“The Yankees sound fine. It is a little too early for dinner.” Chase stretched; he looked a little stiff and sore.

“I’m glad you can wait to eat. I made reservations for eight but I can change them if you’re hungry.” Rowan hoped that Chase would agree. He found himself wanting to spend more time with Chase and really get to know him. “Do you want some chips to hold you over?”

“No, I’m good,” Chase said.
