154 Chapter 7: Swan, Ishihara Shunji (Part Two)

Sawa was lost in Shunji's embrace but that didn't mean she completely unaware of the stares from the two across the street.

"Do you hate Takashi Tha-" Sawa was about to say when he finally let her go but closed her mouth again when she said his rival's name.

"Yes, I hate him. But, shouldn't you hate his wife more." Shunji reminded her.

"No, I don't. Hate is a waste of life, Shu" she responded sadly before picking up her chopsticks and taking a bit of some sushi that they sell at this Café. After she picked up her second one Shunji brought himself closer so that he could eat it first. Surprising Sawa as she stared at her lost piece of Sushi being chewed by his mouth.

"I have been over hating him a long time ago." Shunji sighed "I just don't like his life choices. He married that devil Afterall"

Sawa picked up her last piece of sushi this time guarding it from Shuji's thieving mouth.

"Sometimes I think it was better if you two where still friends."

"I don't, if we were still friends, I would have been obligated to tell him about you. And give you up."

"…"

"Besides I liked you first, ever since we were kids."

"…"

"…" They where both silent for a moment as they stared at each other 'I knew it, I am selfish' he thought

"What about his father?"

"I'll never forgive that Bastred" Shunji began to glare " My father died due to his mouth. My mother is bound to a wheelchair, my younger sister is now autistic, and…." Shunji stopped as his stared at Sawa immediately claiming down. "Sawa, I am going to make him suffer for what he did."

Shunji hated injustice that's why he became lawyer, that's why he wanted to help Sawa even more. He was overseas when Sawa was sent to jail, for so-called damming evidence. Sent their by his own mentor and someone he looked up to.

So even if Sawa can let it go he wouldn't. And he'll be damn sure that if his cousin wife wasn't to ruin her life again, he won't let it happen again.

"Ah! How about we go to the amusement park this weekend. I'll bring my Mom. She has been bugging me about seeing him again." Shunji said changing the subject.

"I would like, she has been very supportive in taking care of Haru while I was in Jail." Sawa smiled knowing full well of his emotions.

"Don't forget me two <3" he said with a devise smile

Sawa smacked his head before she started to sing.

I'm gonna need you to raise your glass

I don't care what you put in it

Here's to nights that you can't take back

We live hard, but we love to laugh

[Shunji]

We all thought that we'd get rich fast

Hop the plane out for greener grass

Found out the green is cash

Don't compare to the friends that last

[Both]

See, we won't forget where we came from

The city won't change us

We beat to the same drum

No, we won't forget where we came from

The city can't change us

We beat to the same drum, the same drum

They both laughed as their audience began to clap for their beautiful voices.

"I should get back to work" Sawa said standing up she pulled out her share of the bill and a Tip for the waiter.

"Can't you just ask me to pay for the whole thing" Shunji said

"I'm not that Cheap" she said walking off.

"Uncle Shunjiiiiii~" Shunji visited Haru at his daycare center due to boredom. The little man held out his arms to greet his uncle in a hug.

He loved this little guy, not because he was Sawa kid. But because he watched him grow up from the tiny infant that would smile every time he would pick him up. To the button eyes that looked like there was nothing wrong with the world. And the sparkling face that would light up instantly when he came by.

This little squirt was a true stress reliever after a hard day.

Shunji ruffled Haru's hair to the point it was no longer neat. "Wanna play basketball?"

"Yes" Haru smiled

"Ms. Nakata, how long can I take him out?" Shunji asked the women. Ms.Nakata looked at the clock behind her.

"Ah! Bring him back by 3" she said.

"Roger" Shunji throw peace signs with his free hand while his other hand was held by Haru as they walked out to play as they sang the Little Einstein's song.
