A new start chapter 1

The sky was dark and heavy rain was pouring down.in an alleyway,in the shadows,there were three silhouettes.with one holding a gun

I looked in front of me,at the masked guy with a gun.

The gun was pointed at me and yet I didn't feel afraid or worried,or for better wording, I rather felt relieved..

I looked at my girlfriend behind me,LInda looked afraid and was holding onto my waist from behind.

To the outside eyes,it might have looked like a loving gesture,but I knew it was fake.the waist holding is really a gesture to lock me in place.

There was a glock sound,there was another gun to my head from behind.

I knew it all from the start,my best friend Aiden to my girlfriend Linda.

No matter how much they tried to hide their greedy eyes,no matter how much they faked their whole personality and no matter how much he put on a mask out of guilt on looking at me eye to eye while holding a gun to me and no matter how much she tried to conceal her greed through kindness and love to trick me,i knew from the very beginning and yet why did i felt saddened to see them go through with it.

I knew it from the start and told myself not to get attached and yet…

Why do I always get attached to people with malicious intentions towards me?.

Why is it that I always like the toxic things that ruin me and why do I always go back to those same toxic situations?

I said it won't happen again, over and over.

Pathetic..

The two gun's trigger was pulled

"I'm truly pathetic.."

The rain,hiding the young man's tears,fell on the dying man's body

Carrying the flowing blood from his head to further in the alley to some sewer up ahead.

Before his last breath the man touched a red button on his pocket.

Closing his eyes the last thing the man saw was the scared face of his lover and the shivering shoulders of his once best friend.

From the distance he can hear the loud echoing sirens of police cars.

"Fuck you…Aiden..LInda".

Yet to the man's surprise he opened his eyes once more.

Looking around the man wonders where he was,around him he can see multiple clocks of many sizes.

"Is this where a person goes after death??"

The man closed his eyes to try and calm down and looked around more closely.

This time he noticed a glowing clock that ticked every few seconds on top of his head.

Out of curiosity he reached out to touch it.

Suddenly he felt heavy sleep coming over him

His eyes desperate to close, the man tried his best to keep himself awake.

Before falling into a deep sleep the last thing he sees being a young man who looked identical to him when he was younger.

The young man seemed to be saying something but the sleepy man couldn't hear him much other than a few words the young man said.

"This time…better…for me".

I woke up again and looked around my surroundings,this time I was in a forest.

I looked at my hands,which looked smaller than usual,and was for some unknown reason bruised

I touched my face which felt like I was malnourished because I could feel my cheekbones clearly

I touched my hair,which brings back memories for me before cutting my long hair on my 18th birthday

I tried to stand up but my legs seemed to have been broken.

The heat coming from the sun was starting to get to me before I heard a ding sound in my head.

Suddenly Eros bad state changed and his legs started healing

His malnourished body gained a little more weight making him not look like a breathing skeleton anymore.

His old bruises healed as well.

"A system?"

"I've got a golden finger,meaning I transmigrated?"

I stood up,my eyes sight now looking much better than 16 year old me back then,I looked around my surroundings now able to fully comprehend my location

I looked up a head at and saw medieval city surrounded by walls

"What's that place Apollo?"

Fun fact:the city is filled with many big shots from the kingdom's capital that are in a get away vacation>)

Not that I'm complaining,starting business from the very bottom while having many years of experience and knowing all of the setbacks?

There's only two rules set for me to bloom my business in this world.

1.never trust anyone

2.make absolutely sure my customers leave my store satisfied.

After all, what other rules are there for a shop owner in another world?.
