22 Chapter 22: Hero’s Chronicle, Returning Home After The Spring Event.

For the next few months, Glass had acted like was the perfect president and role model once again. A Fanclub had already to among her class.

Glass wanted to prove to her granddaughter that she wasn't getting back together with her grandfather. So, she has been ignoring Roland like a plague.

Clarity commented to her Once "You are not fooling me."

Which made her even more determined.

Henry and Rain were dumbfounded with how close Glass and Clarity got as they are always in each other's company.

Now it was time for Ferlin's Spring event to begin….

"It's time for this year's spring event...You will face off against other Class. The last standing class will win this year's event…."

"So, basically a free for all. But with Teams" Henry said

"Seems like it," Rain said annoyed "it too early to be up."

"You sound like a spoiled rich Kid," Clarity said mockingly before turning her eyes to Glaze who was walking away from Roland who was chasing after her, she smiled at how funny her grandparents were.

Glass saw Clarity's smile and fumed even more inside her granddaughter was treated like a young maiden in love. And this pest behind her won't Shut-up or Leave her alone. She walked off so far that she didn't realize that she had separated from the group.

"Wait" Glass heard Roland's voice as he had caught up to her. "You shouldn't go too far. Otherwise, you may get lost…."

She ignored him as he began talking to her.

"Wait," He said again "I don't know what, I did to you. To make you hate me this much. But I'm sorry for whatever it was. I'll make it up to you…" He said sadly, but Glass kept walking away. "********" his voice overlapped with someone else's for a moment.

Glass halted as she turned her head to Roland. "What did you call Me" her voice quivered as the sky darkened seemingly becoming a storm. Roland has no idea what happened, but he knows that he must have done something wrong, his crush who typically has a calm expression is now making one of fear, panic and something else.

She couldn't breathe, it felt like the air was being sucked out of her.

Glass blanked for a second before she realized that she wasn't in the forest anymore. But back in the fountains as she realized that she became Mana again. She laid on the ground as if she was in pain.

"He called me "********" again; this is the second time. He nothing more than a normal Human so how does he know "Her." Why does he call me by "her" name." she trembled on the ground with tears falling from her face. They soaked into the ground and fell like meteors blessing anything they touched.

"Elfin…. Thank you for bringing Me out" Mana said still trembling on the ground.

You should calm down. This place will not last if you become too emotional.

Mana nodded in response as she laid on the ground shivering for a

while.

"Elfin can you send me back," she said once she calmed down.

The natural bright light covered the area as Mana stood up and returned to the familiar appearance.

"Wait," He said again "I don't know what, I did to you. To make..."

"It's not that," Glass said, "You just make me uncomfortable, that's all."

Roland as he took in Glass words 'I make her uncomfortable' he thought sadly "why?" he asked.

"I don't know, that's how it is. So, I would like it if you don't bother me anymore, then you already have." She said coldly.

'Hey, look there are some newbies," and upperclassmen said coming from nowhere. Soon enough a group had surrounded them. They had laughed crazily.

"Hey, guys look that chick is h…"

The entire ground had fallen suddenly.

"I would prefer If you didn't speak with that filthy mouth of yours."

Glass wanted to cool off, and the best way to do so was going to be the weak upperclassmen. Henry and Rain had been having all the fun lately, and now it was her turn. Besides Satusko was completely excited.

Glass speed away and took out all the upperclassmen in the forest.

Until the bell rang marking the end of the event, it wasn't even an hour when the event ended.

Many were surprised at the quickness at which this year's event ended and somewhere disappointed at not being able to get some action.

When Glass got back to the dorm room later that day, Clarity had knocked on her door.

"Are you Okay?" Clarity said as she sat on the bed.

'I am" Glass said as she sat right next to her before laid on the bed.

"Clarity"

"mmmm"

"I'm not trying to get back together with your grandfather" Glass signed and closed her eyes.

"Do you plan to leave this world?"

"Tomorrow when spring break starts," Clarity said "I only wanted to precipitate in the exams here. Other than that, I'm leaving."

"Have you seen Melody yet?"

"...No. I have not" Clarity said after a moment of silence.

"She doesn't hate you for what you did, you know."

"….."

"Melody is in "Misty," she is living a peaceful life there, she no longer has her ambition. I think you should see her, the knot in your heart won't leave otherwise.."

Clarity nodded but didn't say anything. "I should turn in" She stood up "Goodnight, Grandmother. get"

Glass opened her eyes to watch her leave. "..."

Glass returned home to be immediately hugged by a clearly pregnant Samantha who was accompanied by Maxfield and Breton who looked overworked.

Blur, Salver, and Rica were flourishing. Since that was the case, her plans for the Vulgare province can begin. She had started to build her mall in since she couldn't in Rica, it turned out splendid.

Breton, Maxfield, and Samantha were excited when Glass came out with this project.

So, she had bought any land on sale, the building like the one she was thinking about is to complex, so she had built the mall with magic, unlike the other building. Since Glass had done this herself, it only took a day to complete. The mall turned out fantastic as not even a week came by when commoners and nobles rolled in. It was called:

"East Trade Company Mall"

I was a three-story building, and the top floor was reserved and made to become the Headquarters of the East Trade Company and the security team. Tally was excited about it too. The first and Second floor where fitted with accompanying stores an even a food court.

It didn't even take a week for the Mall to become well known as it was something new, and it was an indoor market for them.

Commoners and Nobles would Flood in alike, and it was a splendid thing to see.

