164 Christmas at the Cemetery 2

" So this and that happened. I can't say all the details because... someone might hear?" Li Jun chuckled cheerlessly towards where his old bodyguard laid dead.

"I am being forced by my wife to do stupid things" He complained in a whisper. "Peare, if you were here, you would have being satisfied watching my wife bully me everyday. She comes up with ways everyday to torture me physically and mentally.". He gave a grin. "She knows that she's got me in deep, so she pushes my boundaries and I, like an idiot just let her. But then again, maybe I am a masochist. hahhaha..I find her so adorable when she scolds and beats me. " Li Jun lamented in a whisper. "Also, you know Peare, lately I find the internal fights in the family to be bone tiring. Can't I just give up and surrender and go somewhere where no one knows me and Yu Yan? I feel like that would be peaceful for me and her." Li Jun laughed at the absurdness of that thought. Every report of people trying to implant bombs in his cars or assasins caught made his blood boil in rage. He had too many enemies and some he didn't even know about. His thoughts got interrupted.

He rolled his eyes in great annoyance and drew his guns at the speed of light.

"Show yourselves". Li Jun growled a warning, unlocking the safety in both guns at the same time.

A Slight rustling of branches and a tall, muscular man stepped out.

" It's only me sir." Greg responded in his gruff voice, coming out from the line of trees. He was followed timidly by two little girls.

"Father."

"Daddy".

The girls said at the same time.

Li Jun arched an eyebrow in askance.

" I picked up the girls from the airport just now, sir." Greg said scratching his head guiltily. "I also did not know until they called me this morning."

"Surprise!?". T said a little scared. Li Jun had never allowed them to visit without any prior notice. But it was not like it was their first time doing so. He would have said no even if they had asked anyways.

" Father, we came for uncle Peare's dead anniversary. Please forgive us." The stoic K said and bowed respectfully.

Seeing that both the girls had oriental black dress on, he could only believe them. Li Jun turned on the safety and tugged the guns back, underneath his long coat.

" Your mother is nearby." Li Jun said as K placed an old scotch which was Peare's favorite beside his grave.

"We know that daddy, that's why we came in through the back gates. We are not THAT stupid." T Got back her courage and skipped towards Li Jun. "Merry Christmas daddy" She chirped.

" mm. Merry Christmas " Li Jun said distractedly.

Greg also looked towards Peare's grave and laid down some flowers. A wash of emotions flashed across his face as he remembered his mentor but he quickly recovered his calm.

"Send the girls back after you are done here. And you girls ,don't pull this stunt again." Li Jun said calmly and looked at his watch again. This should be more than enough for Yu Yan. " I am going ahead." He turned to go.

"Wait, father." T said in a hurry, running after her adoptive father.

"Daddy, we planned to stay. It's..its actually vacation time right now.." T said with a pout.

"What?." Li Jun raised an eyebrow, still as calm as ever. " Go back to San Francisco right now. " Li Jun said and moved again.

"Father, Doctor Paul and his family have gone to Hawaii for a vacation already." K joined from the side. " The nannies and maids have all taken their leave too." She added bowing her head.

Li Jun watched the girls, unhappy about their trick. Still, Yu Yan could come in at any moment and the lies he had told, he was not yet ready to face.

"Nicely played." Li Jun smirk towards K. The younger one was bad but the older one was worst.

Seeing his smile, K shuddered and bowed her head down again.

"Father, I am sorry. It's just that we missed you and mom." K accepted the charges easily.

Li Jun was not appeased at all but he was tight on time. He had wasted too much time. Soon his wife would begin to worry.

"Sir, Madam is on her way here." Greg said as he received a transmission from his earpiece. But before he could say more, Li Jun was already sprinting away.

K and T looked at each other and gave a sigh of relief. They looked at each other then began to giggle, 'hi-fiving' each other.

[Author's note : Peare Osei was the old bodyguard from the back story of K and T(San Francisco). He was the bodyguard of Li Jun's father and then Li Jun's. Li Jun had a grudge with him that his father died under Peare's watch.]
