202 Space-Time Coordinates (2/3)

As if the apocalyptic catastrophe of the great tsunami had finally subsided, the soldiers on the warship loosened their hands that covered their ears, opened their closed eyes, and looked around with their weak and powerless bodies.

The sea has been stained red with blood, and there are fragmented corpses of sea kings floating on the sea's surface. The fog that has covered the sea all year round has also been dispelling. The golden sunlight has pierced through the clouds and spilled down.

"We ... we survived?"

First, the dead silence broke by a suspicious whisper, and then, immediately, a boisterous cheer erupted.

"Great, we've all survived!"

"It was Commodore Longinus who saved us, long live Commodore Longinus!"

"This guy's really growing in popularity, I thought he'd be the undisputed choice for the term behind us, the Admiral, but now it looks like ..." Borsalino looked at the focus of that crowd and took a deep breath. "That's a ten-year lead span, but it's not safe at all."

"Commodore Longinus, truly an incomparably fearsome monster, yo!" Borsalino shrugged, "But what does that have to do with me?"

"I'll leave this kind of mess to Kuzan and Sakazuki and the others to bother with, and I'll just watch the show in peace!"

"Help! Help!"

"You don't have to be like this, this crisis is actually only possible with your strength ... " Longinus was smiling and reassuring everyone, suddenly his brow furrowed, that flash of a moment ago was a ... cry for help?

"Vice Admiral Borsalino, do you hear that? Seems like someone is calling for help?" Longinus asked towards the side.

"So Commodore Longinus heard it too?" Borsalino looked shocked, "That was frightening, I thought I was hallucinating!"

The soldiers around them looked confused, calling for help; why didn't they hear anything?

Besides, this is the unpopulated Florian Triangle seas, and a cry for help is not typical by any stretch of the imagination, right!

"It seems to be under the sea," Longinus said with a slight sigh, "I'll go down and have a look."

Although the cry for help did appear a bit strange, Longinus was fearless; with his current strength, there were very few existences in the world that could pose a threat to him.

Moreover, the fluctuations from that collision just now were incomparably violent. If powerful people were lurking under the sea, it would be impossible for them not even to leak out a single breath.

Longinus jumped into the sea with a fish leap.

The seawater was cold and harsh, the breath bloody and stinking, and the intermingled senses were repulsive.

But Longinus was unaffected; after all, his other identity was the Red Swordsman who danced on blood.

This too thick smell of blood, instead, made him all faintly agitated inside.

"Well? It's over there!" Longinus quickly locked onto two faint signs of life and swam deeper.

In the dim light, he could barely make out that it was a little girl and a samurai group.

The samurai took the little girl in his arms and seemed to have taken a great deal of damage for her, having passed out from serious injuries.

And the samurai should have instinctively locked the little girl in his arms before he passed out, trying to shield her from harm with his body, only to have his good intentions backfire into the sea as a catalyst for the little girl.

That little girl, she's about to suffocate.

"It was a call with a powerful will to live that was captured by my Kenbunshoku Haki." Longinus swam like a fish towards their location, "This little girl, too, is lucky to have been born with superior talent."

"Help, someone help me, I still, can't die here!" The little girl's strong will was supporting her, and the light in her pupils called hope was suddenly filled with a figure, "Saved? That's great!"

Longinus grabbed the two and rushed upwards, but they were already out of the sea in a matter of seconds.

Bang!

Jump to the deck.

"There's actually someone, a merchant ship in distress? No, the costume they were wearing was ... " Borsalino came around and squinted his eyes in a chant, " Wano Country! It's really getting interesting!"

"Just now I observed that samurai, his back is engraved with the same family crest of the Kozuki clan just like Kin'emon." Longinus wrapped his arms around the two people he placed on the deck and surveyed them, "If this samurai is Kawamatsu from the Nine Red Scabbards, then this little girl should be the last descendant of the Kozuki clan, Kozuki Hiyori!"

"That makes me somewhat understand why that white dragon is targeting me!" Longinus mused, "That white dragon should indeed be the product of a time tunnel, and a tunnel created by applying Toki Toki no Mi to send Kozuki Hiyori to the future."

"If I'm not mistaken, it would be the news of Momonosuke's death that reached Kozuki, forcing them to change their plans and task Kozuki Hiyori with continuing the flames of the Kozuki clan."

"As to why that time tunnel is targeting me, the reason is simple," Longinus' eyelids drooped, "It's the coordinates!"

"Presumably the retainer that was to be used as a temporal coordinate was killed, leaving Kozuki and other to wander through the chaos of time and space."

"And I, her brother's murderer, was used as a new time coordinate because of this inexplicable connection!"

"Cough ... "Despite being seriously injured, Kawamatsu still woke up before Kozuki Hiyori, and upon noticing the situation around him, he immediately drew his sword and went on guard, "Er, who are you?"

"If I were you, I'd care about that little girl first," Longinus said.

"Ah! Hei ... " Kawamatsu was first shocked and then abruptly stopped; their identities absolutely could not be exposed here, "... Dad is here ah! Wake up, wake up!"

The corner of Longinus's mouth twitched. Is it terrific that you're taking advantage of Kozuki Oden like this?

Soon, after coughing a few times and spitting out the seawater she had choked in her mouth, the little girl finally woke up in a ghostly state.

"They're ..." opening her eyes in confusion, Kozuki Hoyuri was first startled by the crowd that came into view and curled down before spotting the last figure she saw before she passed out, "Yay! You're the big brother who saved my life!"

"Are you all right, little one?" Longinus asked, wearing a gentle smile on his face.

"I, I'm fine, thanks big brother." Kozuki Hoyuri and sweetly squealed before looking to the side at someone who was ignored, "Yay! Kawa..."

"Am I so non-existent?" Kawamatsu first gave a cry of grief in her heart, then quickly interrupted, "Sumire, you've finally woken up... You almost scared father to death!"

Kozuki Hiyori gave a baffled glance at Kawamatsu, and she quickly comprehended the situation with her icy intelligence, "Sumire is fine, don't worry father."
