27 The jealousy

Samuel and Jasmine decided to spend more time together as a family with the three kids and Inir as well. But Vivi was becoming stranger day by day. In the beginning she was not accepting Nina at all. It's clear that she was jealous of the new baby. They thought it was cute as the baby is being possessive of her parents.

During Vivi's first birthday party, both the family had a get together fater a long time. James came from village to to meet his friend's family and even more so his own family. Nancy and Inir use to go back to their village once in two weeks to stay together with James. When James, Nancy, Samuel and Jasmine were talking about their recent issues, the Samuel couple came to understand thta they both have done mistakes. Samuel also didn't treat his second daughter properly as a father.

Everyone were so happy to meet James after long time. James was always holding Vivi in his arms and was lecturing his son to take of his little bride very well. Vivi alao was laughing at James for go knows what. She was very happy, because everyone seem to appreciate her presence. Even her mother was smiling at her and didn't ignore her. Then she started dancing with Inir and david at the centre of the family hall.

But something was strange, because Vivi was treating Nina as an enemy and Jasmine as a stranger. She was full of smiles when she is with her father, uncle and Inir. Nancy and David were neutral. But Nina was considered as an enemy. Even when were cutting the cake and feeding each other she was happy to feed everyone except her mother. Jasmine was feeling so bad in her heart, for her daughter. She didn't want baby Nina ro come to the party at all.

Even after the party was over, the same scenario was happening for a few days. The parents were feeling bad that the sister's may not get along with each other in the future. Especially when Jasmine feeds Nina, Vivi will start crying and throw things at them. So Nina has to be fed from her mother in secret. And because of the same reason, Nina's feeding was also stopped when she was 6 months old.

During the same time, Vivi was already running around the house. Whenever she sees Nina she, mood will sour and she will throw whatever she has in her hands towards Nina and run away from there. It may not be as simple jealousy as they thought. May be bigger problem.

"May be she is thinking that new baby has become the attention of everyone in the family. So she is feeling bad" Nancy suggested. This week James came to visit his sone and wife that is when he noticed Vivi's behaviour very odd. as it is not a simple jealousy for the new kid.

"It was my fault, i was not there to take care of her so she thinks that I forgot her" Jasmine was already crying.

"Instead talking about what happened, let's see what we can do to get my daughter back". Samuel was at the edge. Because his daughter doesn't go to her mother at all. If someone accidentally brings her to her mother and sister's room, she will start crying untill she gets difficult to breath. This was not what he wanted for his daughter. She is his lucky star. Even on her first birthday, he got to buy their new house, he got it settled for very low cost on her birthday itself. Just a week after her birthday they moved to their own house.

"Why is this happening, shall I we go for a trip the eight of us? We can have some fresh breath and release all the stress and come back. what do you say?" James suggested after a while.

" I think it is a better idea, while being away from the house and outside, Vivi might feel better and may get along with her sister. What do you say brother?" Nancy also voiced her opinion.

"Okay anything for my daughter... I mean daughters" Samuel also accepted and the plan was made they took James' mini van and went to a hill station. On the first day everyone were tired and went to sleep. Jasmine and Samuel were sharing a room so Nina was also put on the same bed along with them.

They have booked a holiday house for the two family to stay together. David and Vivi came to their parents to sleep with them. That was when Vivi saw her mother was sleeping next to her father holding the baby, her father was lying next her massaging her mothers neck. At first she did not see the baby Nina she was very happy to sleep along with her father, mother and brother but when she saw the baby she stopped on her tracks. David went straight to the bathroom got freshen up and went near his younger sister and fell asleep immediately.

After long time Samuel was sleeping next to his wife, he was very happy, he was also waiting for his daughter so they can have nice family time. When he noticed David, he turned around to searching for Vivi, when he saw Vivi standing near the door looking at Nina, her eyes were full of hurt and hatred. She was already crying but she didn't make any sound She was silently looking at everyone on the bed and left the room.

Samuel was shocked when he saw his baby girls reactions. She is just one year old. But why she is against her sister so much? Is that really their mistake or did they not notice something. Because it was very clear that Vivi did not make any sound and immediately ran away from there. If he didn't notice accidentally he may never know she even came to the room. Jasmine was already sleeping so he was not able to get up immediately, after slowly moving his wife away he ran out to look for his daughter.

First he went near James' room but it was already locked so, it may not be appropriate to disturb them. So he went around the house in search of his daughter. His worry gre more when he was not able to find her. Without a choice he went and knocked on James'room.

"What happened? Do you need anything?" James was already half asleep.

"Vivi is missing, she ran from our room. Did she come here?" Samuel was very anxious.

" Where could a one year baby go, she might somewhere around the room only. Let's search. come"

Then they both started searching. But even after searching the whole house they could not find her. Without a choice they went wake their wives in search for Vivi.
