1 Marco, the curious.

realizing that this could be his last days.

He blamed himself for not trying to peep at Lenna when he had a chance encounter by the creek.

Or returning the pouch of rubies that the ungrateful young master dropped, during his walk in the market.

Or tell his Da that even though he lectures him all the time that he is sorry for not listening when he was told to run, and acted brave that caused his Da and Ma's death.

there are things he wish he would have done, but he will no longer be able to.

As he hears the hiss coming from afar, made by the enforcer of the slarkan who captured their village.

He could not help but sighed.

"Atleast this is the end".

Trying to convince himself that death is better. as every seconds seems to dragged as slowly as it can, while hearing his own heartbeat was not helping it as well.

From what he have eaves from the prior enforcers guarding him, those who got dragged away from their cells either ends up food for their feast or worst slowly bled out on the sacrificial tower as an offering to their deities.

"well as a rodent mix-blood with the unwanted status, I guess this only a fitting ending". once more he mused to himself.

ssshh get out! and sshfollow me. Said the enforcer who opened his cell and yanked him out by the chains keeping his hands binded. spraying the stench that is even scarier than its ugly face.

he had no choice but to obey, he is surrounded by three slarkans, his enforcer on the front and its two subordinates following him closely while their trident spears happily pointed at him looking for any reason to skewer him before he even gets to his destination.

oddly enough, he manage to make it to his destination who is even worst than he thought. he thought that he wouldn't be able to ...

(Hi guys! follow Marco and his quest to find out the truth why his village had to be sacrificed and meeting amazing creatures, characters, and discovering forgotten treasures along the way his road to godhood.)
