Yu Yan had basically fallen into Li Jun's trap. He had orchestrated the entire thing in order to get Yu Yan to open up .

They had been Married for nearly two months already and still Yu Yan had not told him anything about her past.

He knew about the money she was secretly sending to the orphanage in B rural province in rural China. He made an accurate guess that, that place was where Yu Yan had been abandoned by her parents.

Still he felt, she would not say anything about it at all to him if she could help it... so a little manipulation and a setting of the stage was in order.

He had specifically brought pamphlets from only well established charities to make her see that if she really wanted to help the orphanage, she needed to come to him.
