1 Chapter one : Mother And Father Gone

- Midnight's POV -

I was running away again with no destination in mind , but to get out of the house . Father came home drunk again and started hitting mother and me , but as I was running farther away I ran into a tall man . He started yelling at me until our eyes met .

- Adrean's POV -

I was just walking down the street until this runt or former runt ran into me .

I started yelling at him until I noticed blood and bruises and blood on his body and ripped clothes he wore . I told him my name and asked him what happened . He said that his father was dead and mother dies from blood loss . I asked hi, how his mother and father died . He said that he killed his father while defending his mother and himself .

- Midnight's POV -

The guy I ran into told me his name was Adrian , he asked me what happened . I told him what happened he looked horrified and scared at the same time , but calmed down when I said it was self defense. He asked me if they were really dead . I though he didn't believe me so I offered to show him . He then told me I could stay with him for the time being .

- Adrean's POV -

I can't believe I let this dude live with me , but it's better than him finding and living with some other guy . There aren't many nice people left in the world . They all have hardened for survival , financial, and popularity reasons . He looks underfed so he's gonna have to strengthen up he want to be living by himself any time soon , as we walked opened the door to my apartment he looked inside with an expression of awe and wonder . Making me think isn't this clean or organized. He told me his name earlier, I told Midnight that he would have to sleep on the couch until we got him a bed when we go shopping tomorrow he agreed with my decision.

- Midnight's POV -

Adrean was being really nice to me . His apartment looked so neat and organized and I didn't smell like alcohol . Instead it smelled like flowers and cinnamon . He told me I could sleep on the couch till we got me a bed . He handed me a pillow and a blanket , he showed me around real quick and told me we were going shopping tomorrow. He also showed me we're his bedroom was incase i got scared or confused about anything.
