THE PLACE OF RICHES AND LUXURY (1)
Aiden stretched his limbs and yawned loudly.
For some reason, he felt totally different that day.
His limbs felt languid and were totally relaxed as if he had been asleep for days!
He knew clear enough that it was not time to slack... he had to prepare for the day to carry on his usual routine and make a living to earn some bucks, just like what he usually did.
"But wait.... maybe five more minutes..."
He bargained to himself.
But then, a second after that, both of Aiden's eyes instantly became wide open.
His sleepy eyes went to being two big circles when he finally remembered what happened to him
He was abducted by Nathalia!
"WHERE AM I??!"
He blurted out in panic and it was only then that he had a chance to look around him.
And because he could not believe what he just saw, Aiden tried to rub his eyes a few more times.
Hoping to wipe away the remaining sleepiness that he had on him if there was still any.
For what surrounded him at that very moment felt something that came straight out of his wildest dream.
"WHAT THE HECK!!!!"
Aiden gasped in amazement and for a while he forgot his panic for being abducted.
The room that he was currently at was indeed unfamiliar, to say the least.
And Aiden could bet his wrist that it was the largest room that he had ever been.
But what really made Aiden awed was not its size, but rather the grandeur that the place had offered to him.
Saying that the room was made out of pure riches and luxury seemed to be an understatement to describe how it looked.
Even palaces that he had seen in magazines before paled in comparison to the place that he was currently at.
Just his room alone was enough to speak volumes of how marvelous the place was.
Using his eyes to wander around the place, he saw that the room was decorated with detailed designs and they were all made from gold, platinum, and other metals.
Likewise, various colored gemstones were also placed as designs on the posts of the bed, walls as well as the ceiling.
Even the chandelier itself was no exemption. It was ornamented with what looked like diamonds!
It sat on the center of the ceiling hanging above the room like a perfect centerpiece.
And just that single piece itself seemed to be worth more than Aiden's life!
EVERY PIECE OF THE PLACE SCREAMED OF EXTRAVAGANCE!!!
It was not that often that Aiden would have a chance to marvel a place like that.
Opportunities like that was so rare, if not impossible.
That was why Aiden allowed his curiosity to get the better of him at that time.
Aiden held his breath as he took his first step at the black marble floor.
The stone-cold floor numbed is barefoot, but that did not stop him from approaching the nearest lamp.
When he got near the lamp and finally got a chance to have a close looked of it, he saw that the body of the lamp seemed to be made of gold as well.
At the same time, it was also decorated with amethyst as big as the size of his thumbs!
But what made the lamp different from the usual lamp that he had seen before, was that it did not come with a light bulb.
What it had instead was a peculiar fire of blue color burning on its center.
"WOAH! AWESOME!!!!"
Aiden could not help but exclaimed.
He looked back at his bed and realized that the even the mattress where he actually slept and lied down, were of silk sheets of the highest quality.
No wonder, he slept really well.
But the wonder did not just stop on his mattress. In fact, that was just the beginning because even his king-size bed was no joking matter.
It was a four-poster bed with gossamer-thin curtains.
And just like the rest of the room, its wood was also inlaid with gold and silver!
"Damn it! If I could just lift and sell, even just this bed alone, then I could probably buy myself a Lamborghini or maybe even two!"
