1 Margaret's birth I

A beautiful spring of January, in the beautiful lands of Portugal, a humble family with several hectares of various types of animals and crops of various types of crops expected their second child, they had a beautiful son of 8 years and knowing that his mother would have another baby he was proud, not only because he would no longer be the baby of the house but because he would have a greater responsibility.

He was to be the older brother and his family was very anxiously awaiting the arrival of this child, young Roberto did not stop walking around and asking why his parents were late in bringing his brother or sister. His uncle named Miguel asked him for calm with his hands and in a hoarse but tender voice he said

Miguel: be calm Roberto, anxieties lead to nothing.

After an hour where little Roberto could not stand it any longer, he saw his parents arrive and ran to welcome them and meet his brother.

He was anxious when he arrived with his parents and asked to see his brother and his mother with a big smile says

Upon reuniting with his brother, he congratulates them on their beautiful baby and promises to help them in any way he can, especially if it is within his reach. Ruben knew that now his brother would be busier and with possible late nights in the early morning hours, that meant he had to help him not only twice but three times as much.

But what Ruben did not count on was that little Roberto would agree to help with everything around the house so that his father could sleep more and his uncle would not have to make extra efforts. The family could not refuse, since they knew that Roberto accepted that there was already someone else in the family who needed his care and attention.

Margaret was becoming more and more beautiful as she was very similar to her mother, but with her father's hair and a slight tan on her skin, her uncle Ruben joked a lot that her brother should be ready for the line of suitors and this caused the beautiful Amanda to laugh as her husband turned as red as a tomato and said

Andres: I will keep them all away until she turns eighteen.

This caused so much laughter to those present and to a handsome young man who said: father... I will help you.

But as not everything could be laughter and joy in the family and even more with Margaret's tremendousness, the time she went shopping with her mother made her go through a pain because she went through a lady's purse and took out her things, although sometimes she said: "She is still a child.

Other times he didn't even know what to say, with his father when he made deliveries where the baker stole candy and when they realized it at home, poor Roberto had to go down to town to return or pay for the product. Fortunately for both of them, the baker named Tomás understood the children's mischief since he had a son just like him.
