"When you feel my heat, look into my eyes. It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide~!" Amanda sang, full of feelings. It's Friday today, our classes are through and we decided to go to a videoke hub. I agreed to come along since I don't have anything to do.

"Ohh... I'll sing this song." I said then grabbed the remote control. "How about you, Leo? You'll sing right?" I looked at Leo who's at my side.

Yes, he's here. I don't know what made him joined us. Usually, he'll go straight at his part time job, but yeah, miracle happened. He joined us.

"Leo?" I called his name again but he didn't answer, so I tapped his shoulder. He snapped out of his reverie.

"Yeah? What?" I narrowed my eyes.

"I was calling you but you seem not to notice." I said.

"Oh, sorry..." his voice sound so sad. He brushed his hair with his fingers. "Uhmm..."

"You okay?" He flashed gloomy smile then shook his head. "Why?" He fell into silence for few seconds. Only Amanda's voice is present within our room. That girl didn't notice her cousin's gloom aura. She's too focused on her song. Psh. "It's okay if you can't tell me. I understand."

"No... it's not like that. I mean..." he went to silence once again before speaking. "You know about my mate, right?" I nodded.

"Yeah, so this is about her?"

"No, actually... I think I'm in love with---"

"WHAT?! IN LOVE?! WHO?!" out of a sudden, Amanda looked at us, with mic on, shouting those words.

We looked at her with 'What - the - Fuck' look. "You're listening?" I asked her.

"NOT REALLY BUT I HEARD THE WORD LOVE SO I---" she still speaking through the microphone.

"Turn it off!" Leo shouted.

"Hehehe. Gomen." She stopped the song then sat beside us. "So, what's the tea?"

I shrugged my shoulders then I looked at Leo. "He has the tea, girl."

"Ohhhh~ Juicy~!" Amanda said with giggle.

"Seriously?" Leo asked.

"We're serious, duh." Amanda said. Leo sighed.

"I think I'm in love..." he said. "Or maybe I just like him a lot. I don't know to be honest."

"And?" Amanda and I both said in unison.

"He's... mated already." My eyes widened. What the...

"And just of today, I found out that he has a child."

"Oh my gracious... bro... that's..." Amanda can't finished her sentence due to the revelation. While, I can't processed any words of Leo. This is so fucked up. "Dude, that's crazy as fuck."

"I know. I didn't plan to like him to begin with. Also, I'm not mated, I had my own issues with fated mate, so I thought it's fine to pursue him but then I found out that he's mated already and he has a child." I can feel how problematic he is. "I had a very bad luck in love life."

"Agree." That's the only thing I could say.

'The three of us is so helpless with our love lives. Shit.'

"Does he know that you like him?" Amanda asked. Leo shook his head.

"I can't say it to him, okay? I just can't..." I frowned. "He won't accept it for sure."

"Why?" I asked.

"I can't tell it yet. I'm sorry." He said apologetically. Amanda and I looked at each other. I think she understand what I'm thinking. We both tapped Leo's shoulder.

"It's fine. We understand." Amanda said. "We're just here, brother." Leo smiled.

"Thanks, guys."

I didn't know that Leo is the type of person who's opened when it comes of his life. At first, I thought he like to keep everything in private, but no. He's not afraid of admitting that he like someone. This is very new for me. My alpha brothers and father were very secretive. I don't know if they're shy of showing their emotions, even Felix is like that despite of having loud mouth.

"You should forget about that for now, come on! Don't waste our money for just sitting here for nothing. Let's sing our hearts out!" I said. Amanda was totally agree about it.

"Yeah!!! Let's party, people!!!" She pulled Leo to stand and give him the mic. "Go, bruh!" Leo has no more chance to argue with her. He just accepted the mic.

"Fuck, fine!"

It's now 8 P.M., we decided to call the day through. "Aghhhh! I don't want to end this day yet! I still want to stay in that hub." Amanda said, whining.

"Then, stay. We'll be going home." Leo said. "Right, Kyle?" I nodded.

"Hmmp! Urusai!"

"Oh shit." Leo said out of a sudden. He was looking at his phone. "My brother told me to pick him up. I need to go guys." He said apologetically.

"Go ahead. Take care, Leo." I said.

"Thanks, Kyle."

"Matta ne, Leo-kun." Leo nodded before walking towards the other of the street.When he vanished Amanda spoke.

"I can't process Leo's words until now. Like what the heck, that's so surprising! I didn't even know that he had love life. Lol." I laughed because of what she said.

"Yeah, and plus the fact that he has a very complicated situation." Amanda made face.

"Look who's talking."

I raised my eyebrow. "Ah yeah? Aren't you the same?"

"Well..." we both laughed. "Don't you believe in the saying, 'Friends with the same problems, suffers together'! That's why we clicked!" She joked.

I laughed even more. "HAHAHAHA! Stop it! Hahahaha!"

"I didn't say anything wrong, lol." She's ejoying this I hit her with my hand. "Ouch!"

I tried to stop my laughter before rolling my eyes at her. "Whatever. " I said. "I'm going now, Amanda. My parents must be wondering where the heck I am."

"Eh???" She hugged my arms. "I still want to be with you~!" I removed her hands.

"Silly, you can still see me next."

"But---!"

"You should go home too, it's pretty dark already. Your parents might be looking for you right now." I said. I saw her mumbling something but I didn't hear. "Huh? You saying something?"

"Nope!" She said. "By the way, Kyle." She grabbed her backpack and opened it.

