194 Chapter 18: Exalted Eldest Madam, A General’s Observation (Side-Story) (Part 1)

Until I recalled that I did indeed have a child, but she was a four-month-old infant.

"Ah! Where are you going?" I heard my wife say as she chased after the infant.

My wife eventually lost her too, and I couldn't help myself come out. I walked up to the women who I hadn't seen a smile at panic over losing sight of a child. When she saw me, her face froze and then grew cold.

It hurt, and I felt my heart being stabbed all over again.

The suddenly it my wife fell over, I caught her before she fell utterly o the ground. In my arms I held her, and it felt really good. She looked up with a flushed face that I hadn't seen in what felt like ages.

And then I head the giggle of an infant. My wife and I looked at her who sat with my wife formally was.

Did she push her? Can an Infant do that?

My wife and I were so confused until the little thing crawled away again while giggling. Me and my wife looked at each other and then I felt her face flush before abruptly moving away.

"That child shouldn't be alone," my wife said before she started chasing after the infant and I ended up joining her.

"Damn, where are the servants?" My wife said out of breath

Until we heard her giggling, I listen to her but where is she, I looked around.

"Dear," My wife tugged my shelves me it made me feel warm inside. But I was my wife's face who was pale and looking up.

My gaze joined her as all the warmth from my face left me. She was on the roof.

And Yet she was still giggling.
