10 New job and new home..

After Victor got down from the train at K town, Vivi's next phase of life started.

In the beginning most of the things were tough for her as she was new to the place. B City was one of the most flourishing cities in the world. B city is known as the electronic hub of the country, as a software professional Vivi was living in a most suited place. As she started as the intern in the office, the stress was too much for her, but she was determined, because, none of this stress can compare to the emotional burst she has gone through in her hometown.

For the first 3 months, she did not go to her house at all. She was missing her mother, Victor, and her sugarplum, her cat. Her mother was the only person who was her support in her family, still, she can't monopolize her mother, as her mother belongs to her sister and brother as well. Since her childhood, her brother loved her younger as if she was his own daughter but always bullied Vivi. Nina was a weak child since she was a baby. Vivi and Nina and only a year apart. So, even when she was a baby, she was considered as an elder sister, which she didn't even understand. So she was always a little aloof from everyone, but Nina, in contrast, was a bright child. Everyone compared them saying " How good it will be if Vivi had even a little of Nina's bright character". Which always irked her. Only her mother and her cat did not compare them, which was a relief for her. But, she was living in a hostel so she was not able to bring her cat with her. Alas!

Victor was also busy with his admission work so their communication time was very less. She again started feeling lonely. But she remembered Victor's words before by train. So she wanted to come out of her comfort zone. She started making friends, going out, and doing fun things. Fortunately, things were working out for her. She met 3 new girls, Samanta, Amber, and Remi. They were also working as interns in her office and 4 of them were staying in the same hostel.

Her mother and Victor were the only people, who will talk to her every day over the phone. Her father calls her once in a week to check on her if she is behaving properly at the new place. Her brother never talks to her if there is no gain for him. Her sister also talks to her in between while talking to her mother. But her sister and she are not so close, as they both were always compared by others they also have always maintained their distance even after their relationship is supposed to be so close.