"Hmm?" She's still looking something at her bag.

"Where is it... hmm..." she's still looking at her bag. "Oh! Here!" She showed me something. Two packs of tablets.

I frowned. "What's that?" She motion me to come near her, I did. Then, she whispered something to me that made my eyes widened. "What?! No! I won't used that!"

"Come on, Kyle! Don't you want to know the truth?"

I bit lips. "I do... but not like this, Amanda."

She clicked her tongue. "You know what? Your just postponing everything! While with this, you can know the truth in instant!" She's looking at me. "Kyle, I meant no harm to you. I just want to help you. Maybe, you'll think I'm being bad influence or whatsoever but... I'm just want to help. "

"..." I stayed in silence. I'm just staring at her. She held my hands.

She sighed. "I honestly despise the fact that he's keeping his identity secret from you, his own omega. I want to understand him, since you trust him. But when I found out about this medicines, I know from that moment I should give you this." Her grip slightly tightened. "But at the end, it's still your choice, Kyle. Whether you'll do it or not, I'm still here for you." She gave me a smile.

"Amanda..." I uttered her name. Suddenly, she ruffled my hair.

"Think about it, okay? I'm going now. Bye, Kyle." She hugged me, a very tight hug before letting me go. Out of nowhere, I cried. I don't know why. "Shh..." she wiped it. "Take care always , Kyle." She smiled for the last time the turned her back at me. She didn't even wait for me to say anything.

She left.

Even at home, I'm still thinking about what Amanda said. I was laying on my bed while looking at the two packs of tablets. The first pack was in color red plactic pack while the other one is in blue plastic pack. I opened the red pack, then took one tablet. It is smaller than normal tablet, like at least half size of it. I sighed before putting it back from the pack. I shut my eyes closed while rwmbering Amanda's words.

'Use this to your alpha. Meet him then make him drink the tablet in the red pack, that will make him sleep. Then, grab the chance to know who is he. The tablets in blue pack was the antidote for the tablets in red pack. It'll only took 5 minutes after taking that and for sure he'll wake up. Use it, Kyle.' She said.

I'm so confuse. The offer was tempting but I don't know if I can do it. I'm scared. I'm afraid of knowing the truth. I know it will cause a lot if I do that. I want to trust my alpha but I also want to be free with this unending mystery, his identity.

I sighed for the nth time before putting the packs on my bag. Right after putting it inside, my phone beeped. Someone texted. My heart raced, because I thought that it'll be my alpha. But then, I remember asking space from him.

'Amanda, how could I tell him to meet if I'm asking for space?' I mentally slapped my face. Another thought just added on my misery.

I grabbed my phone then looked my phone and I found out that it was Errol who texted me.

'You want to talk, right? I'm free tomorrow, let's me at the cafe near Chlel's house.' The message said.

I closed my eyes. Finally, something good came. It has been 1 week since I last saw Errol. After our meeting at Chris's house, I asked him for a talk.

"I can't." Errol replied instantly.

"Wait! I'm a bad person! I just to talk to you. I swear, I meant no harm." I said sincerely to Errol.

Chris, who might sense that something is wrong, went to Errol and put her arms around his neck. "I vouch for him, Errol. He's a good guy." I nodded in response. I saw Errol sighed before removing Chris's arms around him.

"It's not like that. This week is pretty hectic for me, so I don't think I could meet you right after this." He looked at me. "Maybe... wait for my free time. Is that fine?"

I nodded. "O-Of course! It's fine."

After that, he asked for my number so he could contacted me and the the day finally came. Even If I'm the one who insisted the talk, Im pretty nercous.

'I hope he's the one that we're looking for.'

The next day, I prepared myslef for our meet up. I prepared all the things I need, from the pictures, documents and other stuffs. I put it all in my bag. Then, I went down to the kitchen.

"You're going somewhere?" Father asked when he saw me.

"Yep! Meeting Leo and Amanda." I lied. "I don't know what time will I returned later so no need to wait for me." He nodded then continued drinking his coffee.

My parents didn't know about Errol. As much as possible, I want to made sure that my intuition are all correct. After eating, I bid them a goodbye before heading out. I can't use my car for today, so I'll be taking bus to my destination. My father borrowed it because his car was in repair shop.

Now, I was riding the bus. We're just heading the Atlis City. Finally, I reached my destination. I stopped at the waiting shed, few meters away from the coffeeshop that Errol is talking about. There's no people waiting there.

"Oh shit." I was about to walk towards the cafe when I noticed that one of my shoelace was untied. I went at the side of the waiting shed and fixed it. While fixing my shoelace, I smelled something familiar. This scent!

Since I'm at the side of the waiting shed, my view was blocked by the walls of the waiting shed. I can't see who's inside the shed. But this scent... I know it's him.

My heart started to beat so fast. "Are... you still there?" I asked a very obvious question. Of course, he's still there. I can still smell him. But I don't know what to say, so I drop that stupid question.

I can hear his breathing. "Yeah..."

Silence consumed us but still, he's not leaving.

I don't know what's got into me. I suddenly remember Amamda's words. I don't know where the hell did I get the courage to talked to him again. "I... want to be with you... at least for today..." I'm shaking. "Is that fine?"

He's not answering. I was about to take back my words when he spoke. "Can you turn around? Don't face the road."

"Okay..." I did what he said.

Few moments after that, I felt a piece of cloth covering my eyes. Then he hugged me and whispered. "I miss you... I miss you so much..."

I bit my lower lip. "Me too..."
