9 Chapter 4-2

I think I come too early, since Shawn is not at the dojo yet. I actually don't know how to call this place, but since it looks like a dojo, I call it a dojo. Shawn and Tristan mentioned that they used to train here in order to be good at sword, and after that they became apprentices, in fact, everyone who wants to be a royal guard or soldiers need to train here once. Since there aren't any recruitments for guards and soldiers at the moment, this dojo is vacant. But I still do not understand the army system of this country though, there are guards, soldiers and knights. But aren't soldiers and knights are the same ? Or is it because I did not look up to these kind of things in the past life so I'm a little bit blur ? Never mind, I'll just ask Shawn later.

" Young ~~~~ Prince ~~~~~ " Ahh, here he comes.

" What takes you so long to appear ? " Actually it is not his fault since I came earlier than expected, but still I need to show some power since I'm a Prince.

Huh ? So this guy just asked me to copy his moves ? Is it the correct way of teaching ? Or he is a spy sent from my so-called parents in this world ? I'm not really a beginner since I learnt kendo, but this is my first time using the Western kind of sword, so I'm still count as a beginner though. But still, that move was too difficult for me, and he still claimed that it was a basic move ? Ridiculous...

" Can you show it one more time ? I cannot see clearly. " This time I really need to focus, if I cannot do it, I will really lose my face.

' Swoosh ' Finally, I see it. The sword line was fast, and looks distracting since I saw like two are three lines at the same time, and it went straight next to my face, seems dangerous.

" Now show me what did you learn from it. " Shawn says it with an arrogant face, how frustrating. I can clearly see it, but if I am able to do it or not is another different thing. Hahh... Maybe I'll just add some of the moves that I constructed by myself to what Shawn did earlier. I think that I will get scolded by him.

This lesson is just impossible for me, I don't care anymore. And the way Shawn teach me is so unclear, I want another teacher !!!

' Whoosh ' Ohh ?? It sounded the same as Shawn's one. Am I a genius ? Or not ? For some reasons, Shawn just became serious and intimidating ? What is he angry of ? Is it because I just anyhow swing the sword and didn't take this lesson seriously ? Oops, I'm very sorry...

" Errr Shawn..... Are you upset of something ? " I take all of my courage to ask him this. I need to know the answer, what did I do wrong ?

" Nothing, just proceed. " Okay, but what to proceed ? Does he mean that I continue to do these two moves ? I really want to change teacher.

" Just show me whatever moves that you know, or the ones that you made by yourself. " So that's what he meant by ' proceed' . But is it really okay ? Since Shawn came here to teach me new moves though. Hahh.... I'll just listen to him, he's serious.

I show him everything that I learnt from my kendo classes in the past life, and all the moves that I made while I was in my fantasy of being a hero of the country or something. Man, this is so embarrassing. He shouldn't have made me do these kind of things.

" I'm finished. That's all that I know. " Finally, the most embarrassing moment of my life ever since I came here ended. Shawn seems like he's thinking about something. Is it because I looked liked too much of a Chuunibyou person ? But I won't deny that I'm a bit too much like a Chuuni though.

" Hmmmmm... I cannot conclude anything until now. Maybe I need you to show me those moves again next lesson. " he says " It is almost lunch time, you need to eat something, children lose their energy really fast right. "

Now he mentions it, I am really tired and hungry right now. Maybe I should eat lunch first.

" So our lesson ends here today. Any question ? " Of course I have. What is that kind of shi**y kind of teaching ? But I will never say that.

" How is the army system functioned in this Kingdom ? "

" Army system ? It's weird for a kid to ask these kind of question. But because you ask, I will answer it whole-heartedly. " That kind of arrogant look again. " I think you already know that there are three positions in this country's army system, those are guards, soldiers and knights. " Of course, I learnt that when I played the game. " Soldiers are the one who protect the countries, like guarding the country's border, make sure that the villages, towns, and cities are safe,... something like that. They are also the ones who will fight for the country when war comes. There are two types of soldiers at the moment, the Land Force, which protects the land, and the Marine Force, which defends our sea and oceans in case of the enemies attack us using ships and pirates. " Not that much different from the past life nation's army, but they don't have Air Force here.

" Then what if the enemy use some kind of flying tools and attack us from the above ? " There are no appearance of aircrafts in this world yet. But who knows, maybe someone like the Wright Brother appear in the future. Back on Earth, people didn't know that planes would be invented, and the Wright Brothers appeared and brought the first ever plane to the world. So sooner or later, someone will just invent some flying tools like planes or drones and assist their country in the war. " Okay, so that was all for soldiers. I will move on to guards. Guards are different from soldiers, but they are the same in some ways. Soldiers defend the whole country, but guards only protect an individual. Just like the guards who stand in front of this Palace's gate that you always see, their job is to look after this place, and ensure that there will be no one harm this place. Or just like me and Tristan, our job is to look after and protect you, Young Prince. " So it is like the bodyguards that rich people hire, but the Royal guards only protect Royal members.

" Guards don't have much thing to talk about, so I will explain the knights for you. The Knights are the superior version of soldiers and guards. They are granted with honorary titles of knighthood by the King, Queen. In this country, a competition to select a knight is open for all Royal guards and soldiers every 5 years. They will be battled with one another randomly and only 1 person who can still stand up at the end is the winner and will be granted the title. But of course if a soldier or guard achieve something that is important for the Kingdom, he or she will also have that title. They will be addressed at Sir or Madam. Until now, there is only one female who got that title of a Knight, she is Madam Valeria Gabrielle Hillsborough. She is slightly older than me, but I don't know her exact age. " So this Madam is very strong. " She is the winner of the last Knight competition that happened 2 years ago. She is also the strongest person of this Kingdom at the moment, no one can defeat her.
