41 Orientation

S university.

One of the best universities in country even though it was below the one from the capital, still it is a good university. They have very friendly environment, best professors from across the country, high ranked labs and everything. Students came from different parts of the country but due to the location of the university it was not preferred much. Still the quality of education is not compromised. That is why David chose this university of Vivi. S university if famous for Computer Science and IT department. In the field of Software S university comes under top 5 in the country. It was even higher than the university in the capital.

Vivi thought it was good to have a good career and then leave the house so no one can object her and she can have a sold platform without depending on her parents for money. She was always attracted to the education system in the S university but her independence was more important she thought. But now the same S university can pave way to her independence.

After all the procedures were over and college started. On the day of orientation Vivi came with all her family members. She actually felt very happy looking at the university and more contented to come with everyone in her family. For once she felt like she is truly a member of this family. She met few of her class mates on the day of orientation itself. She even noticed how David was scaring and driving few of the boys who tried to talk to her. This was how her family was supposed to be. But what went wrong? She didn't know and she didn't want to know as well.

After orientation at the main hall of the university she went to her department. All this while she didn't notice two eyes were following her and the owner of the eyes was flying with happiness to watch his girl enjoying her day in the new college. Inir was also very sad when he heard that Vivi wanted to go to capital city to study. He was afraid and was even ready to come in front of her to talk to her. But when David came and scolded Vivi his protective mode got on and he started defending her. When he came to know that Vivi is not going anywhere and will be in T town itself he got calmed down. Now watching her happy and smiling he was contented. That is what his life goal, to keep her happy. But to keep her by his side forever and happy is his complete life goal for which he has to wait for some more time.

When he saw David noticed him and came to him, he was expecting Vivi also to come to him at the corner of his heart but that was not possible. Vivi never noticed any of David's friends. Even when few guys came to their house in the expectation of hitting on Vivi, atleast to talk to her, she never even came out of her room until David's friends left the house. His girl was very conservative and silent type. He never have to worry about Vivi cheating on him as she never even noticed other boys. Starting from the neighborhood boys, roadside romeos not even a single person fell on her eyesight. Call her aloof, stubborn and head weighted but she never gave a damn about boys. He and David are there to drive those cats and dogs behind her back.

"Wanna meet her?" David asked him

"Is that even possible? If you say I am your friend she will run away from me. Even though it makes me happy, for the first time I feel bad about being your friend" Inir replied nonchalantly.

"You will not be my friend for very long"

"Yeah few more years I will be your brother in law"

David looked at him as if looking at a clown.

"Okay but I have to tell you something. Vivi wants to leave T town after finishing her college"

"Why?"

"That's the deal between us. I also felt it better for her to go outside and live on her own for few days. Then may understand how important family is and what she will be missing by being alone. But now if we send her it may not be good for her. She is in a very wrong age to go and live alone"

Inir fell silent.

"Hey" suddenly Nina came to their side. She was going around the university since last half an hour. This university is so good. How sh wished to join the same college as her sister and study together. They can travel together in a two wheeler, go for college functions, parties together. Get dressed up. Stay at friends places, go for shopping and outing. She wanted to do all these with her sister but Vivi never liked any of these.

"Came to see your wife?" she asked Inir who was still watching Vivi.

"Yeah!" Inir really liked this word 'Wife'.

"Keep your eyes on my sister I saw so many boys trying to talk to her. With her EQ she will not even notice that they are hitting on her" Nina started teasing him.

"That's not possible. For that she has to respond to them" David also sided with her.

"My girl can handle these flies. I have full trust on her" Though he was irritated, Inir didn't back out.

"Nina, David come here" Jasmine called them from afar. She did not notice Inir, so Inir bid them good bye and was about leave. But he noticed something. There was one boy who was looking at Vivi from afar but did not go near her. He looked kind of confused but he turned and left. Inir didn't think anything, turned again looked at Vivi once again and left that place.

"How is the college? is it up to your liking?" Samuel asked Vivi Suddenly.

"Hm. I liked this university from very long, as I am studying computer science I can say it is one of the best I can get" Vivi answered casually. Something was strange but she felt comforted. It was always like that. Samuel always kept his distance from her and talked very less. But whenever he speaks, there was some warmth in it. But she also had some restriction when it comes to talking to her father. She also didn't know why but she could not bring herself to open up to him. There is some untold barrier between them which neither of them tried to break. But both were expecting the other to break. Samuel was worried if he tried to talk to her she might run away as she was doing as a kid. Vivi was afraid that he might not like talking to her.

The day ended very peacefully and pleasantly.
