"I have no time for this bullshit," Calhoun muttered. He darted his eyes at Monica, and bared his fangs at this bitch who dared to slander him just because he rejected her advance. 

If not because of Celine, he would've abandoned that bitch and let her rot as a vampire. 

Monica saw how Calhoun turned his hostility towards her. She shuddered out of fear and tried snuggling deeper into Lord Zhenya's embrace for safety, "M—Milord, look at that! I was right. He is a cruel man! He hurt me once, and he will hurt me again! Please save me!"

"You will regret ever slandering me like this, Monica," Calhoun said as he charged at high speed toward Monica and Zhenya again. 

Lord Zhenya didn't react at first until Monica felt that death was right in front of her eyes. So she closed her eyes and hugged her vampire husband as tightly as possible, "Please, Milord! I don't want to die like this!"
