1 transmigration

Song Qiu groaned as someone relentlessly shook her awake.

"Qiu Qiu, wake up! The class is over!"

She lifted her buried head from her slender arms and blurrily opened her eyes. As her eyes adjusted focus, Song Qiu grew more and more scared taking in her surroundings.

'Where was this?'

She was sitting in a large lecture hall facing a long whiteboard that had a projected screen displaying the end of a slideshow. This was most definitely not where she fell asleep last night!

The sound of a feminine voice drew her attention away from her surroundings and her eyes landed on the person sitting next to her. The girl next to her had a palm-sized face with apple red lips that were striking against her pale white skin. Her chic short hair cut only added to her captivating looks.

Her brown almond-shaped eyes were filled with insincere concern and a touch of impatience as she said, "Qiu Qiu, now that class is over, aren't you going to see Qiao Xing?"

The name "Qiao Xing" ran alarm bells in Song Qiu's mind.

'Wasn't this the name of the female lead of the book I was reading last night?!' thought Song Qiu shocked. 'Don't tell me I somehow transmigrated into this book!!'

Song Qiu felt that her scalp was numb. The reality of her transmigrating hadn't sunken in yet. While it was too shocking for her mind to wrap around, what was even more shocking was the fact that she didn't even finish this novel!

'AHH! At least if I transmigrated, let it be a novel that I finished!!' wailed Song Qiu internally.

The novel she had entered was titled "You are My Youth" and it was a very cliche campus love story. It was a typical Cinderella novel where the poor female lead, through her hard work, obtains a scholarship to a prestigious university for the elite. Upon arriving there, she meets three different rich guys who eventually all fall in love with her. However, the role she received wasn't the kind, beautiful female lead, but a small cannon fodder villainess! The cannon fodder villainess wasn't even a part of the main cast and all her scenes in the novel could be counted with one hand before she met her end by the male lead's hand. Reading the novel, Song Qiu didn't feel the least bit of pity for the character with the same name as her. But now that she became the "Song Qiu" in the book, she definitely felt a huge load of pity! Mostly for herself for being transmigrated into such a terrible character. The "Song Qiu" in the book was, like any other villainess, brain-dead and extremely intent on separating the male lead from the female lead. Bullying the female lead left and right, "Song Qiu" was an arrogant third-generation rich heiress who was greatly infatuated with the male lead.

'Forget the shock of transmigrating, what's more important is figuring out what plot point I'm even in!' cried Song Qiu.

Seeing that Song Qiu hadn't responded for a long time, Chang Wan thought she was still half-asleep and shook her arm gently.

She hurriedly reminded, "Didn't you send people to block her? You should hurry up and catch up to them."

Song Qiu felt panic rising when she heard those words. The original "Song Qiu" must have ordered something to happen to the female lead. Song Qiu didn't want to meet the same fate as the original character, thus she was determined to put a stop to whatever plan the original "Song Qiu" was plotting.

Song Qiu tried to maintain a relaxed appearance as she answered, "Uhm...right. I did but I-I must've slept too much and so I suddenly forgot...erm...the place I sent people to block her. Do you know where is it?"

Chang Wan looked at Song Qiu with a hint of contempt as she responded, "How am I supposed to know? I'm not the one who ordered it. Just check your phone."

Song Qiu was uncomfortable with Chang Wan's subtle disdain but had no time to deal with it. She quickly felt her jeans pocket for a phone and took it out. The chat with the "people" the original character had sent was still open when Song Qiu turned on the cellphone. Scrolling up, she found an address where Qiao Xing was presumably being blocked at the moment. Without even saying a word to Chang Wan, she promptly grabbed the bag on the back of the plastic chair and ran out of the hall.

Chang Wan called after her, "Hey, wait for me!"

The address was in an alleyway where the original "Song Qiu" had paid a group of gangsters, who in reality were just typical school bullies, to scare the female lead. Of course, the male lead who was passing by with his group of friends noticed the conflict and acted to save the beauty. The original "Song Qiu," who was happily filming the scene, offended the male lead and thus, met her poor end. Not only was she repeatedly humiliated by the male lead, but he also later bankrupted her family's corporation after inheriting his family company. It wasn't an exaggeration to say that if Song Qiu didn't change the plot, her livelihood would end at this moment. Thinking about the stakes at hand, she speeded up her pace to the alleyway.

Upon arriving there, what greeted her was a group of tall, muscular boys cornering a petite girl. One of them with bright blue hair, presumably the leader of the gang, reached out and gripped the girl's chin about to spit on her face.

Panting for air, Song Qiu yelled, "STOP!"

Everyone's eyes fell on Song Qiu, giving her a sense of pressure for interrupting the scene. She subconsciously gulped and her gaze collided with the girl's rounded doe eyes filled with fear. Song Qiu couldn't help but appreciate Qiao Xing's beauty for a moment. Qiao Xing's cute button nose matched the rest of her soft facial features well. Her fluttering long black lashes accentuated her upturned eyes and her rose-colored lips were especially eye-catching against her milky white skin. The thin bangs on her forehead shaped her small face and added to her delicate image.

'She's really worthy of being a female lead,' thought Song Qiu admiringly. 'Her beauty can really kill someone.'

The blue-haired leader released Qiao Xing's chin and frowned at Song Qiu.

"What's the matter? I thought you wanted us to bully her," he said.

Song Qiu returned back to reality and shook her head vigorously.

"Ah, I-I changed my mind. Just let her go."

The group of gangsters was confused. What game was Song Qiu playing at? Just the other day, she insisted fiercely for them to block Qiao Xing and even offered a high price, but now she changed her mind suddenly?

Looking especially intimidating, the blue-haired leader spoke up, "Are we still gonna get our money?"

Before Song Qiu could respond, the deafening sound of motorcycles at the entrance of the alleyway could be heard. Song Qiu went pale in fright. There was only one person she could think of who drove a motorcycle in this novel!

'It's over! It's really over! The male lead is here!" wept Song Qiu.
