He looked back at her silently as if he knew she needed to do the speaking. Inhaling, she unlocked the door and pushed in. Her music producer was in, on the monitor as usual but when he saw them, he stood up and walked hurriedly towards them. "Hello, boss lady, Mr. Williams…"

Amy waved him off with a smile. "Don't need to be so official, Jeff doesn't bite."

Jeff said nothing, his eyes moving all over the room, it was modest. "So this is where Lucy's money went to," he said silently and Amy felt the urge to hug him, she could feel his hidden anger or was it disappointment? As she wrapped her hands around him, she placed her head on his chest.
