4 Chapter 4

Humne socha bhi na tha yeh din bhi aayega,

Koi apna doosron ka ban jayega,

Jiske liye sapne dehke vahi,

Mujhse mera sapna chura le jayega.

That night no one could sleep peacefully. Everyone was thinking about how in one day everyone's life changed from happiness to sadness. The next morning Manisha met with all the kids who were living in the anath ashram. After meeting the kids, Manisha went to the classroom inside the ashram to set up everything before all the kids came. Manisha was wearing a light blue saree and also had her long silky hair in a ponytail. When all the kids entered the class room they saw Manisha writing something in Hindi on the blackboard using chalk. When Manisha finished writing, all the kids wished her good morning. Manisha had written a short quote about how they should be a strong and independent person; "Be sure of yourself, don't let anyone bully you, be a strong and independent girl or boy." All the kids were confused at the meaning of the quote written and were scared to ask the meaning because their older teacher use to get really irritated when the kids asked questions to her. When Manisha saw that all the kids were looking at the board with a confused look she asked them: "kya huya baache, jo maine likhi aapko samajh mein ni aari?" All the kids just nodded their head at her with a cute frown. Manisha chuckled at their adorable faces. When Manisha was about to explain what she has written on the board, the old lady came and told her that a guy has come to meet her and that she should go to her room. While walking back to her room, Manisha was thinking, "Who could want to meet me here? No one knows that I stay here." Despite the fact she was very confused Manisha somehow managed to reach her room.

Rahul's Home

Back at home everyone was broken. Their one and only sunshine had left them alone and disappeared. After Manisha left the house, Rahul was locked up in his room and Aarya locked himself in Manisha's room. Shanti was also broken but she was trying her best to be brave so that she can take care of Rahul and Aarya. Neither of them have eaten since Manisha left. In Manisha's room Aarya had made it a mess by breaking all the mirror's and by punching the wall. As soon as Rahul and Shanti heard this noise, they ran to Manisha's room. Both of them kept knocking the door but Aarya never opened it, so Rahul finally ended up breaking it down. When Rahul entered the room, Aarya was nowhere to be found. Rahul and Shanti started getting worried for Aarya. Manisha's room was filled with glass pieces and Aarya's blood trails everywhere. This was enough for Rahul's heart to skip a beat. While Rahul/Shanti was worried for him, Aarya had taken off to meet Manisha... The love of his life! Little did he know what was waiting for him! It was easy for Aarya because he had sent his detectives behind Manisha when she left the house. When Aarya reached the orphanage, his heart started beating fast and he was really nervous to go inside.

Orphanage

Manisha was walking back and forth in the waiting room, while she was waiting eagerly for her visitor. In her mind there were million thoughts running. One main thought which kept repeating in her mind was: "I hope bhaiya ya Aarya ni ho". But to Manisha's bad luck it was Aarya. When Aarya opened the room, Manisha's back was facing him. When Manisha heard the door closing, she slowly turned the other side to see who the visitor was. The moment Manisha's eyes laid upon the visitor, she got the biggest shock of her life. Aarya was standing in front of her, holding a flower bouquet and smiling like an idiot. Aarya all of the sudden hugged her so tightly that Manisha became speechless. Manisha pushed Aarya and took the jug of water which was sitting on the table on her left and threw it on his face. "How dare you touch me without my permission," yelled a furious Manisha. Aarya was astounded because he thought Manisha would be so happy to see him, but her reaction was totally different. I am really sorry ma'am, I think I should leave now," said a devastated Aarya. When he said all this, there were tears in his eyes. Before Manisha could say sorry, Aarya ran out like in a split of a second. As soon as Aarya left, Manisha broke down to the floor crying her heart out. "I am really sorry Aarya. I didn't want you to ruin your life/future because of an unlucky girl. I wish you all the best for your life" thought Manisha. On the other side, Aarya felt very rejected and was running like a maniac without knowing where he was headed. Both of these souls were broken and did not know what to do next.

Aarya's Point Of View

I was so happy to go meet Manisha today and bring her back home with me, but I guess God had other plans for me! The moment Manisha asked me "how dare you touch me without my permission" my heart just broke into pieces. I know that I promised myself to take everything slow with my feeling for Manisha, but I just can't control anymore! I want to give her all the love she deserves and I want to be with her every step of the way through her pregnancy! Currently I am just standing outside the pub, today I made the decision to drink so that I can forget all my pain! Right when I was about to enter the pub my phone started ringing, and the caller was none other than Rahul. As soon as I picked up the call, Rahul started yelling and asking where the hell I was and if I knew how late the time was. Before hanging he strictly told me to come back home this instant. After he kept the call I noticed that the time was midnight and I did not even know for how long I was roaming the roads ever since I left the orphanage. I did not want to piss off Rahul further so I booked a cab and headed home.

Home

When Aarya entered the house, his eyes landed on a very angry Rahul waiting for him on the sofa. Rahul was scrolling on his phone so Aarya thought that he would quietly head to his room, but to his bad luck Rahul already noticed him.

"Where the bloody hell do you think you are going", asked a ferocious Rahul.

"No where I was waiting for you to notice me", lied a scared Aarya. (Aarya had never seen Rahul this angry before.)

"Where have you been since morning? No phone no message, tum pe pata bhi hai ki Shanti aur mein kitne dar gaye te?" asked Rahul.

"Mein bilkul thik huin, sorry maine dhayan ni di time ki taraf" Aarya said while hugging Rahul.

"Chalo kaafi raat hogayi, hum kal baat karlenge jaake soojate" said Rahul.

After wishing each other good night, both Rahul and Aarya went to bed. When Aarya entered Manisha's room he was surprised to see that the room had been cleaned up and was back to normal. After locking the door Aarya went to lay down, that's when his eyes gazed upon a huge portrait of a smiling Manisha hanging above the bed. Unwilling tears started falling from his eyes while Aarya thought to himself "kaash Manisha I can bring this smile back on your face". Aarya eventually fell asleep sitting upwards on the bed.
