"Are we there yet?" I asked?

"Nope!" He answered.

I've been awake for almost 10 minutes but we're still in the car. I thought we're going nearby. But hell, we aren't!

"I'm wearing your shirt, right? Then, what are you wearing now?"

"I'm naked." My face blushed.

"What?!"

"Kidding." He chuckled. "I have spare shirt at my compartment. That's what I'm wearing." He said.

Silence.

Fuck, I'm getting irritated. I'm itching to ask him!

"My alpha, answer me honestly. Where the hell are we going?" I asked. I'm really curious about our destination. All he said that it was my 'real gift' and nothing else. His secrecy is really out of my league. I can't decipher any of his words.

I heard him chuckled. "Getting impatient now, huh?" I ignored him.

"Tsk." I clicked my tongue with annoyance. "This blindfold's making my eyes itchy. Can I remove it?"

"Not a chance." He said with domination.

I blew air with annoyance. "Whatever."

I felt his right hand at my thighs. "Bear with it, Kyle. I know this hard for you but I can't do anything about it." He said apologetic voice. "Patience, Kyle, that's all that I need." He removed his hand at me then he went silent.

That moment, I felt a pang of guilt in my heart. Judging from his voice, I know he's carrying heavy burden.

'Am I being selfish now?'

Minutes passed, no one between us dare to talk. The silent made me fidgety. I don't know what to say. We're in good mood earlier but I ruined. How great!

'Kyle, you're such a dupe!'

I sighed. "I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry." We both said in unison.

"Why are you apologizing, my alpha?" I said. "I'm at fault here. I'm being selfish and inconsiderate. I talked without consideration of your thoughts." I added.

A minute later, the car stopped. "No, Kyle, I put you in this position. It's my fault. I'm the one who marked you. I'm responsible for all the outcomes of my actions. I made the mess, I must be the one who clean it." I frowned.

"Mess? You're calling our situation a mess?" I asked him. The blindfold can't stop my tears from building up. "Do you regret making me as your mate? Do you regret putting your bite mark on me? Do you regret the day that I'm became yours?"

"No! That's not what I meant!" I can hear frustration in his voice.

"Then, what?! Enlighten me, I'm confused as fuck."

"I'm the mess, Kyle!" He exclaimed. "Not you! Not this set up." I heard noises from his seatbelt then I felt his hand held my face. "I'm new with this, with us. But I'm trying, Kyle. I know you have a lot of questions but give me time, just give me some time. I swear I'll answer all of your questions once I fixed everything."

"Okay..." that's the only thing I could say as a response. I don't want to deepen our argument. This day was supposed to be happy one since I reunited with him.

"Do you trust me?" He asked.

I nodded and put his hand at my chest. "I trust you with my heart..."

He caressed my face. I felt him kissed my forehead. "Good to know." His arms enveloped my body. I hugged him back.

"I'm really sorry..."

"Shh... forget about it." I nodded. "By the way, we're already here." He whispered.

"To my gift?"

"Yes..."

"Can I see it?" I was hesitant to asked. I don't want the same like earlier happen again.

"Of course," he said. "I'll remove your blindfold but swear not to look at me."

"I swear."

My alpha and I went out from the car. He was guiding me while I still have my blindfold. He's holding my waist from behind.

"Careful." He said. "Just 10 minutes, Kyle. Then I'll put that blindfold again. " he added then slowly removed the blindfold.

When I opened my eyes, I was totally shocked by the sight in front of me.

"Y-You bought a house? For me?" He hugged me from behind.

I don't really know if I could call this a house because it was so huge and extravagant!

"Nope."

"Then, whose house---"

"I built it." He answered then put his chin at my shoulder. "It took me 3 years to finish this. Two years for building the whole house then one year in picking the right furniture and installing everything else inside. I saved up my money just to have this. I kept eye at the laborers while they're building this. I want this house to be the bestest gift you could ever receive."

My eyes widened. "What? 3 years?! I haven't even known you by that time!"

"But I knew you already. " he said then kissed my neck. "That moment when I found out that your my mate, I promised myself to give you nothing but the best. I work hard, Kyle. I really do. I want to show and prove everyone that I deserve you." His arms tightened around me.

"I'm the one who doesn't deserve you, my alpha." I whispered.

Tears gushed out from my eyes. The things I said earlier was really terrible. Gifts like needed a lot of patience and money to build. I'm so selfish to think of only myself. While him, my alpha, thought of nothing but me. He spend those years without me by his side, and I did nothing but complain and ask for more. I am really selfish mate.

"Put the blindfold on, my alpha." I said.

"You sure? It's just been 5 minutes. " I nodded. He removed his hands around me and put the blindfold on my eyes.

This bathroom was way more gorgeous than the hotel room we checked in last time. It has touches of neutral colors in it. While the faucets, the shower, the door knobs and the linings were in gold. The glass wall parting the toilet and the bathtub was frosted. Everything is simple yet screams elegance.

"This is so beautiful, I wonder what the whole house from the inside look like."

"Tomorrow, you have the chance to wander around this house." He said.

I was petrified for a moment when I heard him said those words.

"You're leaving tomorrow, aren't you?" He enveloped me in his arms once more.

"Yes... I'm sorry, Kyle."

"It's fine, my alpha. I'm trying to understand." I held his hands. "But..."

"But?" I sighed.

"When will I get to see you again?"

His embrace tightened. "Every 3 months. Go here."

"Every 3 months? Why?"

"That's your heat schedule, right?" I frowned.

"You mean, we'll only fuck each other every three months?" He laughed.

I sighed. I can't really win a discussion with him.

"Try to finish your studies fast. Reach your dreams as soon as possible." He kissed my cheek from behind. "I can't wait to marry you and build a family with you and our future children."

I felt like I was electrified by happiness because of this words. I can't help but to smile. He's thinking about a future with me.

"Me too, my alpha. I can't wait to be with you without hiding it anymore." I said as I leaned my body onto his.
