122 Chapter 14: Winter, Rumors and Another Date

Rose had walked down the stairs as it seemed that Anna had returned, Anna had once again slapped Rose's face harshly. But Rose did not respond. As she Anna roughly walked up the steps and seemingly disappeared. It was a few minutes before she heard the buss of the intercom. She walked outside as she came faced to face with June's girlfriend.

"You are" She questioned

"Hello, Ma'am. I'll take the younger master inside."

"You're that girl that was at the party."

"Yes, Ma'am. I'm a poor student. So, I work as a maid here" Rose smiled. As she held up Anthony

"Have a safe, Drive home ma'am" Rose turned around and brought Anthony to his bed. When he suddenly turned hostile

"Let go of me your ugly bitch."

Before he even saw it coming, he was knocked unconscious roughly by Rose who was tired of his mouth. And Put him to bed. Rose suddenly realized that her tolerance level has waned with this family.

The next morning, she passed by Anthony to head to Griffin's office.

"One of these days, I'll kick you out of this house."

"Do whatever you want?" she said emotionless as she walked passed him, Surprising him.

"Greeting Grandfather," She said

"Here is a nurturing class for mothers" Griffin handed her a pamphlet.

"How nice I'd like to go. But it would overlap with the upcoming field trip."

"You can go to this instead of the fired trip."

Rose nodded at his suggestion. Before leaving and going to school like normal, Rose had started to hear whispers of rumors. Her gaze changed as she understood the that Anthony let loose a rumor about someone giving birth and going still going to school. When she sat at her desk, her desk mate told her not believe in rumors. Rose just smiled at her; she heard the whisper behind her back.

It seems that nearly her was going to be like this. Rose was stopped when she was walking down the hall, and it was Anthony's Fanclub girls.

"Where are you going?" the lead girl asked

"Home, where else."

"I heard everything, no wonder these the smell of children's product on you."

"I hear the father's some low life who will sleep with anyone."

"How do the teachers not know about this"

"Hey, so is it true, answer me" The lead girl demanded

"…." Rose said nothing as she smiles

"The stories..." Anthony was about to say

"They are true" Rose cut Anthony off "Do you want to see a picture. He's an adorable baby boy. Who look's just like his father."

This caught the girls and Anthony off guard. Rose pulled a small picture out of her bag and gave it to the girls. They were stunned as they looked back and forth between Anthony and the baby in the picture especially since the Connells families have the unique blonde hair and green eyes.

It's too bad that Anthony never also a good look at Winter before spreading this rumor

"See, his blonde hair and green eyes are just like his father's," Rose said excitedly "And as for if the teachers know, of course, they do. They also know who his father is"

Rose giggled as she looked at Anthony who has a livid expressional "But, I suppose you girls are right, it's my fault for sleeping with a low prick, who can't take responsibility for his actions."

Anthony raised his hand and was about seconds away from her face.

Snap, Rose had twisted his arm, it was so quick that nobody could be anything as Anthony moaned in pain. His fangirls screamed, Anthony's friends came up behind her as if to force her away. She dodged their advances.

"Hey," June said from behind her, making her mood decrees more "You guys shouldn't be picking on

her, she's still a girl."

Since June was the pride of the school they all scattered. Including Anthony and his gang. His

Fanclubs girls stuck around; they are now in denial.

Rose said, "Thank you to June" Before she quickly left, she was annoyed with him appearing as if trying to play hero.

He caught up with her as she walked out the school gate.

"Would you like to catch a movie?" he asked boldly. Rose didn't want to respond before she noticed June's girlfriend in the car not far away.

"No," Rose said slowly "June, I have a seven-month-old baby back home. And You have a girlfriend who might not appreciate that" She pointed to the car before walking off.

June looked solemnly at his girlfriend "Sue" he said

Rose returned to see that Meggs the babysitter was bathing Winter. She had bags under eyes; Rose could tell that she fought with her lover.

Buzz, Rose reached for her phone.

"Would you like to see a movie?" Jean said, "And can you bring Winter?"

Rose chuckled "Maybe" she looked at Meggs "See you tomorrow, Miss Meggs," she said as the babysitter left with an unusually gaze at her son. Something in which Rose didn't like at all. As she pulled Winter close to her. He then reached for her phone "You want to talk to Jean?" She said as she handed the phone to Winter.

When Winter heard Jean voice, he started talking in his baby language. Which made both her and Jean laugh.

Since, there was still daylight Rose decided to go. She packed up Winter and meet Jean outside the

theater. Winter sat on Jean lap while sucking on his pacifier as he watched the flashes on the screen.

After the theater, the two went to a family restaurant nearby.

It was unfortunate that June and his girlfriend where in the same restaurant. Rose ignored them and walked over to a booth far away from them. Jean still had Winter in his arms when they sat down.

Both her and Jean had the idea to order soft foods just in case Winter wanted some.

"Do you know them?" Jean asked.

Rose nodded "Yes, the man is June he goes to the same school while his date is his girlfriend."

"Do they need to stare at us that intently?"

"They don't know you, and I think they had the misunderstanding that I am with Anthony"

The waiter brought a High chair for Winter. Who was then sat down in it? It seemed that he liked the Hight it was at because he had the biggest smile on his face.

They had a pleasant talk which disrupted June as he and his girlfriend walked towards them.

Both with plastered smiles on their faces.

"Fancy meeting you here," June said. Jean doubled back at Rose and then to June.

"It sure is" Rose responded late as she caught his girlfriend's expression.

"I see you brought him out" June looked at Winter. Although his facial expression seemed harmless, it didn't look that way to Rose or Jean as they both went on guard.

"Yes, it's been a while since I went outside with him."

"Is he your nephew" Sue asked.

"Ye…"

"No, he's my son," Rose said giving the girl a stunned expression.

"But, you're so young" Rose saw the hint of disgust in her eyes, Jean saw it too as he frowned

"Are you going to join us?" Jean asked

"Can we?" June said

"We don't want to disturb you," Sue said

"You won't" Rose got up and scooted Jean over, so, that June and Sue could move into the opposite booth just as the waiter brought their food.

"Do you need anything?" the waiter asked polity before giving a wide smile at Winter who responded with a giggle.

"No, thank, sir" Jean said before he took a little spoon of soup.

"The baby is so cute" Rose heard the waiter say under his breath to a co-worker who smiled in agreement. Jean picked up spoon and started consuming his soup before glancing at Winter.

Winter frowned before taking out his pacifier and making sounds to mark his displeasure.

"You want some?" Jean asked Winter with another spoon full of soup. Just as he was about to put the spoon in Winter's mouth, Jean ate it. Winter little face looked in disbelief. Rose couldn't help herself as she cheeses out this moment and took out her phone to start recording this funny scene.

June and Sue where watching as they seemed to have been forgotten about. The waiter's in the background saw this cute moment and couldn't help but take pictures
