9. Black Market

They had stop at the stoplight, Rui has takes another peek at her which it turns out that she has fallen asleep. He leans to the steering wheel as he continues to watch her sleep. He turns and grab his jacket from the back seat to cover her without waking her up. He smiles as she was sleeping so soundly.

As soon as they reach home, he carefully unbuckle her seatbelt and lifts her in his arms. He gestures the maid to close the door, the maid nods as Rui walks with Hana in his arms. He walks upstairs and head to his room. He gently puts her on the bed then puts a blanket over her. He sits on the side of the bed, lost in his thoughts.

(Rui: You were with him all this time...do you....) He shakes his head, not wanting to know. He mutters; "It doesn't matter if you do....no matter what, I'm not letting you go." He walks to the bathroom to take a shower in order to cool off. As the shower running, he can't help but think that Hana might have feelings for that Zamir guy. Rui wasn't liking how he felt. Jealous. Insecure. Anxious. He lets out a sigh.

After showering, he walks out of the bathroom as he rubs his hair with a towel. His phone vibrates on the table, he grabs his phone and it was a text message from James Chen, his best friend. His towel hangs on top of his head as he read the text message.

James: Heard you got married. Where's my invite?

Rui: No wedding. Just marriage certificate.

James: How boring. Let me know if you two are planning to have one. Also...keep your hands to yourself, naughty one.

Rui was shocked from James's blunt remark. He toss his phone on the chair and also grabs the towel that was sitting on his head, toss on the chair. He walks over to the bed and gets under the blanket, staring at her. (You're too defenseless.) He strokes her cheek as he was lost in his thoughts. (...If everything has reached its closure, would you leave...or would you stay?)

He sees her shivering, so he turns to the other side and grabs a small remote to lower the power of the AC. He puts the remote back to its place and turns to her. (Can you stay with me forever, Hana?) He slides both of his arms to around her, he pulls her closer to his chest and cuddle with her.

In the middle of the night, Sora couldn't sleep, so he grabs his favorite blanket and head to the master bedroom where Rui and Hana sleeps. He slowly opens the door and sees them sleeping. He walks in and close the door behind him. He waddle towards the bed, he climbs up on the ottoman in order to get on the bed.

He climbs up and sees Hana being in his father's arms. Sora pouts and slowly snuggles between them. He puts both of their hands over his small body. He smiles and whispers, "Good night." As the sun was shining so brightly on Hana's face, she slowly sits up as she rubs her eyes. She looks down and notices Rui and Sora were on the same bed as her. (Why...oh that's right...married to that brat.)

She fix the blanket and cover them with the blanket. She gets out of the bed to head for the shower. She lets the water runs as she was in the shower. (What to do with that Uncle of his?) She shakes her head and empty her thoughts. She turns off the water after she completely wash her body. She wipes her body with the towel and wraps the towel around her body. She puts a bathrobe on and head out of the bathroom.

As she enters back into the bedroom, she looks at the bed which the boys were still sleeping. She mutters, "Like father, like son." She puts her hair in a bun and walks out to get a cup of coffee. She sits on the sofa as the maid serves her some coffee. She grabs her phone and dials someone.

"It's me, Ella." "What's up, Hana?" "I want you to do me a favor." "Ask away." "Investigate Javier, Rui's uncle for me." "he one who tries to harm Sora. Javier, Rui's uncle." "Got it. I will let you know if I find anything interesting." "Thanks" The call ends there and she puts her cellphone on the table as she grabs her cup of coffee. She blows the coffee for a bit and takes a sip.

Rui turns and his hand reach out to his right. (Good, she's--) He opens his eyes and notices Sora is the one who laying next to him. Rui immediately sits up and mutters, "Damn brat." He looks around the room and didn't see her. He gasped and thought she might've run away. He gets out of the bedroom and walks down the stairs. He stops at his tracks as soon as he sees her in sunroom, drinking coffee.

He then looks irritated as he realizes she was just wearing a bathrobe. (What the heck is she thinking?) He walks into the sunroom. "Hey." She looks up and sees him in a foul mood. "What's wrong with you?" "Why are you wearing only a bathrobe down here?" "...Same goes to you." He looks down and realizes he was also wearing a bathrobe. "It's fine since I'm the owner." She evilly grins and said, "Same here. I'm the owner's wife, so I can wear whatever I'm comfortable with."

"You--" She puts her cup of coffee on the table and get off the sofa. "Where are you going?" "To get change. I have plans today." "Where? Are you going to meet him?" "What? Who?" "...Zamir.." She blinks for a few times and said, "...You sure hit your head somewhere." "Hey!" She ignores him and walks upstairs to head back to the master bedroom.

Rui follows her. "Tell me.." She turns around and place her hand on his mouth. She puts a finger to her lips. "Shh..Sora is still sleeping." Rui can feel his temperature rising when she did that. She removes her hand away from him and head to the closet. In a low voice, she said, "Zamir is busy so I'm not going to see him. I am meeting with another friend." "Male?" She lets out of a sigh. "Her name is Ella...so.." She looks at him. "You shouldn't pry or you might get hurt." "Ha?"

She grabs the clothes that she's going to wear and head to the bathroom to change. Once she's changed, she grabs her bag from the chair next to the side of the bed where she slept. "How long will you be gone?" "..Don't know yet. Why? You need something?" "..No.." She walks out of the house as he sees her off. His shoulders slumps after she had abandon him.

[Café]

Ella was sitting on the chair, slipping on her drink as she waits for Hana to show up. "Ella." She turns to the side and sees Hana. "Hana." Hana puts her bag down to the chair next to her. "What did you find?" Ella puts her drink down and said, "I found out why he wanted to kidnapped Sora." "Why?" "He wanted to take over the Ti Mui Company to do illegal transportation like child trafficking." Her eyes widened. "Selling young kids?" Ella nods.

"Not only that, however, he even tries to sell them through a dangerous place, the black market."
