267 The Real Murderer

The following day, Mark went to the Ang family's residence to meet their patriarch who had invited him for an important meeting.

He hadn't told Elena anything about it before leaving that morning as all the latter thought was that he had gone for his normal business.

As soon as Mark arrived at the house, he was let in and taken straight to a sitting area which looked very private.

At least it was better than sitting inside the study of the old man that had nothing appealing to his eyes.

Soon, Grandfather Ang joined Mark in the sitting area.

"Shut the door," he instructed his butler and as soon as they were alone, he faced Mark squarely.

"I'm sorry for asking you to come all the way here when I am the one owing you an explanation."

Mark rubbed his fingers together and said, "I'm happy to make the trip if you make it worth it."
