Playing Dirty

"Sophie where have you been?" Ifeoma demanded from Sophia the moment she saw her at her door.

"At least allow me to come in first, before you start bombarding me with questions." Sophia said to her sister.

Ifeoma stepped away from the door, so Sophia could go in.

"You had better have a reasonable explanation for your disappearance, because you got us all worried."

"I'm sorry if I got you worried, I just needed some time away, I had a lot I was dealing with, and I needed to clear my head."

"Then why didn't you tell any of us before you left? At least your husband. We were all worried sick looking for you."

"But when you called me, I told you I was fine."

"And you also told me that you were home, whereas you weren't home. So how was I supposed to know if you were saying the truth?"

"I'm sorry I lied to you, I just wanted to be alone."

"Thank God you are okay."
