Memories

It's been a week since Tunde's sister added weed to Sophia's soup. And his mother already brought the two girls to come apologize to her. And they promised never to play such pranks on her again.

Since then, Taiwo has been calling to check up on her, almost every day, and has become more friendly towards her.

Sophia found this sudden change a bit strange, and was having a difficult time adjusting to it.

She just finished with a project, and was on her way to a hospital to see a cousin of hers, who had given birth, but unfortunately, the baby had died. 

She was hoping to be able to go visit her, and then get back home before Tunde does, but with the way the traffic was building up, she wasn't sure if that was going to be possible.

She decided to give Tunde a call, and let him know she might be coming home late.

"Hey babes." He sounded really tired.

"T, are you okay?" Sophia asked.
