25 Chapter 25: Hero’s Chronicle, Four Years of Peace

Glass had returned to Ferlin's Mage Academy with a peace of mind when she left. The Church of Rosana can now conduct their clean-up, which was one of her goals all along when she went through with falling for their trap. The other was to Dispose of the Earls while everyone was forced on her, it will take the third prince's faction awhile to realize this. Because of this, she was able to buy herself four years without incident.

The academy was the same, although the teaching was better than Ithacan's, it didn't really matter to Glass as she already knew everything and only came here because she was a tad interested.

Roland had not bothered her for years now. Although he still gives her glance he knows better, and he didn't try to approach her again.

Seeing him like that made her Heart hurt secretly, but she bit her lip as she was determined to forget him.

Speaking of Henry, she wondered when he was going to reveal his relationship with Sara. Those two have been together for years now. She wondered when they were going to tell her.

And then there's Hope, but Rain dizi-self hasn't gotten the hints she has been making towards him for a long time it was starting to get annoying.

Jeb and Vivian are already married and enjoying life with their first child together.

Samantha had a girl who she named Iris, and her father seems quite satisfied as he retired and gave all his work to Breton. Breton has been too overworked lately with dealing all the problems with the nobles putting pressure on him, but he seems to be doing okay.

Glass was wondering through the halls of the Academy alone since everyone had already taken leave for the Summer. She had sent Rain back, and Henry left to take "care" of some things. Once they come back, they will graduate.

Suddenly, she felt herself fall to the ground. And when she looked at the idiotic who knocked her down, saw that it was Roland and his hand was….

"I'm sorry," Roland said flushed as he took his hand off her and backed away. Glass said nothing as she stood up and walked away from him.

'Did I just fall for a cliché, me!' her mind screamed in her mind. After a few moments of her mind calming down 'What is he still doing here?' she wondered.

Well, not all students left there were some who stayed. So, she wasn't technically alone.

As Days rolled by easily, she kept encountering Roland at these "Cliché "moments, she can't get mad at him because at least this time he doesn't mean to. But still, they are annoying.

It happened once again when she was alone in the library. Without paying attention, they both touched the same book.

"ah! Sorry" he said as he quickly turned away.

"Say, what do you like about me?" Glass asked

He turned around showed a dumbfounded face "everything" he whispered with a red face.

"everything?" Glass said while thinking 'What am I doing?'

"Yes"

"Elaborate, what is everything?"

"…." He started growing redder, and he was almost a tomato. "I. Like" he paused as he looked at Glass.

'What's wrong with him, why isn't he answering…. huh" Glass has only just realized that she was smiling. She quickly covered her mouth.

"I like your smile" Glass frowned at him "I love your smile."

"Is that so" Glass turned her head away from him and taking the book from the shelf trying to hide her blushing face. She sat down on the sofa and opened the book to calm herself, within seconds she was fully observed in what she was reading.

Roland watched for a moment and was about to leave her be with he stopped suddenly and looked back at Glass. He seemed to be in a debate within his heart before he sat down beside her, Glass noted his presence but did not look at him at all.

"The book your reading is a series I like," he said nervously "I have been reading it since my first year."

"And"

Roland cheesed as she was willing to keep still talking to him.

It seems the two had been talking for hours, Roland looked like he had never been happier to be talking to her.

"The Sun is already this low" Glass said as she looked out the window.

"Yes, it is." Roland looked somewhat upset

"This is the only time I'll do this"

"Do wh…."

Roland found himself in shock as he realized that Glass kissed him. Their lips touched not just a peck on the cheek, but an actual kiss.

Roland close his eyes to savor the tender moment before he realized he wanted more as his hands wrapped around her and pulled her closer

'Maybe a Little….' Glass let her thoughts drift away

[Graduation Day]

Ferlin's Graduation took place in the arena in which they made their exams. Her class along with the others who wanted to see her graduate, so the stadium was full.

Graduations battles between upper and lower classmen are extremely popular before graduation as the lower classmen say goodbye to the upperclassmen.

Glass watched the battles between the classmen and thought about how it would have been nice If it were a little bit more eventful.

But at the same, if your too strong battles can be tedious and tiring.

Roland had not bothered since then he took their last talk as a goodbye peacefully. They would never meet in this world again.

The last battle had ended, and sometime later Glass had finished her speech which marked the end of her graduation ceremony. And afterward, she would go home and carry out her next steps to the plan

Getting Henry on the Throne, he has already prepared for the revolt during his brother's wedding.

She feels bad for the Queen Dowager, but there was no way she was just going to allow her son to die easy, at best she would take her life to. Because Henry would not spare his father for what he has done. It seems this story would likely play out similar to the original.

On her way back to the Hall estate she took a good looked at the fully blooming Vulgare province. It was absolutely beautiful.

Glass stepped into the Hall and felt enlightened as Samantha came to greet her with Iris her father. Breton had welcomed her in the main room. He was looking more and more fulfilled then she had ever seen him. Their younger sister had abruptly placed herself on Glass lap.

Next month is the wedding of Mayuri and Jared.
