A girl stepping her feet a little hastily, while carrying a folder containing documents in her hand.

She bumped someone so that make her fell along with the folder she was carrying.

Hurriedly she picked up a few sheets of paper that had fallen on the floor, then she put them back in the folder.

"Walk with carefully, don't be in such a hurry" said someone who was hit by her.

Slowly, she raised her head to look at that person. And she could see, a man in neat uniform, who was standing right in front of her.

Immediately she rose from her position, and lowered her head, "Yes, I'm sorry," she said.

"Wait, I never saw you before. Are you a new employee here?" said the man, looking at her and frowning.

With her head still lowered, the girl said, "That's right, I'm a new employee here".

"So you are the new employee," said the man, who looked indifferent, and looked away, "Your name is Maureen, right?" he continued, folding his arms across his chest.

"Yes, my name is Maureen Holmes," replied the girl, still bowing her head.

"A new employee but already made trouble with her boss" sneered the man, rolling his eyes.

Slowly, Maureen raised her head to look at the man, then in her heart, she said, "So, this man is Arthur Griffin, the boss of this company."

"Why are you silent?" said the man, bringing Maureen out of her reverie.

"Sorry sir, I didn't know that you are the boss in this company. And please forgive me, because I have bumped into you accidentally" said Maureen, bowing her head again.

"Okay, for now I'm forgive you. But next time, you have to be careful, and also don't be careless!" said the man, staring at Maureen with a gaze, which seemed to hate her.

Immediately Maureen nodded, without daring to look at the man, who was indeed her boss, "Y-Yes sir, I'm sorry once again, and I promise I won't be careless like this again," she said.

But the man just nodded his head, and immediately left, without saying anything.

With a heavy Maureen sighed and lifted her head, "First day of work, but I've made trouble with my boss," she muttered, turning her head back, and watching her boss's back, which was starting to disappear. Then, she continued her steps again.

"How was your first day work at here? Are you comfortable?" asked a woman, looking at Maureen from the side.

"I don't know" Maureen replied, shaking her head, without turning to the woman, who was her co-worker.

Hearing Maureen's answer, made the woman named Sophie McLean confused, and frowned, "Don't know? Why don't you know?" she asked.

"Because on my first day at work, I made a mistake on our boss," replied Maureen, who still didn't turn to look at Sophie.

"Made a mistake to our boss? You mean Mr. Arthur?" Sophie asked, and Maureen immediately nodded her head, "If I may know, what have you done wrong to him?" she continued, who looked curious.

"Earlier I accidentally bumped into him, then he said that I was careless" Maureen replied, remembering the incident.

"Then, did he scold you?" Sophie asked again, without taking her eyes off her coworker.

Immediately Maureen shook her head, and said, "No, it's just that he looks as if he doesn't like me."

Sophie immediately sighed, and turned her gaze forward, "Mr. Arthur is like that, always looks cold, but it is natural, because he is the boss in this company" she said.

"But it's our first time meeting, why does he look as if he doesn't like me? As if I've done something fatal to him," said Maureen, turning her head towards Sophie.

"Never mind, you better not think about it," Sophie said, turning towards Maureen, and holding her shoulders, "This is your first day working at this company, so you should enjoy it," she continued, smiling.

But Maureen only nodded, and lowered her head, without saying anything.

A man stepped his foot, and entered a house, which was quite large.

"Arthur"

He immediately stopped his steps, when he heard a man in his 50s, calling his name.

"Come here, and sit down" said the man.

With a little heavy, the man who was indeed Arthur sighed, and walked towards the sofa. Then he sat down there.

"How was it at the office today?" asked the man, staring at his only child, who was sitting not far in front of him.

"As usual, running smoothly" replied Arthur dryly, while lowering his head.

"Good" said his father, nodding his head, "Then is something, we want to talk to you" he continued.

"Want to talk something? What?" asked Arthur, raising his head and looking at his parents, who were sitting side by side.

"We want to arranged marriage you, with a girl" replied his father.

"What?! Arranged marriage me? Are you guys kidding me?" said Arthur, who looked so surprised, and also in disbelief.

"No dear, we're not kidding. And we really want to arranged marriage you, with a girl," replied his mother, staring at her only child.

"But Mom, Dad, why did you do that? I'm an adult, and I can find the woman I want" said Arthur, while looking at his parents.

"The first, because it is time for you to get married, especially if you remember your age, which has turned 27 years old. And the second, because I had planned this, when you were a child," replied his father.

Hearing his father's answer, made Arthur confused, and frowned, "Father has planned this, since I was a kid?" he asked, and his father immediately nodded his head, "Wait, I don't understand what you're saying" he continued, shaking his head.

With a heavy, his father sighed, and lowered his head, "In the past, I had a friend who was very close to me, and we are very good friends. Then we plan, if one day we have children, who are of different sexes, then we will arranged marriage them, when they are grown up "he replied.

"But why did you guys plan that?" asked Arthur again, looking curious, and also wonder.

"Because we want our children to become husband and wife, and live happily" his father replied, looking at him.

"But precisely with arranged marriaged, a husband and wife will not live happily. Especially if they don't love each other," said Arthur.

"We know that," replied his father, nodding his head, "But we still want, the arranged marriage is keep running, and our child will get married someday" he continued.

Arthur immediately sighed harshly, and looked away, "Then, that's you are selfish! Because you only think about what you want" he said, who then got up from the sofa, and just walked away.

"Arthur! Wait!" said his mother, who also got up from the sofa, and was about to chase him.
