence"

Li Jun gave back a sincere smile back. " I wouldn't" he agreed.

"Yu Yan has change you. In a very good way. You seem more human now" Uncle smiled at Li Jun's chastised face. He was only 26 years old, only a kid who had to grow up too fast.

"I know". Li Jun squeezed his wife's hand gently.

" Don't worry about Yan er. She will be fine. I will make sure to heal her. It will take time but it will happen."

Li Jun nodded.

" Also you need to tell her everything soon. A relationship can't progress without honesty"

Li Jun did not nod this time and uncle Kao let it go realising he had already scolded him enough for today.

"By the way, I am moving in permanently"

Li Jun stilled for a while and nodded.

Uncle Kao smiled brightly at him. Not expecting his compliance. Uncle Kao decided to beat the iron while it was still hot.

"Where will I live? Of course not in the guest room. I have many stuff to bring with me" He said cheerfully.

" You can talk to Yu Yan about it" Li Jun shrugged.

"Hummm... that will be better" Uncle Kao could not wait to move in. It would be the first time in his life to live with his family.

Li Jun was quiet for awhile.Then he turned again to look into uncle Kao's eyes.

"Is it.." Li Jun hesitated. " Is it possible for Yu Yan and I to ever have a child?" Li Jun did not want to be given false hopes.

Uncle Kao thought seriously and answered.

"Yes"
