121 A worried wife.

Yu Yan was beyond worried. Li Jun had not woken up once and it was already evening. Li Jun's face had gotten back some of his warmer tones but he had yet to show any sign of waking up.

This wouldn't do.Yu Yan was getting more and more worried. She needed to go asked uncle Kao about it. Wouldn't it be best to send him to a hospital? She got up from her seat with these thoughts ringing in her mind.

"Jun Jun, I will just go and speak with uncle okay? Don't worry, I will be right back" Yu Yan kissed his forehead gently and walked out of the room in search of uncle Kao.

As soon as the sounds of Yu Yan's steps faded, Li Jun rushed to the bathroom to relieve his bladder.

He was so hungry as well. The enema did nothing to him, which was lucky. Otherwise, he would have needed to teach the rotten old man a lesson.. no, the lesson was needed regardless... Li Jun smirked as he looked at himself in the bathroom mirror.

He fixed himself up to look sickly while still maintaining his good looks for his wife and ran back to his bed again.

He really wanted to sit and talk with his beautiful wife or at least get some office-work done.

He was so bored in bed.

It took a long time for Yu Yan to find uncle Kao.

Finally, a maid pointed her in the right direction.

"Uncle?" Yu Yan said to uncle Kao who was munching on some potato chips as he sat in Li Jun's massive library. He looked like a miniature adult surrounded by thousand and thousands of books all around him.

"Yan er, come here. Have you seen all these treasures in your home? I bet you haven't. Come, Come, uncle will show you some rare treasures" He pointed towards a book on anatomy written by an old sage from India. The book even contained lost ancient techniques used to resuscitate a human body without the use of modern instruments. Dr Kao was in heaven.

Yu Yan was not interested.

"Uncle, how can you continue to sit here comfortably, while Li Jun is in this state?" Yu Yan said a little impolitely.

"Why, what happened to Jun" Uncle Kao kept forgetting.

"He looks a little better after I gave him the medicine but he has still not wakened up yet" Yu Yan misunderstood uncle Kao's slip.

"Ah..yes!" Uncle Kao just remembered why he was here in the first place. "He will wake up when he is ready" what could he say? A person could wake a man who was sleeping but not a man who was not sleeping.

"Uncle, let's take him to a hospital," Yu Yan said.

"No no my child. He will be fine soon.Dont worry. You can't move him too much" Uncle Kao said looking away , his face full of guilt. Suddenly he received a text from the 'patient' upstairs.

[ Remind her to take her medicine]

Uncle Kao coughed. "Humm... Yan er, take your medicine before you go to bed.Dont forget"

Yu Yan nodded. She needed to stay strong for Li Jun.

Yu Yan left the room unable to do anything more. She was not the medical expert, so she could only give in.

LATE AT NIGHT IN MOON PALACE

~Sob~sob~

Yu Yan softly cried as she hugged her husband.What would she do, if he.. She should not have gone outside today and should have stayed with him, maybe he wouldn't have fallen sick if she had stayed and taken care of him.

She should have made him come home on time instead of over working everyday.She should have been more possesive like the other wives. Her tears fell onto her pillow as she hugged Li Jun.

"Yu Yan?" Li Jun coughed.

Yu Yan immediately sat up and turned on the lights.

"Honey, are you okay? How are you feeling?" Yu Yan wiped her tears away and looked into Li Jun's opened eyes. Relief flowing in waves into her body.

Li Jun spoke in a sickly voice. " Why are you crying? what happened?"

"Huh? no i am not crying.Tell me. Do you need anything? Wait let me call uncle Kao" Yu Yan jumped from the bed before Li Jun could stop her.

Soon she returned with a sleepy uncle in tow.

"Uncle look. He is awake. Check if he will be okay now" Yu Yan urged Uncle Kao, pushing the old man towards Li Jun.

The old doctor looked to be deep in thought.

Wasn't the plan to stay in a comatose state for two to three days and then pretend to get better slowly?

What should he say now? Uncle Kao look towards Li Jun.

"Check my vitals. Also I am really hungry" Li Jun only said to no one in particular.

Yu Yan perked up by the sound of that.

"I will go get you something to eat immediately " She ran away happily.

"Hey? Wasn't the plan for you to stay in a comatose state for some more days?" Uncle Kao said to Li Jun.

"I got bored just pretending to sleep" He said because how could he say that he didn't want Yu Yan crying anymore.

"Tskk..You didn't even last a day. No determination at all" Uncle scolded because, if Li Jun was well again , he would be made to return back to his lonely mansion. He wanted to stay here with Li Jun and Yu Yan for a few more days.

"Shut up and listen.You need to tell her that I am still unwell and that she needs to personally take care of me for a few more days. Give me some more herbal medicines and stop her from giving me the enema again. If you don't agree, or try to play anymore dirty tricks....you can go back to your home. You don't know me and i don't know you" Li Jun stared at the old man to let him know that he was serious.

Uncle Kao nodded obediently.
