65 Omake 1: A Litter of Five

Naruto was freaking out. Sasuke suddenly collapsed with cold sweat and blood was leaking so profusely from his nether regions that the kit lost it and activated all his powers, triggering a summon for Tsunade and Kurama.

Kurama had taken over his fox clan leader duties while Naruto rushed his mate to the Hatake compounds where Tsunade was already waiting for them.

The witch cast a spell to put Sasuke to sleep and chased the golden fox out. Kakashi had to step in and restrain Naruto who was on the verge of going on a rampage. The pain and fear that Sasuke felt were getting transmitted through the mating bond and Naruto was driven insane by the instincts. Iruka wasted no time and helped Tsunade deliver the five kits.

"Move!" Naruto snarled but the werewolf alpha whistled and summoned his pack. The golden fox was strong and couldn't be reasoned with. They could only buy time to hold Naruto back from hindering the operation and endangering his mate or children.

"Stay down or I'll have to kick you out, Naruto," Kakashi warned and fought back with his pheromones. "If you continue being an idiot, you'd lose Sasuke and your unborn children. Wait and trust Tsunade. There's nothing more you can do than to comfort him through the bond."

Naruto calmed down a little and his eyes returned to normal hearing that he was doing more harm than good. Ino and Sai were still keeping an eye on Naruto but Kakashi motioned for Ino to help with the delivery instead. Sai watched his wife go and decided to talk to Naruto and distract him from his feelings.

"Have you and Sasuke decided on names? I heard that there will be five children. Two boys and three girls."

Naruto looked at Sai and nodded. "We're naming one of our sons Menma and another Minato. We're naming one of the girls Kushina as well. Sasuke wants to name a daughter Sarada and another one Mikoto after his mother."

There was a sharp yelp and a shrill cry from the delivery room and Naruto perked up. "My child!" he almost cried and held onto Kakashi who pressed him back down onto the couch. "My child is born!" the golden fox wanted to cry but couldn't decide if he should be laughing or crying first.

Sai was amused by the strange combination of smiling and ugly sobbing by the dignified golden fox clan leader. Kakashi gave the werewolf a warning look about ruining the moment with his comments. He could feel through his bond that Iruka was rather stressed but for a good reason. Fro outside, they were able to hear more cries. The children were getting delivered safely one after another.

"Call for the other werewolves," he told Sai. "Get any females into the room who can help take care of children and washing. Tsunade can't handle it alone."

Said obeyed and left quickly. Naruto turned to the alpha werewolf. "Can I go in now?"

Kakashi grinned and smacked Nauto until he was back onto the couch. "You're not going anywhere until Tsunade says so. You don't even know how to carry a baby, letting you in there is only going to hinder them. Also, aren't you nervous? You're a father now."

Naruto paled and swallowed when he heard that. "I'm a father now..." he repeated blankly.

"Yes," Kakashi grinned from behind his fabric mask and sat down beside Naruto. "Do you know what fatherhood means?"

"What?" The golden fox asked warily. Sure, Kakashi might be a father now with to sons but to the golden fox, he was still a lazy and untrustworthy person. Ever since Naruto started working as the fox clan's leader, Kakashi had been the one unreliable ally he had who simply wouldn't get anything done the way it should be.

"Now now, don't be so hasty to judge. We still have some time," the werewolf grinned. Naruto grew wary and Kakashi leaned in closer.

"When you become a father, you will have to sacrifice sleep. Your wife is also going to be super cranky when she is recovering from the pregnancy. My lovely dolphin suffered from postpartum blues for a while but thankfully we were quick to identify it to help him before it gets too bad. When you become a father, you need to be mentally strong to support both your wife and your children. It means sacrifices. You need to learn how to make baby bottles, change nappies and ensure that your children don't kill themselves or each other. They're very fragile after all. And the worst part..."

Naruto swallowed. "The worst part?"

Kakashi nodded and lowered his voice. "No sex for months."

Naruto gasped then quickly covered his mouth. "Really?"

The werewolf alpha grimaced and nodded. At the back of his mind, Kakashi was simply too amused at how easy it was to fool Naruto. Knowing Sasuke, he wouldn't deny this dumb fox sex the moment he recovered. However, Kakashi just wanted to scare Naruto a little. Fatherhood wasn't easy but it was a joy. The fox clan was going to be very lively with the addition of five new babies and the werewolf simply couldn't wait to see Itachi and Kurama go insane from having to accept babysitting requests.

As Naruto panicked silently, Kakashi texted Itachi and Kurama to inform them that all five kits were delivered safely. It was two hours later that Tsunade told Naruto that he could visit but quietly. The children were fed, washed and clothed so they were now sleeping in their cribs. Nauto checked in on Sasuke first and the Uchiha was awake although he looked dazed and tired.

"Naruto?"

Relieved, the golden fox knelt down beside his mate. "How are you feeling?" he asked. Tsunade and Ino did a great job, Naruto couldn't even smell blood on Sasuke. Sasuke would recover quickly in no time if he ate nourishing food and had ample of rest.

"Tired and it hurts a little but I'll be fine. Have you seen our children? I haven't seen them. Tsunade won't let me get out of bed."

Naruto shook his head. "I haven't seen them. We can see them together later. You're tired, rest."

Sasuke nodded and held onto Naruto's hand before drifting back to sleep. Watching his mate sleep, Naruto felt pride swell in his heart. Sasuke was such a wonderful mate, delivering his children safely while he panicked over the idea of becoming a father. Seriously, he should man up and take charge more.

Leaning down to kiss his mate, Naruto smiled. "I love you, Sasuke. I promise that I'll work harder to be a better leader so that you and our kits can lead a better life. I'm so proud of you."

From outside the door, Kakashi hugged Iruka who smiled and gave the werewolf a kiss on his chin that was covered in a mask. "They're growing up in their own ways," the teacher said.

Kakashi agreed. "Have you thought of how to spoil your godchildren?"

Iruka laughed. "Definitely. I think the one called Minato might be trouble. I saw him kicking his siblings and yelling the loudest when I helped Tsunade out. Good thing they decided not to name one Boruto. I cannot imagine having another mini Naruto running around."

Kakashi shuddered. "Please don't remind me. Kurama gave me enough ideas about how much of a handful Naruto was. Anyway, we should leave and give them some privacy now. How about we go have some quality alone time? It's been a while and the boys are also getting looked after by Tsunade."

Iruka smacked his husband on the arm but without malice. The endearing blush on his cheeks told Kakashi that the teacher wasn't against it but merely embarrassed. With a victorious grin, Kakashi led the way to the bedroom.
