37 Chapter 5: Sunflower of Nature

Mana opened her eyes as she leaned deeply into the fountain. The feelings derived from Faith are really strong. The women was indeed crazy as she loved to eat eggs despite being allergic, she was a woman obsessed with the taste of death.

She trembled at the lingering excitement that just wouldn't leave.

Mana is naturally a near empty shell herself. Her emotions and personality traits coming from the various people she has been or will be in the future. A lot coming from the dominant Faith, out of anyone she has been Faith was her favorite as well as the strongest.

Strong arms wrapped themselves around her giving her a comfortable feeling. She turned to the beautiful face that was her son who always had a pure smile.

"Sunflower" Mana called him as she gave him a warm hug. "Did you come to visit your mother?"

Sunflower grimaced at his name, because his mother has always been adamant about naming her children after flowers. Out of all the flower names out there he got stuck with this one

Sunflower is the god of Nature. He has both male and female forms due to becoming a dryad. However, he was born a male and is Mana fourth born child who descended into godhood.

"You still hate it don't you?" Mana questioned after seeing his expression. As she stood up with him the scenery changed into a breath-taking garden.

"No, No"

"You brought me to Rose's garden, Is she here."

"No, She's with Lily"

"They are not arguing are they"

"Mother, Lily never argues."

"Yes, she makes statements of fact" she huffs before standing up "Oh, I should try going for a Harlequin novel."

"You're going to another world…. Did anyone tell you Lily doesn't like that? It messes with her systems." Sunflower looked at his mother as he pulled her in for another hug "Your still in Faith's personality Mother."

"I suppose…"

"You're going to go."

"Yes. I've isolated myself here for a long time. At first, it was because of Fear and then it was because of your siblings. I wanted to watch all of your lives play out, and the moments you became gods, it made me miss living. Sunflower I feel that I need to get in touch with those feelings again and that if I don't this place will not last."

Sunflower nodded his head "Alright" as his form began to change and became smoother. Until his appearance was now completely female

"Mother, I'm going to get going. I have somethings to take care of" Sunflower said before completely disappearing leaving Mana to walk back to the fountain and then towards the hearts library. She grabbed two books and walked out again toward the fountain.

Faith Pendragon was an originally an unfortunate child she never actually had a name because she started as an experiment for her parents. In Nīru, it was normal for parents to experiment on their children to enhance their capabilities. Since failure wasn't issued with them since it could always be fixed. Initially, when Nīru fell apart she was supposed to be a casualty along with her parents. But then Mana took over her body.

Mana held up the hold both books on her lap and sat on the fountain edge.
