4 group

Noticing that there wasn't much time for her lunch break, Song Qiu headed to her next class, finance, according to the room number and hall of the schedule. Compared to the room she originally found herself in, this classroom was medium sized with several rows of connected tables curving to face the large projected screen on the whiteboard. Song Qiu was a little early so she was able to choose where to sit. Pulling out a black plastic chair in the back of the classroom, she promptly sat down and placed the original "Song Qiu's" branded handbag onto the table to find a notebook to write in. While there were a few thin notebooks in the Louis Vuitton purse, there were far more irrelevant items in the bag. A heavy flower scented perfume bottle, expensive cosmetics, and even small dainty accessories were placed carefully in the bag.

Seeing the products, Song Qiu shook her head and thought, 'Tsk, tsk, she really loves dressing up. Are all these things necessary? I only come to class wearing a thick hoodie and sweatpants with a laptop.'

If the original "Song Qiu" had met her, there was no doubt that the original "Song Qiu" would look down on her casual attire and bare face.

Opening the notebook, Song Qiu's face became several times darker and she almost vomited out blood. Instead of calling it a notebook, it was more of a diary filled with doodles of things like "Song Qiu + Lu Zheng" and "Mrs. Lu" on almost every line. There were also drawings of what Song Qiu guessed were a wedding and other images such as a cartoon girl holding hands, kissing, and hugging a boy. And this was only the first page of the notebook. Song Qiu was suddenly afraid to see the other pages. The doodles and words really made Song Qiu wish she didn't have eyes at the moment. Flipping the pages, she was shocked to find that none of the pages had notes in them! They were all filled with similar drawings and inscriptions she had seen on the first page of the book. Being a good student in the real world, where had Song Qiu seen a whole notebook without any notes?

'Don't tell me she spends the entire class drawing this stuff?!' thought Song Qiu incredulously.

Song Qiu desperately wanted to chuck the notebook out the window in frustration. It was absolutely useless to her. Briefly checking the other notebooks, she found that they either were a repeat of the first one she opened or were simply brand new. Song Qiu was extremely worried; how was she going to pass this class and other ones without any notes?

While Song Qiu was immersed in her own thoughts, the classroom was getting more and more filled with students. It wasn't until the professor, a man in his late 40s, dressed in a fitted white collared shirt matched with professional black pants entered the room and greeted everyone that Song Qiu returned back to reality. Glancing up, Song Qiu froze in horror before rubbing her eyes vigorously. She must be seeing things! The male lead and the female lead arrived at the exact classroom she was in.

'No wonder the original character brought so much cosmetics and perfumes in her bag. It was all to look her very best in front of the male lead,' thought Song Qiu bitterly.

The female lead was seated in the back right corner of the class without any company and the male lead along with his friends were seated in the back left corner, making Song Qiu feel as if she was surrounded. Looking at the female lead's lonely appearance caused Song Qiu to scold the original "Song Qiu" in her mind.

'It's all because of her that the female lead is isolated from everyone else,' sighed Song Qiu.

No one wanted to offend the original "Song Qiu" who had a powerful family backing her for a poor student who only came to this university on a government funded scholarship program.

While Song Qiu felt pity for the female lead, she really didn't want to attract Qiao Xing or Lu Zheng's attention. She was determined to stay away from the main characters. She didn't want to deal with whatever messy plot was occurring at the moment and even more so wanted to distance herself from the male lead. Song Qiu was very much aware that nothing good would come out of being entangled with him. However, even if she didn't look for trouble, trouble would look for her.

The trouble started when Professor Hong suddenly announced that there was going to be a group project worth 10% of the students' grade. Song Qiu shrank in her seat praying that they would be able to choose their own partners. Unfortunately, God was currently offline and couldn't answer her prayers.

"Alright, the class has only around 50 or so students so I divided you guys up into groups of 5 and I already have the assigned groups," said Professor Hong.

Calling out the names, he read up to group 4.

"Qiao Xing, Lu Zheng, Song Qiu, Mo Jiang, Yang Wei, group 4. Zhang Hu, Cheng Zhi…"

Song Qiu wanted to cry without tears. Weren't all these names part of the main cast? The female lead, the male lead, the second male lead, and the third male lead were all in Song Qiu's group. She didn't understand why she, a small cannon fodder villainess, could be tied to the main cast so strongly? Song Qiu definitely didn't read this part in the book. After the original "Song Qiu" was caught bullying the female lead and humiliated by the male lead, she simply skipped class and went to her apartment to vent her emotions. Now that Song Qiu actually showed up to class, who knew she would be put in the same group as all the main characters? In short, she definitely had the worst luck ever.
