34 Chapter 2: Pendragon, Faith Pendragon

"Rose, told Lily to keep an eye on Tulip I want you both to watch her." Faith said to her daughter, the appearance of Mana had been casted off.

"I'll be fine on my own" Rose looked silently at her mother for a moment before she stood up and disappeared. Faith breathed heavily as she looked at the gravestone before her.

"Claudius when we first met, I thought our relationship would end just like all the other mortal souls before you. But then you kept finding me over and over again. I was at first fine with seeing you again. Even if you didn't remember our lives together, and even if sometimes we didn't end up together. But then I found out you knew *******, a person no one should know or even remember. That terrified me Claudius to the point I became so unstable that a whole world was destroyed beyond return. Because of me, I am a coward who wants to bury her secrets" Mana had broken out.

"So please let me bury it all."

She paused and turned around; someone had just entered this sacred ground. Then she felt the person was familiar and she smiled lightly.

"Merlin" and looked at the man who seemed to be in his 20s but is older

"My! It's been a long time. You also seemed to have matured since I last saw you."

"Teacher, this student greets you" He respectfully.

"Merlin lead me outside, as a former queen of Avalon. I should see how it's been since then" He nodded as he led her outside. When Faith married Claudius Avalon was a desolate place, through her effort it soon became the belle of the continent. During her time as Queen, she became very beloved by the people, kind, courageous, strong, beautiful Queen Faith. Unfortunately, her marriage didn't stop suitors from trying to kidnap and make her their own. Avalon ended up being subjected to multiple wars so that countries could take her away. But it remained standing due to the King who valiantly protected his wife and the

Queen who went to battle by his side.

"Welcome back to Camelot, and Teacher," Merlin said as they entered the palace

"Yes," Faith said sadly its less beautiful then it was before "Do you think if I see Uther, he'll call me a mother like before."

"Teacher, you're the only mother he's ever known."

"I suppose, but I can't help but think, that if I never game Claudius the idea to adopt him and his brothers. Rose wouldn't have been forced to…." She was interrupted.

"Sir Merlin, Sir Merlin" a young boy called

"What's wrong Kai?"

"Arthur, he went into the witch's forest. I didn't mean to dare him, Merlin; I didn't" Kai was sobbing

"Kai goes to my tower, don't worry. I'll bring Arthur back" He said, Kai ran to the wizard's tower. "I'm sorry teacher, I have to go," he said as he was about to leave

"Wait"

"Yes, Teacher" he stopped abruptly

"Let me go, I'd like to meet Uther's son," Faith said as her body turned into a child "Besides I know the witch in the forest she wouldn't dare do anything while I'm here," She said in a child's voice.

Faith is deep in the Collate forest as she reminisces her first encounter with the witch. Maine was her name; she was a child raised in the woods by the animals before she meets a witch by chance who then taught her magic. Maine ended up a powerful witch who desired the throne, and she took Faith's appearance while she was a way to try and trick Claudius, it nearly worked until Faith showed up and saw her husband kissing another woman that looks like her. She spent the next few weeks punishing both of them, by the end Maine was terrified of Faith.

Meow, Faith heard a cat below her feet as it purred while rubbing her leg.

"Yuyu" Faith picked up the cat with her hands and held him firmly. Yuyu was Faith's cat Familiar that she had to watch Maine over the years. Faith looked up at the candy house and smiled as she walked toward it, opening the door.

"Oh, my little dear," The young women with a kind face said, "Are you lost?" she said

Faith said nothing as she approached Maine. "Is there anything wrong child?"

Maine felt nervous; she knows that she has never seen this little girl before. However, the girl is making her more afraid as she approaches.

"I'm looking for Arthur, do you know where he is?" Faith said giggling at Maine noticeable nervousness.

"No Child I…." Maine stopped as her nervous turned to fear to look at the cat curled up on her leg

"Where is he?" Faith said again

"I…. Don't"

"Where is he, Maine?"

"H…ee…Over their…I turned him into a green gumdrop".

"Thank you" Faith smiled and went towards the candy "I'll just take him and go. Ah! But I'll remember to visit you every now and again. You must get SOOO, Lonely" Faith so as she walked away.

Maine looked at the disappearing figure of Faith and dropped to her knees, as she could barely breath.

"Please don't come Back." She whispered. Fully believing the nightmare that is Faith Pendragon left.