Right now, Glass was watching the floors below from her office in the Mall she had fitted a safe full Window that could only see out but not In. Tally had switched his position since he no longer has to cover for her lightly because everyone knows she is the actual owner of the Company. He was her secretary along with three others: Mercer, Kevin, and Grace.

"I'm sorry to keep you waiting, My lady." Tally said

"Does Earl Raily often come here instead?" Glass asked

"Yes, it is as you say. In one week, older will come once or twice without fail."

"Is that so." Glass though for a moment "What kind of products does he usually buy?"

"As for the Earl, he buys a lot of confectioneries. Also, just recently, he purchased an Eau de Cologne. In addition, when he was accompanied by his wife or son, they also made many purchases."

"What kind of products to his wife and son purchase?"

She used the concept of magic gems, wires, solar power, and crystal balls. The only thing was that she only spread it among her company and did not yet sell the devices.

"Buzz" the phone the table rang, and Glass answered it.

"My lady, Earl Atria requests to meet you," said a security guard from the first floor.

"Send him up," Glass said as she waited a few moments. Earl Atria serves this Kingdom as its Finance Minister. In plain words, he was is one of Maxfield's subordinates, before he retired.

"To what do I owe the Pleasure of your visited, Earl Atria"

"A blessed afternoon, Miss Glass, you look very splendid today," the elder gentleman said

"…."

"I only came to inquire about somethings before you head back to Ferlin. Having both the East trade Company as well as the Mets and Bodyguards guild and Finally the neutral faction at the back of your hand. This one wonders what your plan is…." He paused for a moment

"Afterall the amount of work you put in for Blur, Salver, Rica and even Vulgare is an amazing achievement" He continued on "You've captured the hearts of many people of the common people. Reforming the taxation system, protecting orphans, building schools, and Strange technologies. You have quite a lineup Miss Glass, so much so, that some are starting to get worried and quite fearful."

"Say Earl Atria, how many times have you walked out and seen the people? How many times have you seen a human teat another human like trash? How many times have you seen homeless people begging on the street or children dying on the streets before they come of age? I Earl Atria am tired of seeing suffering, I had watched my parents suffer in a marriage neither wanted, I had seen the cruel beyond cruel. I had seen lives destroyed because of another's selfishness as well. To say what my plan is or goal, you sound like I am you planning some evils in the background while pretending to be good. Earl Atria my goal is simple I want to see the smiling faces of my people. Is that so hard to understand…. A country for the people a movement for the people" Glass had not once looked at Earl Atria as she kept his back turned to him.

"I see… I am exceedingly impressed. A government for the people… Even though you are still young, it seems you are already a public servant. However, please be careful. Because the remarks you have made today, 'a country for the people,' might be perceived 'baring your fangs.'"

"I am thankful for your advice." Glass said "I have no intention of raising a revolt against the country. As a person of the Duke's Family, I have more or less swore my allegiance to royal family."

Deacon opened the doors along with his security team who escorted he Earl out.

"Here," he handed her paperwork. "Are you going to go through with this"

Glass nodded "I am only using their plan against them" She called Tally in "Please go through with the Plans for the Orphanage"

Tally nodded and gave a pat to Deacon's back before he left the room and closed the door.

"Now then as for Henry?"

"He plans his revolt on his bother's wedding."

"The neutral faction?"

"They have been silent."

"Thank-you, you should go back," Glass said while holding onto the stack in her hand 'Its time to go home.'

Sara served Rose tea when she got back to the Hall estate, it was rather claiming.

"My lady" Glass heard Sara's voice quiver as she stared at an unbelievable. Glass looked up to see the familiar young girl in view

'Mayuri'

"Lady Glass, may I join you," She said.

"You may."

"My lady" Sara wanted to object

"Sara, please pour some tea and get my brush."

"My lady…" Sara looked reluctant before giving in to Glass stare "As you wish" she said before glaring as Mayuri. She poured her tea and left to get her lady brush. Sara doesn't know that Yuri is May nearly no one ones as Mayuri hide he identity well.

"Do you tire of playing with the second prince?" Glass said

"Somewhat my Lady."

"It was your own choice to do this"

"My lady will you not accept me back" Mayuri said "I can't apologize for the way I treated Breton in his earlier years but I…. I can promise not to do so again…."She stopped when she saw Sara come back.

"My lady here you are" Sara gave her lady the brush. Glass took the brush and handed it to Mayuri, who beamed with absolute joy.

"Can….I…Can..I really" she said it so brightly that it startled Sara.

"Glass nodded and Mayuri took the brush gently before getting up and making her way to brush Glass's hair. Mayuri began to brush Glass hair ever so gently, Sara watched in a stunned expression as she felt an odd sense of déjà vu. Almost like so had seen this before.

"How dare she come here," Samantha said from really far away. Sara was the only one to see the madam coming this way in a rage followed by the master trying to keep his pregnant wife calm and the young master looking worried walking this way.

That was until the Madam suddenly stopped as she saw Yuri gentle brushing her step-daughters hair. This gave paused to Maxfield as well as Breton. Breton looked at the scene with a sense of similarity to something he'd seen before. But couldn't remember when it was.

"All done" Mayuri said as she handed the brush back to Sara. "I have to get going, So, I'll take my leave" She turned around and greeted her other family members polity before leaving.

A few moments went by before they could say anything

"My lady!! We have an emergency!!" a maid came screaming

"…." Glass closed her eyes.
