131 Chapter 3: Hunters, Tae and Peony

Tae started at the ceiling that he recognized as his own.

"I'm…Alive" he smiled as he turned around to see that a young girl with silver-pinkish eyes looking back at him. He fell off the bed which make him notice that he had no injury on him what so ever. He signed in relief and looked at the girl who was all of a sudden, I front of him again. Making his face turn red as she was an incredibly beautiful girl, she was wearing a simple nightgown which made certain part visible making him even redder.

The heard the voice again, and he snapped out of it to start looking around his room. The young girl tilted her head as she tried to mouth some words but realized she couldn't speak. Making Tae look at the girl struggle to talk.

[Young man, I only reset time. About two days before to be exact. I have given you two things one is a system and the other is the girl before you. Peony is also my daughter, So please take proper care of her.]

The young girl was still struggling to speak and was about to start crying much to Tae's shock.

"Hey, wait" Tae and then heard a muffled sound as he saw the girl before he was somewhat crying. He tried to pat her head but Peony, all of a sudden, hugged him and started to shake. He all of a sudden saw a dark blue box in his face.

"Is this what your mother meant?" Tae asked Peony who shook her head. Who then turned her head and opened her system and pulled something out of her inventory. It turned out to be a little board and pen.

Tae looked at Peony "What a penalty quest?" he asked her.

Peony stood up and look around before she looked down and then opened her inventory again and taped some buttons and put her board and pen back inside. Sportswear instantly replaced her nightgown. She then scratched and then she looked at Tae as if waiting for something.

Tae got up and picked put his work clothes "Can you show me how you did that?"

Peony brought back out her board and wrote "say inventory either in your head or out loud."

'Inventory' he thought, and his inventory showed up. Peony put is cloths in his inventory he watched her click the button called outfits and then told him to click the button workout clothes. Which he did, and his clothes instantly changed into his workout clothes.

"Cool," he said aloud as they both walked to the downstairs of his house. Since it was early morning, his sister was still asleep. Wait, he paused for a moment "How am I going to explain you to my sister" she looked at Peony.

"Mom had already taken care of that," she wrote.

"Taken care of it?" he questioned.

"To everyone. I'm your wife."

"Huh? Ehhh"

"To this world, I'm an orphan from the orphanage nearby, your mother took me in, as a result, we fell in love and got married early. I'm an E-rank healer to the guild association we are a pair, that most of the go-to dungeons together."

Peony put her board and pen back into her inventory as she walked out the front door with Tae following. They both started their exercises near the park. As they walked by some neighbors who happened to be up this early, they expressed greetings to both of them if it was normal.

It made him feel wierd.

Tae's attention often wondered to here as his heat would skip a couple of beats just looking at her. He gulped again as they just finished nearly all their exercises and were about to go for a run. Only he was sweating. They started running at the same pace until they finished the 10K. When they got back Tae's sister was still asleep.

"Go take a shower first," Tae said as Peony nodded and left to go take a shower. He leaned against the kitchen counter before he realized something. He doesn't feel the fatigue from exercising anymore.
